“Hometown is me and my families happy place! I literally do not enjoy other ice cream because nothing comes close to comparing to what Hometown creates! We go twice a week sometimes more in the spring and summer and at least once a week during the winter. We love the staff and the small town feel. It is the best place around and our go to- always!“

“Always loved their ice cream. It's so good. Many styles to choose from . Shakes , hard ice cream and soft, ice cream sundaes. Etc. I had the best cone ever too. With chocolate covering it and sprinkles and chose 2 different hard ice creams for it. Moosetracks and Cookie dough. With chocolate syrup and sprinkles. It was delicious. Highly recommend them. Especially for their great choices and yummy ice cream. It's a great place to stop at in any day for a good cold yummy snack. Try it out sometime. You'd enjoy it.“
“My hubby and I decided to take our family for ice cream, (4 adults and 4 grandbabies) after our visit to the Philly Zoo. The associates working there today (7/29/24 @ 4:45pm) were absolutely wonderful. They were patient and kind, took everyone's order perfectly. “We visited last Sunday, my first time back in over 20 years. It was just how I remembered it - good portions, cozy environment, fantastic dessert. Service was quick and friendly. “So cool bus was such a hit at my daughters 3rd birthday party! They were so good with my daughter and she loved taking orders from her friends and they had a great selection! Reasonably priced as well! Would for sure use them again!“

“Listen… I was on a noble quest for King Kone, the so-called “ice cream royalty.” But when I pulled up and saw the line wrapping around the block like it was the Taylor Swift Eras Tour, I said: nah fam. Ain’t no scoop on planet Earth worth aging a whole presidential term in line. So I yeeted myself across the street into this mysterious little spot called Just Chill Creamery.
At first, I thought I was walking into an abandoned blockbuster. Place was EMPTY. I legit had a Scooby-Doo moment like, “Did I just trespass? Did they forget to flip the ‘open’ sign? Am I about to get haunted by a ghost that screams about lactose intolerance?”
But NO. Two absolute legends were behind the counter—friendly, smiling, ready to scoop my soul back to happiness. And then I saw it: Hershey’s ice cream. Now, listen. Some people clutch pearls at that. Me? I straight up salute. Birthday cake? Cotton candy? That’s not ice cream, that’s emotional support therapy disguised in a cone.
Prices? CHEF’S KISS. I ordered a “kid size” thinking I’d get a thimble of sadness. Nope. One glorious chunky scoop, enough to remind me why childhood obesity rates exist.
But THEN. Oh-ho-ho THEN. They pointed me toward the back. A secret lair. Another whole seating area—like Willy Wonka’s Airbnb. Funky chairs, bright tables, PINBALL MACHINES. My jaw dropped. Why is nobody talking about this place? Where are the crowds? The influencers? The TikTok dances? I was basically living in an undiscovered ice cream utopia while the peasants were still lined up at King Kone getting heatstroke in a parking lot.
So here’s the deal: if you roll up to King Kone and see a line that looks like you’re about to enter Disney World, do yourself a favor. Cross the street. Enter the void. Find Just Chill Creamery. Is it Michelin-star gelato flown in from Italy? No. But is it good? YES. Is it fast? YES. Is it secretly awesome? ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY.“

“This Rita’s is hands-down the best in the area. Open year-round, it’s a go-to spot no matter the season. There’s indoor seating for chillier days and an awesome outdoor area with shaded tables—perfect for enjoying a treat in the sun.
The flavored custard options are fantastic (seriously, try them!), and there’s always plenty of parking—so convenient. I’ve never had to wait in a long line, which is a huge plus when you’ve got eager kids in tow. The staff are also awesome with kids, they're always willing to add sprinkles to my kid’s water ice—even though it’s not the norm.“
“We use Angels on Wheels for my daughters 6th birthday and it was such an awesome experience! My daughter was even able to go onto the truck and serve her family and friends ice cream! “Poke Kai is a fantastic place for Bubble Tea. They have a huge variety at reasonable prices. The staff is absolutely great!! If you never tried Bubble Tea, stop by Poke Kai. I am sure after trying it once, you’ll be a frequent customer.“

“It’s nice to be able to still live in an area that has a location! It’s clear that management works their tails off to ensure the restaurant is still in operation with excellent food safety and customer service practices. Despite this, I hadn’t been in a while but since I was at the Velodrome, I decided to stop and get a Sundae. I felt like a kid all over again. The Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Sundae is every bit as good as I remembered. The peanut butter sauce is fantastic. I wish they sold in jars but if they did there would be no reason to go to Friendly’s so I get why they don’t. It was also great to get it for free for being a rewards member.“
