“If you get an opportunity, you must give Monahans a chance. My favorite cheesesteaks, even a chicken cheesesteak with fried onions, sweet peppers, and bacon, it will have you talking to it, lol. There are plenty of spirits to choose from, and the beer is always cold. Some vegetarian options. Delish apps and the app pretzel with their honey mustard is phenomenal. Safe, comfortable, clean, and great people. Non-smoking, but you can on their outdoor patio, which is heated during colder weather. TV's everywhere.“
“This is clearly a local watering hole. Wasn't very crowded for a weekday lunch, but food was good and service was prompt. The only thing I personally didn't like was the menu seemed a little limited, but that's a personality thing.“
“Bonners is a great place for the entire family. Yes it’s true in the evening it’s also a great place for college parties which often happen and that’s a great thing too. But in the early evenings and other times it’s a great family oriented restaurant and bar. When you go there they make you feel as if you’re part of some thing. Food is good everything from basic pub fare like fish and chips and shepherds pie, hamburgers etc. They’ll make you whatever drinks you like! If you’re in the area of 23rd and Sansom and you’re looking for a neighborhood establishment this is a great choice!“
“A warm Irish ☘️ welcome on a cold, wet winters day - thats just what the doctor ordered. Well that, and beautiful slow poured pints ? of Guinness, fries ? and a burger ?. Stop by when you’re in the neighborhood. Black Taxi pours their pints proper (just ranked one of the top places to get a black, bold and beautiful pint ? or two. Slainte!“
“I always had a good time here, all the bartenders were great. Years ago I even got free drinks for escorting a drunk guy out that was harassing somebody when they didn't have a bouncer that night. I never tried the food but it's definitely a great place.“
“Sorry for the dramatics in advance, but it is seldom that I can truly give a restaurant 5 stars for food alone. This pub is always a joy to visit for the ambiance, service, blah blah blah, but the bangers and mash here are something worth raving about. The perfect balance of umami, acidity, and the flavors of herbs… it is just superb. Not to mention they make a strong cocktail ? 5 STARS“
“I actually do not usually do restaurant reviews, but was so please with Con Murphy that I felt like I had to share. I feel like there are many restaurants in Philly, and this one deserves more attention. We were day-tripping Philly and enjoy seeking out the local Irish pubs. We were charmed by the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere! It was noisy and small, in a fun and happy way. The TWO bars were well-stocked. We came with the family and everyone was pleased. We started with the Parmesan Truffle French Fries and they were exemplary especially paired with the Aeoli. The blackened Grouper sandwich was "sublime" according to my son who works at a restaurant! My daughter didn't prefer the crust thinness of the flatbread, but enjoyed the potatoe soup. The Irish fare was well done. My son ordered the shepard's pie and my husband and I both ordered the beef stew. I am picky of "Irish Food" bc so many places do not give it the attention it deserves, but everything was prepared beautifully. If you like very rich, decadent broths and hearty, meaty portions, then the stew is for you. The bread it was served with was unbelievably flavorful and had a tender center and crusty exterior. The stew tasted like it had slow-cooked for hours and did not dissapoint. I ordered the "Tullamore Gold" cocktail and it was a tad sweet, but flavorful. I wish I had paired a red wine or whisky with the stew. My husband had a canned apple cider which was tasty.“
“We hosted a birthday party upstairs at Sligo and it was the best, easiest thing ever. Jennifer took excellent care of us throughout the process, from planning to the event itself. The food might have been the best buffet food I've tasted, there was plenty to go around, the cost was reasonable and we would totally do it again.“
“We held a surprise 60th bday party for our husbands (June 2023). The owner and event planner (Maureen) couldn’t have done more to accommodate us. They bent over backwards to make it a relaxed time. Their hospitality and decor was top notch. ??“
“Was here for dinner last night. Our very nice server recommended the Caesar salad w/hanger steak and it was excellent. The Guinness was poured perfectly. My friend enjoyed his French Dip sandwich and he is not easily pleased. There are ample TVs to watch the games and there was a full crowd of patrons and a good vibe.“
“Rather impressed and slightly intimidated by the crowd at Leftys. It's a clean and traditional joint with a large horshoe bar with nearly 30 seats surrounding a labyrinth of tables and chairs. Probably 30-40 people there on a Sunday afternoon.“
“We really enjoyed ourselves! Great music, Amazing food, and the prices DON'T cause a panic attack when the check comes!! Lol ?. Hanrahan's is definitely on our list of favorite local pubs!! I recommend anyone looking for an affordable night out, which is hard to find these days, to put Hanrahan's Irish Pub on your list!!??“

“What an amazing bar. As soon as you walk in you feel like you’re in a clean, awesome environment. The overall atmosphere is a modern nice looking esthetic. The bartenders and servers are always so nice and kind. The food is absolutely amazing, and unlike most bars and restaurants, they change their menu up to keep you wanting to come back to try new food items. Lastly, the beer, or in my case, the twisted teas are always ice cold! Highly recommend taking a visit here next time you plan a night out on the town!“
“Tonight I went in the kitchen was closed but the bartender recommended a place for food near by I ate and came back just to get drinks from him his personality was top tier and when I came back for drinks he was super friendly and professional made great virgin drinks for my friend and made great alcoholic beverages for myself. The bartender name was Chris I recommend you ask for him when you go there. He was nice to all the customers I seen him interact with. I’ll definitely be back“
“Tir na nog located on 16th street next to Suburban Station. I had the best time here that you can imagine on St. PATRICK'S DAY. All the bartenders were faboulous!!! They were friendly hospitalable quick serving and entertaining. Can't wait to go back and have a great time again. I had Irish breakfast which was pretty good. The prices are reasonable nowadays. English soccer games at their best!! Plenty of TVs.“
“We were here on Easter for lunch with family. This was our first visit to Brittingham's. Our hostess and waitress were pleasant, professional and very attentive. Our adult beverages were great as well as our food which was delicious! Looking forward to returning in the near future!“
“My waitress Kathy on 2/18/2024 is what made this a 5 star rating across the board. She had several tables, but took the time to give some extra care to a table with a mom traveling with two small children. Meanwhile still managed to give a smile an excellent service to myself and 7 other tables. Overall outstanding customer service and Kathy was the driving force behind that.“
“One of my favourite happy hour and brunch spot in Philly! The menu has so many good options, can’t go wrong with any food or drinks! The quality and flavour is so good, and the service is always on point. Definitely one of the best restaurants/bars in Philly!“
“I went in with a colleague for a quick bite for lunch. The service was very quick and the food was good. The prices were amazing. We both had cheesesteaks and sodas. The cheesesteaks were fresh and the prices were great. I will definitely come back as there were a lot of choices on the menu I would eat. The is a good old fashioned pub with comfort food. Large portions at a fair price.“
