“This was literally the BEST Nigerian food I’ve ever had, hands down! I got the red snapper with jollof rice and plantains, and everything was amazing. I have never had rice that flavorful—it was seasoned to perfection! Even the peppers on top of the rice were so well seasoned.

I didn’t get the name of the lady who greeted me, but she was so warm, welcoming, and friendly. Her service was exceptional, and the food was even better!

If you’re in the area, you should definitely stop in. It was absolutely worth it! Thank you for the amazing service and VERY yummy food! I will definitely be back!“

“My first time eating here . Love the decor very small restaurant only one person to server and cook. The soup with fufu was flavorful , and spicy like I love. Big portions for the price. That was the plus of the restaurant The problem was that they were out of quite a few things I wanted to order with my meal. And I told my family to come purchase some food from here. They told me they order the chicken dinner and didn't get the other items that were supposed to be included with the chicken dinner. But they were still charging the same price instead of at a discount price because it wasn't a full meal as advertised. Now they are upset with me for suggesting this restaurant that cheated them. I'm appalled at why they did that?“

“Even after they changed locations (right next door) Food prices are reasonable considering the size of their dishes. I love their lamb and rice platters, for $22 depending on who you are you'll have enough food to feed yourself and others if you want. Great place for something to eat that's not your everyday fast food..“

“Delicious, hardy and tasty. A bit spicy too. Didn't know what to do with the fufu (cassava) and they were so nice explaining it all. The eggplant stew had lots of meat. I swapped it for fish. They have us free plantains too. Really great meal and wonderfulllll.“

Otherwise, I get the lamb, plantains, and Jollof rice. Also, the potatoe greens are good. Wish they had a seafood one, but they make do.“

“I love this place. If you are ever in philly you must try this Ghanian spot! If you like spicy this is the place. If you like rice get the jollof! My favorite is light soup with fufu. The peanut litter soup is bomb! Matter fact just eat everything. Only come if you have time to enjoy. Service is not typical of most American dinner time standards. Call ahead to ensure they are open that weekend! I wish they delivered via an app. But still worth going for the experience.“

Kid-friendliness: My son has milk allergy and I was able to get the Caribbean J*** rice lettuce tomato and the side dish of beans and something else and it was like under $25 and we got Mexican soda and a dessert we shared the Mexican soda but he couldn't have the dessert cuz it wasn't dairy free the whole family was able to share the largest dish so it was enough for the whole family“
