“All of the food was really good and there was plenty in each container. My go to order at a new place is Singapore Mei fun, hot and sour soup and an egg roll and spring roll. The Singapore Mei fun is the best I’ve had in years outside of a couple places in Chester County and of course, downtown Philly. The egg and spring rolls were stuffed with nice fresh veggie ingredients and were cooked perfectly. The hot and sour soup had plenty of vegetables and tofu, and was just spicy enough! I’ve lived in Berks County for the past 11 years and this is the first place that I can say makes really good Chinese food. I just moved into this part of the county in November and I am very happy having found this place! Kudos to the owners and chef!“

“Loved this place! We did takeout & I don't even remember if they had seating because the aromas really distracted us. Had chicken fried rice, egg drop soup & chicken & broccoli. Really, everything was excellent! Lots of chicken in the fried rice (which was packed to overflowing in the container). Chicken in the broccoli dish was VERY tender! Will absolutely be back!“

“My go to for take out food. Even when busy, the food is ready in 30 minutes or less. The portions are generous especially for the prices in comparison to everything else out there. I have ordered from them numerous times in the food is consistent. Is it find dining, no. But it is very good take out Chinese food.

My only gripe is that they do not have a website where their menu is easily accessible for take out orders. The Google photos are ones taken from people's cell phone and are difficult to see. As such, I attached some photos that a higher resolution and more clear in hopes that it could help people out. Naturally, the prices may change but at least an interested customer could see what items they have on her menu to call in an order. Trust me, you will not be let down.“

“I typically from here through door dash. So the only rating I can give is on the food. I'm a creature of habit and get the same exact thing every time. Beef and broccoli we pfr, egg roll and crab Rangoon. Everything is very tasty. Eggrolls are a bit bigger than what you get elsewhere which I love. Rangoons are pretty standard. They're a little skimpy with the beef. The only thing I'm kind of iffy about is the pfr.... There's a different taste that I can't put my finger on. Chinese 5 spice maybe? You can definitely taste the clove which I don't hate.

“Best Chinese food in Oley and surrounding areas! Chicken is always tender and not chewy, their egg rolls are just perfect and we love their lo mein. I always get frustrated when some restaurants just add in a bunch of broccoli stems in their food and Hong Kong has a good mix of all veggies in their meals. We go here frequently. Definitely recommend!“

“Been going here for years, almost all of the low reviews are from people who had one bad experience and cried about it. It’s a small family business that is willing to do what they can to serve you great Chinese food. I’ve had a fish or two that wasn’t right, but they corrected it with no issue. “I used to live in Kutztown for school and this place is what made me love Chinese food again. You got a HUGE portion for dirt cheap with a student discount, I usually got two or three meals out of one order. I have tried so many places since I graduated and not a single one has even come CLOSE to having orange chicken as good as this place. It genuinely ruined orange chicken for me as I'm always disappointed everywhere else I go that it isn't theirs. The staff was very friendly too. I saw previous reviews and believe they may have changed management or something because we were very surprised how good it was for the price.
