“My wife and I went to Sovana on reccomend from the folks at Phillips Mushroom Farm. We are very glad we took did! From the semi-twin ladies opening the doors for us, to the fun atmosphere, to the great food. They compt' my wife's dessert 'cause it was her birthday and made a GREAT Bloody Mary! But even better than all of that was our server, Racquel T. She was fantastic! She was very friendly, made us feel right at home, was chatty but didn't waste time, she knew the menu very well, even though she said she was relatively new. We went for my dad's 70th birthday and though it was busy as all hell our server (I think her name was Brianne) was awesome and totally on point. My brother better have tipped well.I had a Buffalo chicken steak which was amazing, my only complaint is that the Buffalo sauce was a little light and the fried onions were only slightly browned. We were seated quickly and our server Tori who was delightful was quick to take our drink orders and bring out bread with oil, pepper,cheese and garlic which is what every Italian restaurant should serve. So many great choices on the menu made picking difficult. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and my wife had the Veal Marsala. Both dishes were OUTSTANDING. DEFINITELY GOING BACK. “Went there for an early dinner. The place was fairly empty when we got the but began to fill up rather quickly. We had got lucky with road parking (the garage is right around the corner). Service was good, and the food was delicious. Everyone at the table was satisfied with the meal. I figured I’d play it safe and order the most expensive seafood/pasta entree on the menu, but it was mediocre. Should have ordered the chicken parm. You know something is wrong when you’re given a roll and pungent humus in an “Italian” restaurant. Then you have to ask for salt and pepper, then ask for butter, and ask and ask and ask and some of the servers act like they’re doing you a favor. There’s little value here.“
