“Awesome food, great service, homey atmosphere, reasonable prices. The owner & staff are friendly and attentive. You feel like family when you’re there. My new favorite is the cheesy garlic bread with a side of the most amazing marinara sauce. Pizza is yummy too. Love this place!”
“New ownership and new manager. The food has been upgraded and new selections have been added. The prices have been reduced on some menu items. It's not fancy, but it's a friendly place.”
“I think it is on of the best ice cream shops around. Had a twist in a cone, the ice cream had a lot of flavor and wasn't gritty like.most ice cream places you go to. I would recommend this place to anyone.”
“Great ice cream shop with wonderful staff. The flavors are amazing!Dietary restrictions: They carry lactose free options.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in from the sidewalk with large doorways.”
“Goose Day, of course all four at table ordered goose, pulled apart, on stuffing with gravy however you like it. Pictured. My sides, lettuce with hot warm bacon dressing, Harvard beats, and a little cranberry sauce. Fresh rolls and great mint house brewed ice tea. Warning at many restaurants after your main selection it is easy choosing from limited standard sides. At County Line there is no time to pat yourself on the back for your main choice cause now you must focus on choosing from 20 or more side dishes! Enjoy but leave room for dessert, choose from their in house made sticky buns, cakes, and pies. Today the special goose cake was chocolate with peanut butter icing. The goose on each slice was a chocolate goose with coating.Vegetarian options: Just tell them what you want, they will gladly accommodate your desiresParking: Level paved, with gravel overflow available for RV's and larger vehiclesWheelchair accessibility: All level, just roll in, restrooms are older and tight”
“Their pizzas (along with many other items that they offer--especially cannolis) are always amazing. The staff is wonderful and provides speedy service. Always our go to!”
“I waited until my second visit to make a review because unfortunately I was unimpressed on my first visit and I don't like to give bad reviews. So I gave it another chance recently and it was a much better experience. I do love the atmosphere and seems like a good spot just to hang out and get some work done like at other coffeehouses. Both visits we were the only people there so I hope business picks up for them because this place has good potential. The first time I went I can't remember exactly what I got as far as coffee but I believe it was an iced coffee and not a latte and it was mostly milk and sugar. This recent visit I got one of the special fall drinks and it was delicious. I believe I got the salted caramel cinnamon bun latte and it was really good. For food on my first visit I got a bagel with cream cheese which is a simple item so I didn't want to judge too harshly but it seemed like a store bought Thomas bagel which was just eh. This time I got the avocado toast which was delicious. I also got a lemon poppy muffin which was super yummy.I felt a little bad because the girl at the register was super nice and friendly but mentioned it was her second day working there and must have accidentally placed the order as just regular toast so when my order came out it was just plain toast and we told the lady who served us that it was supposed to be avocado toast. So she did remake it but I felt bad that I didn't just take the plain toast although the avocado toast was much more impressive and worth coming back for.It had a fried egg, bacon and balsamic on it. The cashier said it also usually comes with sundried tomatoes but I asked for it without. The menu also just said avocado toast and doesn't say what else comes on it so I thought it was worth mentioning that I enjoyed that it had more on it.I will definitely come back and try more things here and do recommend it as a nice cozy spot to grab a coffee and a light breakfast. They also have ice cream so if I'm ever out that way later in the day I'll give the ice cream or lunch items a try.”
“My twin and I had our birthday dinner here. We had one waitress take care of our party of 15 and she did great! The food came out quickly. she checked on us frequently and made sure everyone had drink refills the whole time. The kids meals come in cute little cardboard cars, which my son loved! Definitely great service, especially for having such a large party.”
“We stopped here for the first time on a whim and seeing they got great reviews. We were not disappointed! Everything was delicious! Juicy burgers, wonderful pulled pork, and the meatloaf was delicious! The pickled eggs are made in-house and so good! Try a fry pie... yum!! The staff is also very friendly! We will definitely be back!”
“I am an import to this area, and I grew up surrounded the best Italian food options including my nonnas’ home cooking. JoJo’s makes me feel like home! From the food to owners, hands down best authentic Italian eatery in the area. Molto Bene!Vegetarian options: Veggie and Mushroom sub options. Mushrooms sub is delizioso.”
“I really enjoyed this place for dinner. I come here often for breakfast and it’s always pretty good. I love the service. The staff are nice and pleasant. It’s a place that kind of looks small and divey but I enjoy that type of ambiance.Just take note if you want chips with your burger you can’t order fries. Because they up charge 3.50. Even if you order a side of fries because you want the chips they won’t give it to you. I thinks that’s incredibly strange since you pay full price for a side.”
“Small hometown restaurant with great food and nice people. Definitely recommend! I had a BEC bagel and shared “silver dollar potatoes” (never heard of them before) with onions.”
“Stopped here after a concert at Penn state the night before and needed breakfast in the way to my hometown. This was 10 minutes off the highway, but it didn't matter because the food was delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, the avocado toast was also great. The town was definitely quiet and seemed abandoned but the cafe was cute.”
“We were last minute with no reservations and were seated right away. The food was good, nothing extraordinary, but nothing disappointed either. The food was a bit expensive for the level of quality, but no one left hungry or wanting.”
“Only came here for a caramel macchiato latte but it was one of the best I had. Creamy like no other and just lightly sweet like I like. The place was jamming. Wish I had more time to stay to eat!”
“I ordered stuffed shells with marinara sauce. My wife ordered a cheese steak sub and fries. Oddly enough, they brought her fries out a full 15 minutes before her sub and she decided to eat them while hot. Her sub did come out, but the amount of steak on the sub was all but laughable.I, on the other hand, had a great meal experience. The stuffed shells we're stuffed with cheese and swimming in a pleasant marinara sauce. The shells were served hot in a hot bowl. Delicious. My advice to OIP is to have servers ask if a customer wants a side before the actual meal.”
“Our food is always good and hot. It's a great place to meet up with friends and family. I would recommend the Haddock with fresh cut fries, hot roast beef sandwiche with fresh cut fries with gravy.”
“It has been quite a while since we were there last but he visit was very pleasant. They had run out of hot meatballs but had some in the back frozen. they could have made us order something else but instead took the time to defrost them and heat them up for us. they were also out of the cookies we wanted so they proceeded to make some to order. And after tonight's experience at the Newport location we will be driving the extra 18 miles for our next subway visit.”
“Stopped by this place for takeout late Saturday night after racing was cancelled at Port Royal Speedway. The food was excellent! Crispy fresh veggies, tender beef and yummy sauce in my Hunan Beef dish and the egg drop soup was also yummy. The decor at the restaurant is drab and old looking but I’m glad I was not deterred.”
“First time here. It's quaint, simple, affordable, and as comfortable as your own home. The family that owns this place are hard-working, blue-collar Americans. They are truly great people. I ordered The Fat Terry Burger, which consists of 4 beef patties, bacon, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Additionally, I ordered Fresh Cut French Fries.”
“A great pizza and Italian restaurant in the area. The food is always cooked just right and they have a lot of options from salads to pizza to subs and more. High recommend.”
“An Italian TREASURE in a farming community! Top ten "Best Italian restaurants" in my book. Homemade sub rolls, great flavors, plenty of parking (mid day) for a commercial vehicle like mine, super clean, and it's obvious someone takes pride in what they do. Would I drive a few hours just to eat at this place again?.... probably!”
“There have been several times I have stopped at this Burger King driving to and from Penn State University. I have never written a review of a fast food restaurant; that said this place stands out. It is clean, the people are friendly, the service is fast, and the food actually looks like it does in commercials. It's definitely a good place to stop if you want fast food.”
“It was my first time and I had the chicken Parmesan sub. It was super thick...they really load it up, so you'll get your money's worth. It was awesome!!”
“Three of us stopped for dinner. Surprisingly quiet on a Saturday night. The food was good. The only problem is that a salad that was ordered without chopped onions still had them. The server was excellent and attentive. The dining room had a nice feel to it. But the parking could use a little bit more lighting and maybe a bigger sign. Overall, it was a good experience and a good place to stop for a bite.”
“If you're in Newport and looking for a drink, this is the place. It's not pretty, but it is the epitome of a hole in the wall. Beware, they allow smoking but not vaping inside. Drinks were reasonably priced. Patrons and staff alike were friendly.Parking: It's best to park in town and just walk as there aren't really any parking options at the bar itself.”
“Opens at 2:00 - had a late lunch / early dinner with GF and her brother. Burgers, cheesesteak, Cesar salad all excellent. Worth a stop when near. Friendly locals if you sit at the bar. Chips on the side are home made, fried in beef tallow, made them exceptional.”
“The Deluxe Stromboli was undercooked and not much in for deluxe and mozzarella sticks, you cooked in the oven ?........3 years ago -->Very pleasant experience the employees are friendly. The food was good.”
“The moment you walk into Stan’s it gives you comfy and cozy vibes. The coffee is delicious but it’s really the baristas that make your experience here so great. Britney and Mary are so welcoming and engaging during your visit! Would recommend and will definitely be back!”
