“I ordered through Grubhub and got delivery promptly. I had ordered a salad and a brownie, but they had forgotten the brownie. I also noticed that there wasn’t chicken on my salad—I checked my order and realized that instead of ordering extra chicken, I had omitted it from the salad. Completely my mistake. I did call about the brownie—the manager, Mike, immediately took responsibility for the missing brownie. Within 15 minutes, Mike arrived at my work with not only a brownie but a new salad with double chicken. This is amazing service!! And certainly above and beyond my expectations. I understand from other reviews that Mike is the new manager—IMHO he is doing a great job!“

Verona is still an excellent spot. If I absolutely need a long hot pepper cheesesteak, I'll go to Del Rossi's in Philly. Alex Prost helped me from the beginning of this process to the end. He was friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. He went out of his way to correct an issue with our order and I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that. The food was delicious and my party had a wonderful time! “A lowkey spot but great food and very clean. We so happened to stumble upon it and we were genuinely pleased from the 1st bite. We over heard someone picking up take out say that it was the best sushi he’s had and it was true. The price was great too. One plate of fried rice was enough to satisfy 2 people and then had about 18 pieces of sushi in total. Once finished, it didn’t make you feel sluggish and gross after eating. Great to see an owner who truly cares about their craft and customers. We’ll be back!“

I do think it’s silly they don’t take cash tips, they should have a little tip container i paid for my order cash and couldn’t leave a tip.

I am a fussy Italian cook, and I will say that the Pappardelle Bolognese was the best I ever had!!! Menu is extensive and can't wait to go back! I was greeted with a big smile by Theresa. She was so kind to listen to my Generation Y banter and make my seasonal white sweet potato bowl. I especially appreciated Theresa’s custom recipe and guidance, something out of my norm Harissa Chicken Avocado bowl.

I thoroughly enjoyed the white sweet potato and lamb combo with the fig dressing, definitely a banger. Another favorite would be the cucumber lime juice. Kudos to CAVA, looks like the fountain drink options have expanded, I’m a fan.
