“On New Year’s Day, while trying to find someplace open for breakfast, we stumbled into Hug in a Mug Café and met Barbara and Zach. What a great find in tiny Weissport. Egg and bacon on sourdough, fresh pastries, Americanos, and lattes - we were hooked! We also appreciated their knowledge of food allergies and their gluten free desserts selection even more. So glad we wandered in. We’ll be back!”

“Great old fashion ice cream shop! They also had old favorite candy's: Shoe strings, candy necklaces, candy buttons, Whatchamacallit, Pop rocks, Razzles, Rock candy, etc. Brought me back to my childhood 😊”

“Recently visited from the West Coast and absolutely loved the fun atmosphere and friendly staff. I felt very welcome and had a great time during trivia night. The drink selection was great, and I quickly found my favorite. I couldn’t leave without purchasing one of their well-made hoodies, and I will be rocking it on the West Coast all season. Thank you! “Just WOW! The atmosphere is good. The food is just amazing. The Tomahawk Chop is delicious. The balsamic reduction a perfect combination. And the deserts: wonderful.! (Try the Brownie with Ice Cream or Apple Cobbler with Ice Cream. Oh heck, get both!) We went last Saturday, (it was highly recommended by a friend) And I want to go back this coming Friday.”

“We call this diner the 'John Deere' diner because of it's prolific green and yellow decor. It is a cozy, friendly place with a good menu and great service. My husband and I had two meals here recently, I had breakfast and lunch. He has breakfast twice. My burger was good, but I was a little disappointed with canned mushrooms on iit, and they use oil on the flat top, not a butter and oil blend - and the difference can be tasted. The sweet potato fries were delicious and crisp! Breakfast for me was sausage gravy over biscuits, with a side of home fries well done with onions - a standard dining out breakfast for me, and again, the ONLY lack was the home fries - once again, left a little flat because they only use oil on their cooktop. I almost considered butter on the side to help liven them up, but instead went slightly heavy handed on the salt which helped the onions immensely.
The prices are also very good - my husband I eating for around $20, and being stuffed to the gills and not leaving hungry.”

“I’m from Maryland and I visited JT for the first time this past weekend. I can’t express enough how wonderful the entire town is. But Wild Elder was the most welcoming and cozy establishment. I highly suggest the Elderflower Cider or mulled Elderberry wine. I had their BLT and broccoli slaw and it paired perfect! I can’t wait to come back again!”

“Started to become a regular at the Boatyard, avoided for along time because of a misrepresentation of the establishment from years past that just no longer should be considered. Let’s start with the staff and owners very professional, fun and caring they make you feel welcomed anytime you walk in. Honestly you can tell the staff are like family and you just feel like you’re apart of it when you’re here. The food portions and pricing is great not many places in the area can you get a portion where you feel you got your money worth the fact the pricing isn’t tremendous makes it more attractive. The quality of the food is great rotating specials lets you try new things which are always cooked right. You are missing out not trying the boatyard at least once.”

“We came in an hour before closing with our family of 5 after the balloon festival and they were so nice and accommodating. I feel like if we would have gone in 10 minutes before closing, they would have been just as nice! We ordered a large calzone, garlic knots, and a large pepperoni pizza and it was all amazing!! 10/10 would recommend and go again if we are in the area!”
