House Manager monitoring the floor speaks of days gone by…unfortunately. A “Fine Dining” establishment should necessarily have such a person present. Food: Good to Very Good. Service: Exceptional on 5/8/25 (Carey ?). Noise Level: Deafening due to vaulted ceiling and tables being so close together. Lacks privacy. You’re part of your neighbor’s conversation whether you want to be…or not. Overall: By far one of, if not The Best Restaurant in the area. If only they could work on the acoustics. “My family and I ate at this amazing restaurant! We happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. We were greeted nicely, the service was good and the food was delicious! We even met Richard who took the time to graciously explain the history and origin of the restaurant/ menu. The atmosphere was inviting and rich with culture. I would totally recommend Samarkand! If you are ready for a new and unique dinning experience this is the place for you!”

“Went last night with two friends for my birthday! I think our chef said his name was Gino! He was great and our waitress and the food was great! My only complaint was that the music was blaring so, we couldn't hear what anyone was saying and we really could even talk to each other!!! It took away from the experience since our chef was saying things that we couldn't hear. I did ask three different staff members if they could lower it to no avail. We don't think we will go back there again! We had to keep asking our waitress to repeat herself and that got to be exhsusting😣”

“If you’re searching for the perfect bridal shower location, look no further than La Stalla. The venue is absolutely stunning, and the food is phenomenal, yet these two things do not hold a candle to the service. The staff was polite and beyond attentive—they circled the dining room for the entirety of our event ensuring each of our guests had everything and anything they needed. Not one person had to ask for a drink refill, and it’s safe to say that all expectations were exceeded. Our guests were blown away by this venue and they truly made my sister’s bridal shower unforgettable 🩵”

I can't say that we have ventured too far through the menu as of yet, but that is because what we keep ordering is so exceptionally good. The margarita pizza is simple but perfect, the carpinone pizza is even better.”

“Saw a sign for croissants on the sidewalk at 203 South State Street, Newtown, PA. I quickly turned into the parking lot remembering I have been wanting to stop in to this shop. OMG!!! No disappointment here. As I walked up to the front door, you could smell the deliciousness seeping through the openings. This will be my first stop in on Sundays in the future. I will need to try everything listed on the menu. WOW! Thank you for being different from the ordinary.”
