“On Wednesday, August 27, in the midst of one of the most difficult days of my life as I coordinated hospice care for my father, I stopped at La Playa Bowls to find some nourishment. I hadn’t eaten all day, and what I received was far more than just a meal.

I was blessed with the healthy refreshment of fresh ingredients, lovingly customized just for me, and even more so, with the kindness and light of an AMAZING manager—Dawn. Your compassion, generosity, and gracious spirit lifted me in a way that words can hardly capture. You didn’t just provide outstanding customer service—you shared your heart.

I ordered a kid’s strawberry banana smoothie, a kids carrot mango kids smoothie, and a Ginger smoothie. 😋You can see the ingredients are REAL fruits and vegetables that are cut right in front of you‼️ All were very good, and a generous amount. “This is my favorite place for smoothies, but unfortunately the service is awful. The blonde girl who isn’t there anymore was always super kind and friendly, along with another taller girl. The other girl (typically in pajama pants), is insanely rude and does not belong in customer service. She won’t even acknowledge you and when she does, she doesn’t say hello - she just rolls her eyes like she’s mad that she has to do her job. It’s unfortunate because I love the smoothies here, but it’s so uncomfortable walking into an establishment to pick up your order, and get eyes rolled at you. Other people also experience this so I know it’s not just me.“

“Can’t believe I forgot this one!! My fam went here when it was new. We used to live in Media and every now and then we visit just to feel normal again!!! This joint was cool, they have an upstairs and a little outside deck thing! Coffee was good! Daughter had some croissant thing if I remember correctly and she loved it!! The very nice cashier told us our daughter got big and I clutched my baby like it was the last Renzulli barber pole!!!! Here, it was the sister of a girl that dated my baby nephew Billy!!! I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the Tropical Smoothie location in Media, Pennsylvania, several times over the past few months, and each visit has been a delightful experience.

First and foremost, the staff here are exceptional. They are not only polite but also genuinely knowledgeable about the wide range of products they offer. It’s clear that they take pride in what they do, and their enthusiasm for the menu makes the experience even more enjoyable.

“Whenever I visit my family in Media, daily visits to KFT are a must!! I’ve been a faithful KFT customer since it has opened in Media. I’ve had many bubble teas from many different places and nothing has topped KFT yet. The milk teas are my go-to. The tea is always super strong and rich and the boba always fresh and cooked to perfection. Love that they’ve added Vietnamese food to the menu— especially the banh mi and now with an option for pate! Everything is a little on the pricey side, but that’s yet deterred me coming back again and again.

The only “negative” I have to share is that I think they need to improve how they prioritize orders, especially mobile orders. I’ve often had to wait quite a long time for mobile orders to be completed, whether for food or for drinks.

I’m not sure the manager’s name (assuming he’s the manager), but he is very nice and always seems to recognize me when I come in even when I’m only in maybe once a month or so.“

“Somehow forgot to review this joint…so here it goes! Had the Greek toast and it was fabulous! It wasn’t a huge portion being that I’m a man but I hammered that toast like it was John Stamos!!! It was served on a wood cutting board which was cool but some of the toppings kept falling off and onto the table! I would have ate the pieces that fell on the table but I have a wood allergy!! My daughter got a bowl but I don’t remember which one! That was delicious too because I ended up eating most of that(she didn’t like it)!! I went home and did the treadmill…blood tests always say pre diabetic 🤷🏾. The coffee was delicious as well!! Have to give a huge shout out to the granola they have!!!!!! It was in my daughter’s bowl and it was the best granola ever!!!! We ate outside which was very nice and the one couple had their dog with them!!! I looked at that dog and said Hey Dog O, heheheee!!!! The whole Ellis Preserve is a great spot and Toastique is a must visit!!!!“

“I have been eating here every Sunday for several years. And then I shop. Everything tastes great, everything is organic, mostly wholegrain and it is 95% vegan and is an amazing bargain! Jammed Yam (sweet potato with quinoa, black beans, pineapple, mixed peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, avocado) has been my go to for a while now, but I do get other entrees from time to time. There is always a special and a soup and if you get there early you might be able to get one or two of their $.99 vegan wholegrain muffins. Yes, you can mix and match any ingredients or pay $.75 to get extra. I also get a kombucha refill in my growler.“

We ordered the 5 pcs chicken tender combo and the spicy chicken sandwich. Both were decent for what it was. They had a lot of special sauces for the chicken. Cool little drink place to hang out with friends and they even have free wifi if you need to get some work done.“

“Got the family meal, which is an incredible deal to begin with (five burgers and six fries for around $40) and I had a special request of bacon on three of them. I offered to pay extra for the bacon as it should be an upcharge and the manager/owner declined my money. They got our food out super fast and I’ve truly never had a bad order. I’m very picky about my chicken ceasar wraps, and the crispy wrap is perfect every time. The whole m2o team is always really nice and talks to us while we wait (IF we have to wait), it’s a great place to come and sit to eat or to take home and enjoy. My first go-to whenever I’m craving a burger around Wynnewood!“

“Amazing tea store. The store is bright, impeccably clean, and so zen. The teas and coffee are so fresh and delicious. We tried the pearl milk tea, dark lemon coffee, and strawberry fruit sherbet. They are amazing. The bobas are fresh and chewy. The prices are surprisingly reasonable. The owner is so kind and friendly. There is a public parking lot right next to the store which is so convenient. We will definitely come back!“
