“The minute you walk in you know this pizzareia is different than others. Chris, the owners offers a warm funny welcome and you immediately feel like you are standing in your best friends kitchen. He told me he makes the “best pizza” and I took the challenge! I wasn’t even there to eat but meet someone in the parking lot. He offered for me to come in afterward and try a free slice. Instead I ordered two pies to take back to Delaware. While they were in the oven Chris was explaining all kind of things about the art of making pizza. Not to put it piping hot in the box or to leave the full pizza boxes on the top of the oven- tricks only someone who really knew their craft would care about. It was such a fun afternoon, and to think I only stopped in to grab a drink and get change. Oh, the pizza… the best! The crust is to die for- crispy and crunchy not doughy like a garlic knot. The sauce tasted authentic, not sweet like you find at our hometown Grottos. Delicious pizza- rivals NYC slices. A definite pizzeria for the connoisseurs out there and even those that just want damn good pizza! 🍕“

“Came here to say how wonderful the man is who owns this shop. He needs a boost too, as business has been slow. As many of the local convenience store owners have told me, I’m fairly certain he’s having trouble competing with places like Wawa. We as a community need to go support him if we want him to stick around.

He makes all his food himself. He stocks the shelves. He cleans the whole store. He does not hire for these tasks- rather he feels it’s his responsibility as a business owner to strive for excellence. He always remembers me and asks how my client is doing. Incredible cook, kind hearted man, and a local, high quality, family run business.

His wife passed last year I believe, and despite his grief his business never shut down. He has been here over 30 years. Can we as a community do anything to support this local business owner?! I don’t want to see such a loved convenience spot get beat out by another corporation.“

“Solid cheesesteak at a good price versus some newer places opening up. First time having their cheesesteaks today, tried Provolone on regular roll & seeded roll with cooper, both were solid.

“It is not a dine in but I gave 5 for location, parking convenience and warmr temps we love the tables outside with huge hydrangeas to sit by. Decorations inside are so cute too for the holidays. Atmosphere inside as well due to team. It is a warm, genuine small business .
My daughter finished her recital today for our annual Nutcracker performance and I take her wherever she likes for dinner afterwards. Something we always look forward to La Mia for an amazing pizza! We had the Caprese and the roasted tomatoes were so delicious.“

“Pizza is great! Perfect amount of cheese to sauce ratio. Reminds me of a NY street joint pizza. I also called in to have a pizza with “I 🩷 u” on it for my anniversary because with a kid and a husband that works late for the family we both kinda forgot. They went the extra mile and also added a heart shape pizza. We just moved into the area but can’t wait to try more by them this pizza was delicious!“
