“It’s my first time here. The place is nice, with unique decorations unlike a typical bar. The beer menu is displayed on the wall, and the cocktail menu is on paper. It’s small but cool. You’ll need to find street parking nearby. A great spot to grab a beer and try different flavors!“

“Started to become a regular at the Boatyard, avoided for along time because of a misrepresentation of the establishment from years past that just no longer should be considered. Let’s start with the staff and owners very professional, fun and caring they make you feel welcomed anytime you walk in. Honestly you can tell the staff are like family and you just feel like you’re apart of it when you’re here. The food portions and pricing is great not many places in the area can you get a portion where you feel you got your money worth the fact the pricing isn’t tremendous makes it more attractive. The quality of the food is great rotating specials lets you try new things which are always cooked right. You are missing out not trying the boatyard at least once.“

“Went there with some friends. Wings are GREAT, only .50 on Friday & .75 any other day of the week.

Had a nice selection of games......coin pusher, pool, darts and even an electric beer pong machine among others. Staff was nice and place was extremely clean also. It's 100% a bar so expect the bar scene, people and environment.

“ambiance is nice, great atmosphere for dinner, service was a little slow especially the food coming out, but the food was excellent, the server was friendly and attentive, outside of service a little slow, we used a gift card and was charged 3 percent charge for a credit card, I explained to the server it was a GC and not a credit card, she apologized and took the bill, she came back and said the machine would not allow the charge to be taken off, there was 6 of us and didn't feel like staying any longer, but Gift card is same as cash and shouldn't be charge the credit card fee since the business isn't paying any fee“

“I just moved into the neighborhood and me and my boyfriend are in the restaurant/bar business. The only time we have the opportunity to come in is after work. It is not a welcoming place. It is a very cliquey place. We tip 100% and not once got a “thank you” or even a positive greeting. We always have the same bartender and she is always some bigger woman who doesn’t want to leave the end of the bar to tend to customers as she is on her phone: To whomever the owners are, know this: You had good intentions by buying a restaurant/ bar. I can hear the live music from my home which I enjoy. Instead of opening a bar to serve the community, you hired a bartender who has created an unwelcoming environment. As my boyfriend and I walked to our car tonight and left with a pint glass, the bartender had a guy chase us down. My boyfriend could have made that really bad for the drunk guy, but that was all in the bartender’s bad judgement and incapability of running a bar. She was too busy on her phone at the end of the bar. I know we will never be back. If the owners ever want to reach out or know where they fell short, they can reach out to us and we will gladly assist for free.“

“This place has come a long way and still standing. I tried breakfast when first opened/debuted, and I was not happy at all, to say the least. Ordered egg white omelet, no cheese, and just did not get what I ordered. After hearing much better reviews from other patrons, I decided to give it one more try. I must say i was pleasantly surprised💯. Our waitress (sorry forgot name) greeted us with a smile. Hot coffee and water arrived not even 10mins after sitting! Ordered breakfast and about another 15mins-20mins, breakfast arrived coupled w the most beautiful lake views on this side of Drums PA❣️💯. Will definitely be coming back w the family! Thank you, Beech Mountain Lakes! We finally have breakfast in our "backyard"✌️“

“Really nice sports bar located on top of a mountain. I've had takeout here a few times in passing and decided to eat in finally. Food is really good, but every time I'm there, no music is playing or the tv's are muted. It's kind of of awkward. You could hear a pin drop. Maybe I'm just used to sports bars being loud. Its so quiet you can hear people whispering. This place has a 5/5 vibe, food and wings are slammin', but unmute the tv's or play some music please!“
