Of course they are known for their chocolate chip cookies but every cookie they sell is top notch. We had an assortment of them at our wedding and people still rave about them. The donuts are also the best around, but only available Mondays and Fridays! They are always trying new flavors and we are never disappointed. The owner and staff are all so friendly and genuinely seem happy to be there and serve the community. They only take but there is an ATM so there's nothing stopping you from trying this place!“

“Amy's has the best mille crepe! We got a whole pistachio cake when visiting friends and it was gone before I could take a photo. There are more layers in the cake than what most other shops offer, and more favor options too. You can tell the quality ingredients and the cake is not overly sweet. I would visit next time in town!“

“Absolutely delicious! What made it extra special is that they partner with Robert Morris University. At the start of the semester, RMU sent an email about signing up for their birthday club to possibly win a cake! I feel so lucky, and the owners were such amazing, lovely people. We brought this cake to a friends house for soup cook-off. Although we were voting for our favorite soup, everyone agreed the lemon cake was the true winner - there were no leftovers! So I took that and caught “heck” from my friend because it wasn’t what she asked for. I explained that they didn’t have any so she called and was told yes we have 3 turtle cheesecakes. We were there specifically for the donuts! They had a nice variety-some regular choices and then some specialty ones. We bought a dozen, and they did not disappoint! “Traveling through the South Hills area craving sweets, this little bakery is for you! We were visiting family and stopped in for a few sweets. The variety was amazing and all were delicious. They also had an assortment of breads, rolls, cakes and pierogies. We will definitely drop by next time we are in town.“

The day before Thanksgiving the punishes store open hour is 7 am. The bakery is not open. No Facebook update no website update. My family has supported this bakery over 50 years. We have seen changes over the years and we have rolled with other issues this bakery has, but today very poor handling of store hours by the business is the straw that breaks the camels back. I no longer trust this business and will no longer support this business.“
