“I grew up in the valley, but no longer live here, and Parrish Family Deli was on my list of places I wanted to visit while I was in town. I was hoping that I wasn't just holding on to a memory from 30 years ago that the food was good... You know how things just always seemed better and bigger when you were little? Well, that is NOT the case here. I got a Super Sub... it was huge, and nearly half the price of what I'm used to paying in Georgia. Eat here... Support Local... Sayre is a wonderful small town. ♥ Thanks for being as awesome as I remembered.”

“Went to Oliver's for the first time from a locals recommendation. It was a great experience all around. We were sat down quickly and your waitress was out quick to greet us and ask about drinks. The food was awesome everything we ordered was great. Had the Pickle fries and crab stuff mushrooms for an app. They were both excellent the housemade dill sauce was yummy with the pickles. For dinner I had the special Lemon garlic Mahi Mahi the fish was cooked perfect and delicious. Wish I had room for dessert because they looked delicious. Are waitress Kia was great and the owner came out to say hello to us was super nice. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be back for sure.”

The food is delicious and there’s a big selection of items and lots of meats which is surprising because it’s all you can eat and for less than $10, quite frankly I don’t know how they do it. They also have a lot of desserts and delicious tea which tastes great as well. The restaurant is clean, the staff is nice and the atmosphere is better than I expected. There’s no other place that comes close in this price range, it’s unbelievable they can provide this at this price. Five stars”

“My wife and I greatly enjoy BBQ here. We have had many of the BBQ items on the menu. Brisket, Cajun sausage, BBQ chicken, BBQ pork, burnt ends, ribs, chili. We enjoy their sides as well. The food is great and I recommend them for that. My only suggestion to the owners, is the wait staff isn't always on par. Sometimes it is great, sometimes it is not. You often have to wait before someone helps you, maybe have someone seat customers instead of self service. Getting refills on beverages is also difficult. If you are looking for good BBQ in the area, go here, you will not be disappointed in the food!”

“My son and his family stopped in on our way home. We had to wait until a fresh batch of sub rolls came out of the oven. Everything smells great. We got the warm, right out of the oven, batch of rolls and couldn't help sharing with everyone of the three children and my son and daughter-in-law. What a wonderful experience. “I’m an out of towner. I have a cabin in the area and visit monthly. Came to meet some locals I know who were here for the night. But for me, It’s A nice place. Clean, rowdy, prices are reasonable (at least compared to where I live). Service was good. I don’t really know who the bartender was (some say she was the owner or married to the owner) but she was fast, and with it. Was a pretty busy night and I didn’t have to wait long to get a drink. This is the last bar in Towanda I ventured into and it was the best. I’ll have to come back next time I’m in the area.”
