“Stopped here on our way home from our trip to Jim Thorpe PA and it is the cutest place with a VERY extensive menu for old fashioned sodas and ice cream with a candy shop section as well. They have chalkboard tables to keep the kiddos entertained. Highly recommend this pit stop if you are in the area!!!”

“Just WOW! The atmosphere is good. The food is just amazing. The Tomahawk Chop is delicious. The balsamic reduction a perfect combination. And the deserts: wonderful.! (Try the Brownie with Ice Cream or Apple Cobbler with Ice Cream. Oh heck, get both!) We went last Saturday, (it was highly recommended by a friend) And I want to go back this coming Friday.”

“I’m from Maryland and I visited JT for the first time this past weekend. I can’t express enough how wonderful the entire town is. But Wild Elder was the most welcoming and cozy establishment. I highly suggest the Elderflower Cider or mulled Elderberry wine. I had their BLT and broccoli slaw and it paired perfect! I can’t wait to come back again!”

“I’m not local to this area, but stopped in today while visiting a relative who recommended it. There are so many interesting flavors, it was hard to choose! I ended up getting Peanut Butter Crunch Explosion in a waffle cone. I’m normally not a PB ice cream fan, but this flavor was perfect and even tops my all time universal favorite, Moose Tracks. The waffle cone was delicious and you could tell it was homemade. I also picked up some Cake Crunch topping from their selection of toppings and premade ice cream items. They had a lot to choose from! I’m unsure of the name of the young lady that helped me, but she was very kind, patient, and pleasant to interact with. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town!”

“stopped for a quick bite. every time we are in the area for breakfast we do a stop. this time I ordered a turkey BLT with onions that was on a onion bagel and I put garlic herb cream cheese spread on it instead of the mayo. this was delicious through each bite. Last time I was here I had their poutine fries totally delectable.”

“Sunny's pizza is that local pizza place you fondly remember from your childhood. The food is consistently good, the staff is always friendly, and they hustle to make sure you get your food asap. I've been eating there for decades (they moved locations a few years back, but it was literally just across the street) and they've kept the same quality and positive experience the whole time.”

“What an amazing discovery for anyone with food sensitivities and allergies! Our meals were exceptional. The drinks top notch. The staff amazing(shout out especially to Holly and her handcrafted shrubs!) The only reason I was willing to leave Jim Thorpe was because I had a loaf of wonderful to take home and toast for breakfast Monday morning. Looking forward to our next visit to town even more now!”

“Love this place. They have great weekly specials for breakfast and lunch. Please they accept cash only but do have an ATM. Very clean establishment with simple good country cooking and very low prices. Linda is a wonderful server and we enjoy seeing her smiling face!”
