“I have passed this food truck more than several times with intentions of stopping. I never have, until today and Holy cow do I wish I would have when I first saw it!! It was AWESOME!!! The roll was fresh, the cheese was aplenty but not too much, and the meat was tender and tasty!! I’m not a fried onion fan but I had a few on it and they were very tender and not overpowering at all. “I grew up on Pudge's cheese steaks and thought as a kid that all cheese steaks were the same, because I only ever had Pudge's. Boy was I wrong. I moved out of Penn Square Village when I was about 20. If you asked me what I miss most, it would be Pudge's. I moved to Pottstown about 25 years ago and looked for a good cheese steak shop. There are a few that are eehh, ok. But none like my childhood Pudge's. It's been 35 years and when I made a FACEBOOK post asking recommendations, a friend said Pudge's. I didn't know that there was a new location in Coventry. I was so excited and not disappointed. It was just like I remember!“

“I was visiting the Philadelphia area this past weekend, and I was hungry for a cheese steak. I had heard all about Gino's and Pat's, plus cheesesteaks in general within the Philly area, and I just had to have one. I went to Candelario's in the late afternoon. I was one of 2 people in the restaurant, and I ordered a slice of sausage pizza, and a cheese steak sub. Fantastic.I had my slice cold, as I heated up in my motel room, and it was terrific. My cheese steak was to die for. It was the best cheese steak that I have had in over 30 plus years. (I grew up in the Boston Area, and they were good, but this one was fantastic). If I get back to Philadelphia area, I will most definitely seek this place out, as the food I ordered was wonderful.Keep up the great work.“

“Had the 1/2 sandwich & soup combo. Tuna salad sandwhich & chicken & rice soup. Sandwich came with a pickle & potato chips. The multigrain bread got soggy & fell apart after a bite. Had to use a fork. Hope they can fix that. The tuna tasted good. The soup was even better. The servers were attentive & efficient. My biggest issue was that 4 pieces of turkey bacon cost $6.99. A little steep for that type of side.“
“Jays Steaks in Royersford PA has to be the most amazing steak I've had in forever.I had a provolone steak with long hots, the roll was scooped and toasted and it was chewy and held up the steak, not soggy, not under or over cooked. This was as near perfect a steak as I've ever had.You can taste the pride and love put into their steaks. It is a small family owned business that works on word of mouth. You need to check them out if you haven't already.“
