Jenny Smoothie in Roxborough is absolutely amazing. I’ve been coming to Jenny since she first started years ago back when she was running the food truck, and it’s been incredible to watch her grow into what she has built today.

The owner is genuinely one of the best people—great personality, amazing energy and aura, and you can tell she puts real love into everything she makes. The customer service is always on point, and she actually remembers me every time I come in, which makes it feel personal and welcoming every visit.

Everything is made with care and you can taste the love in it every single time. She truly deserves all the success coming her way and more. I’m so proud of how far she’s come and can’t wait to see what she does next.

Walking in, everything was very nicely laid out and the entry space had a large mirror and cute graphics on the wall along with well-designed merchandise. “Absolutely fantastic experience! The espresso martinis were some of the best I've had—perfectly balanced, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink.

I also ordered the Parmesan chicken wings with a side of hot sauce, and they were outstanding. The wings were incredibly juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and the Parmesan seasoning was packed with flavor. Dipping them in the hot sauce took them to another level. I'm a huge wing fan, and these are definitely some of the better wings I've had.

“Whenever I visit my family in Media, daily visits to KFT are a must!! I’ve been a faithful KFT customer since it has opened in Media. I’ve had many bubble teas from many different places and nothing has topped KFT yet. The milk teas are my go-to. The tea is always super strong and rich and the boba always fresh and cooked to perfection. Love that they’ve added Vietnamese food to the menu— especially the banh mi and now with an option for pate! Everything is a little on the pricey side, but that’s yet deterred me coming back again and again.

The only “negative” I have to share is that I think they need to improve how they prioritize orders, especially mobile orders. I’ve often had to wait quite a long time for mobile orders to be completed, whether for food or for drinks.

I’m not sure the manager’s name (assuming he’s the manager), but he is very nice and always seems to recognize me when I come in even when I’m only in maybe once a month or so.“

“Somehow forgot to review this joint…so here it goes! Had the Greek toast and it was fabulous! It wasn’t a huge portion being that I’m a man but I hammered that toast like it was John Stamos!!! It was served on a wood cutting board which was cool but some of the toppings kept falling off and onto the table! I would have ate the pieces that fell on the table but I have a wood allergy!! My daughter got a bowl but I don’t remember which one! That was delicious too because I ended up eating most of that(she didn’t like it)!! I went home and did the treadmill…blood tests always say pre diabetic 🤷🏾. The coffee was delicious as well!! Have to give a huge shout out to the granola they have!!!!!! “This is my favorite place for smoothies, but unfortunately the service is awful. The blonde girl who isn’t there anymore was always super kind and friendly, along with another taller girl. The other girl (typically in pajama pants), is insanely rude and does not belong in customer service. She won’t even acknowledge you and when she does, she doesn’t say hello - she just rolls her eyes like she’s mad that she has to do her job. It’s unfortunate because I love the smoothies here, but it’s so uncomfortable walking into an establishment to pick up your order, and get eyes rolled at you. Other people also experience this so I know it’s not just me.“

“Tucked inside the Mom's Organic Market at the back of this shopping center, Naked Lunch is named for William Burroughs and vegan except for some dairy cheese. The portions are big, and there is a cute seating area where you can watch the shoppers go by. (This market is the most spacious I have ever seen.) Like another reviewer said, you can get a meal and then shop. The kale Caesar crunch salad is one of the best salads I have ever had, with tender kale, pumpkin seeds, quinoa, and chickpeas, and you get 3 large cauliflower tacos that have a bit of spice. The create-your-own-bowl is a great option too -- and you can do that with pressed juices too. How I wish we had a market and cafe like this closer to home, but it's worth a drive. I've never had Caribbean food before, and when I asked for recommendations everyone (staff and customers) was so kind and gave me lots of good suggestions. I wasn't disappointed by anything I ordered. The chicken stew platter was easily my favorite dish but the chicken roti and potato roti were delicious as well. Someone recommended a coconut bake with the platter and that made the whole meal even better. I also tried the currant roll and bread pudding which satisfied my craving for a dessert. I will be coming back on the weekends to try the beef dishes as well because I'm so impressed with everything.“
