“Administrative details - While you usually must make a reservation a year in advance (which I did), there are a very few earlier spots available on their website. In addition, if you are on the email list, they send the occasional last-minute availability. Talula’s is BYOB. The price was $125 and with all the other things, taxes, gratuities, it came to $160. The Nook Table is available for 6-8 diners and the Farm Table is for larger parties. Website link is below. Everything is presented in “tasting” small portions. In addition to the menu, they provided a couple of additional offerings. I did not do a good job of capturing the delightful descriptions of the food provided by our server. (The next time I go, I will video the descriptions if they allow.) The group did a great job of bringing wine which was beautifully poured in appropriate glassware by our server. The server also paired the wine with the offerings for us! The service was exceptional without being pretentious. After each tasting, plates, utensils and glasses were cleared and refurbished so discreetly that you hardly noticed. The menu changes with the “farm to table” availability. My favorite was a squash tarte. [I was delighted to find that I did not like the foie gras. It is “made” in a most inhumane and horrible way. This is the only time I have eaten it and I will never eat it again.] I was sorry to find that by the Black Garlic Beef Ribeye (#6 on the list), I was getting to the point of “too much food.” The only downsides were “too much food” for most of us and the wines they suggested for the pairings were hard/impossible to find. I personally did not like the varieties of wines they suggested for pairings. The rest of the party enjoyed the comparable wines they were able to find and allowed the server to pair with the tastings. I will be making a reservation for next year very soon. I have already made a reservation for the “sister” Talula’s Garden in Philly for September.“

“We went here yesterday for the first time as part of our AmazingCo Mystery Picnic date. seemed like a popular place. We were given a GF chicken wrap for me, a falafel bowl for my husband, a hummus plate to share, a cinnamon scone for my husband and two drinks. I had no idea what to expect, we don't live in the area. The food was AMAZING!!! I honestly couldn't believe how good it was! The GF chicken wrap... delicious!! the hummus tray...who knew hummus could taste so good!! they went above my expectations. I normally feel like I'm getting the bare minimum when I go out for food since I cannot have gluten or dairy. this was certainly not the case. the ONLY downside was the wait for the food was kind of long but it was Soo worth it!!! I'm ready to take the 50 min drive to go back today haha definitely have added it to my favorite food places where I can enjoy DF GF. highly highly recommend!!“

“Been here a few times and never had a bad experience. Everyone there is super nice and the food is great and very well priced. It gives me a feeling of a family owned business when I go there and the vibes are great. Highly recommend.
Dietary restrictions: They offer plenty of gluten free and veg options“

“There's not many places in the area for a good breakfast where it's not crowded.
I stopped in today and ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on buttered toast and it was perfect.
The service is friendly from the former sub shop owner on Cleveland Avenue auto row. I think it was called Olympic steak shop.
I always enjoy their food at Delmar Cafe and plenty of seating.“
“I didn’t just grab vegan chocolate at 67 Cafe — I grabbed a whole experience. After snagging a delicious vegan chocolate bar from the neighboring Newark Natural Foods, I wandered into 67 Cafe, found myself a super comfy chair, and set up shop to study something a little niche: autonomous vehicle prompt engineering (yeah, it’s as futuristic as it sounds).
The atmosphere here is perfect for focus — relaxed, welcoming, and with that kind of low hum that makes you feel like you’re part of a quiet but thriving community. And I have to give a huge shoutout to Raina, who was working the counter when I came in and whom I rewarded a decent tip to. Friendly, efficient, and just genuinely good energy — exactly the kind of person you want as the face of a neighborhood spot.
Whether you’re looking for a place to sip, snack, or deep-dive into a cutting-edge study session, 67 Cafe has you covered. I’ll absolutely be back — probably with another vegan treat in one hand and a laptop full of AI prompts in the other. 🚀🍫“

“This is my new favorite local coffee place. They have excellent coffee, food, and service. Everything I have tried on their menu so far has been uniquely delicious! The atmosphere, featuring beautiful plants all around, is so lovely. The people working here are so kind and welcoming. I am absolutely delighted to have found this gem close to my new home. I recently moved from Chadds Ford, PA, and was accustomed to being minutes from Talulas table in Kennett, PA, Terrain in Glen Mills, PA, Ososweet Bakery Cafe in Chadds Ford, PA and Brewhaha in Greenville, DE all of which made exceptional versions of my favorite coffee, a mocha latte with Lavendar, and amazing food selections to go with it. If you know, you know. Poured Out Cafe has high quality choices of all of my favorites, matching, and sometimes surpassing, the excellence of those, and now I have added some new favorites that I can only find on the menu here at Poured Out Cafe.“

“This catering experience was top notch! I needed some hand holding since I don't host things very often, and Pamela made it a great experience. She guided me through food options to ensure our event was successful. She was considerate of food allergies and reminded me of the need for vegetarian options. She ensured we provided a balance of options so that every guest was satisfied. I received RAVE reviews from our guests. Her and her husband arrived on time and set up all of our platters so that I literally just sat and watched as everything was perfectly placed. I would highly recommend Pamela's Gourmet for any event!“

“Stopped in for the first time… had time to kill before heading to Yarn & Bone in the same shopping center. IT WAS AMAZING. The coffee was fresh and delicious (coming from someone that drinks it black… iykyk). I got the Eggs Benedict on the Cheddar Biscuit and I would drive up from Dover just to eat that again 😂😍. We have adoption events once a month in their neighboring store, and this is going to be a monthly breakfast stop moving forward!“

“Food was decent. A bit pricey for what it was, but decent all together. There was only one server the day before Thanksgiving, so she was a little stressed due to the volume of people coming in, but she held her own.
The actual restaurant was beautiful inside though. A lot of old world charm and very clean.
I may come back again next time I'm in Newark when it's not holiday time.“

“Brew HaHa! is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a staple in the community, combining artisan coffee with a chic, relaxed vibe. Located just off the main strip, the interior is clean and modern, with plenty of comfortable seating, exposed brick, and an artsy, welcoming atmosphere. The café takes its coffee seriously, offering a curated selection of espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and seasonal specials like lavender lattes or maple cold brew. I ordered a cappuccino and a breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon, and cheddar on a croissant. The coffee was smooth with a rich crema, clearly crafted with care. The sandwich was warm, flaky, and filling—simple, but made with quality ingredients. For a sweet treat, I tried a slice of lemon pound cake that was moist and subtly tart. They also offer fresh pastries, salads, and sandwiches, making it more of an all-day café than just a morning stop. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, happy to explain the beans and blends or recommend something new. Brew HaHa! strikes a balance between trendy and approachable. It’s ideal for students studying, professionals working remotely, or anyone looking to escape the generic coffee chain atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can linger, recharge, and enjoy the little details that elevate a cup of coffee into a full experience.“

“Great selection of sandwiches and soups, I just wish they had more soup sizes instead of just "decent, if a bit smallish" and "a week's supply". Other than that, it's my go to place for a quick soup. Prices are reasonable and service is fast.“
“Many fine quality selections of meats, cheeses and snacks. Very good service and great accessible parking ✅.“

“Sat at sidewalk table on this beautiful day. Hostess sat us promptly. Server was spot on with drinks, food (special requests) and checking back. French toast was extra thick and cooked perfectly. Eggs were average. Sausage link was plump and tasty. Good and plentiful coffee.“
