“My son and daughter-in-law got married this past weekend Nov.1. we had catering fom Julianos. From start to finish Roseanne and Nick were absolutely 100% amazing! Roseanne helped me tweak the menu, made suggestions and answered any questions I had. The brides choices were tortellini Alfredo, chicken parm, meatballs, stuffed shells, and pasta with salad and rolls.The food was delivered on time..the delivery driver was great!.He went over the order and made sure it was all there. The food was delicious! we got so many compliments from guests! it was such a wonderful day and I would recommend Julianos 10/10 for catering your special day! (and any day for dinner too!) Pasta was cold, filet not prepared correctly then given back to me burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. We were so very disappointed. $200 wasted and I walked away hungry. At the start of the semester, RMU sent an email about signing up for their birthday club to possibly win a cake! I feel so lucky, and the owners were such amazing, lovely people. We brought this cake to a friends house for soup cook-off. Although we were voting for our favorite soup, everyone agreed the lemon cake was the true winner - there were no leftovers! On Sunday they have a meaty soup that is reserved for Sunday & which reminded me of when I lived in Nicaragua for two months, many years ago, with a family. Lamb chops and Kabobs , Salad, Grape leaves ,Falafel, Humus, Lebanese Rice, Baklava and the best Rice pudding! A lot of food but we shared as there were 4 in our party. We all agreed that we would be back and try some of the other flavorful entrees they offer. The waitress, I assumed is co-owner, was very pleasant and helpful and willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Not a fancy place but the food more than makes up for it. A must try!“

“This is our favorite Alddin’s location in Pittsburgh. The food is always delicious; kibbe, beef kafta rolls, Aladdin’s favorite combo, and baba gannouj are our usual picks. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s easy for us to get to and has a parking garage across the street for easy parking. We have made friends with some of the staff and always love dining in. “MY friend and I went there on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays..Our server Adam was simply amazing. He patiently waited for us to decide on our drink order and went as far as to let us try the drink to see if we liked it, which we didn’t but he took it off our bill and then brought us a birthday card and wished us a happy birthday. The food was very delicious. But our main complaint comes down to Adam !! He was so fantastic and such a kind person . They truly have a rare gem in him as an employee! I hope they appreciate him because he is what makes it a truly wonderful experience there. We will definitely go back there and if we are lucky Adam will be our server.!!!“

Jordan went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect! The food was hot even though the service went an hour longer than I expected, (we were blessed to have an amazing mom)! I would highly recommend Al's Cafe and Jordan!!!!“

To accompany the sin, the Pious Monk Dunkel beer fully lived up to high expectations. That night the staff was glaringly short-handed, but Nicole multiplied herself and took fantastic care of us. They accept card payments, though they nail you with a 2.75% fee for the privilege.“
