“I don't even know how we found this place because it feels like it is way out in the country, but we were pleasantly surprised. The service was lovely and food was good, but the cocktails were the best thing. They had a long menu of interesting variations of martinis, and some interesting twists on traditional ones.”

“Stopped here after a concert at Penn state the night before and needed breakfast in the way to my hometown. This was 10 minutes off the highway, but it didn't matter because the food was delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, the avocado toast was also great. The town was definitely quiet and seemed abandoned but the cafe was cute.”

“A+ food and service! The little blonde waitress was superb, but there was a very young black haired girl that kept coughing and coughing. The whole time we were there. She was even wrapping up silverware. You can work sick in many lines of work, like mechanic, or truck driver, or farmer, but not in the food business! “If you're in Newport and looking for a drink, this is the place. It's not pretty, but it is the epitome of a hole in the wall. Beware, they allow smoking but not vaping inside. Drinks were reasonably priced. Patrons and staff alike were friendly.Parking: It's best to park in town and just walk as there aren't really any parking options at the bar itself.”

“We visited today and the winery was very busy as they were hosting a painting class of some sort. You order at the bar for any wine flights and food, which they bring to your table. The seating area outside was nice, which we preferred to the indoor area due to the crowd and noise. But it has a nice view of the vines, with a variety of birdhouses. We tried the chef salads and flights of wine, both of which were good but not great. Overall, it was a nice little spot to visit.”

It was fun eating here because my parents and grandparents use to come here so it brought back fun memories. This is definitely a New Bloomfield placeholder.”

“Opens at 2:00 - had a late lunch / early dinner with GF and her brother. Burgers, cheesesteak, Cesar salad all excellent. Worth a stop when near. Friendly locals if you sit at the bar. Chips on the side are home made, fried in beef tallow, made them exceptional.”

They were angel's, as I was bringing my husband home from Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. I can't thank Subway and their wonderful employees enough.
