“I ordered lunch for my family, for take out. One item was loaded potato puffs. They came with a very small drizzle of sour cream and a few small pieces of bacon. most were dry and plain. Very frustrating as this was my husbands only food he ordered and will be eating 😔“

“Went in early Saturday night with a larger group of friends. They directed us to the small bar on the right of the entrance and we had a fantastic time. The service was great, our bartender was friendly and efficient. The drinks were DELICIOUS! My friends commented it was one of the best espresso martinis they’ve ever had!“

“We absolutely love the Westgate Pub. We recently had my daughter's first holy communion party in their private room and it was spectacular. Our server was great, the food was delicious, and the party decor and planning was beautiful and out of this world. Sue goes above and beyond with her decorations at Westgate. “I have been eating Hykel's hoagies for over 60 years and like to consider myself somewhat of an authority on the subject- I just had one today while watching the Eagles game. Pretty incredible to hold it together for that long! Order an American Hoagie- trust me on this - the perfect blend of meats and cheese, lettuce tomatoes and chopped onions, on a Conshy bakery roll. Still the one I compare to when testing any other hoagie . Regarding the score- I go to Hykels for a hoagie, I don't care about the atmosphere or service, not that it's bad, it's just not why someone would go to Hykel's Bar.“

“The restaurant definitely deserves its own review! The staff are fantastic and super personable. My wife and I were here for 31 days in April/May of 2022, and we had breakfast here almost every morning. We try to stay all-natural with food, and they were willing to work with us. We provided an organic Olive Oil spray, and they would use that on our omelets. They never made us feel like a hassle or burden, and we loved getting to know them, especially Rhonda and Trupti! At times they had nice Chobani Yogurt, and they always had great apple/orange juice options. They also had Franks hot sauce and cream cheese packs that were SOOOO GOOD on the omelets :)Can't wait to go back and enjoy the food and friends again!“

“We were traveling 4 generations deep following the San Diego Padres on an east coast trip. We did all the research we could on a nice B&B, with proximity to a bar and the stadium and we ended up a block away from this place. The neighborhoods vibe was safe and friendly, and the people inside this particular bar were cool and classy without a doubt. Shot out to the cool Martin who didn’t disappoint with anything he made. We shall return.“

We had about a half hour wait which was fine. I don't think that diners in this restaurant realize how loud they are ... We were in a room off of the bar area & could hear a whole conversation from one of the high topped tables... When we were finally seated, we were ushered to a booth - the last booth in the bar area ... The patrons at the bar were LOUD which I mentioned to the waitress as we sat down... Her off handed comment was, they have been here a long time, they would be leaving soon ... Well - that didn't happen ... The loud woman at the bar & her friends were still there when we left ... It wasn't a relaxing dinner... Our food was fine... My husband had the blackened chicken sandwich and I had the crab cake ... If you decide to go here for a meal , call ahead for a reservation and ask not to sit in the bar area.“

“The cx service I experience was excellent. The young man was friendly and served us attentively. I got salmon dish with a fancy rice with a bit of broccoli. I enjoyed everything except for the broccoli which was really salty. I pointed that out to my waiter and he spare no time to empathize and apologize (but no replacement was offered). We all enjoyed our meals for the most part though. The atmosphere has a cosy vibe and really a pleasant chill spot to eat and vibe with fam or friends.“
