We had the zucchini planks they were hot when they arrived at the table and were good. We had a few pitches of beer we split up umong our group. Beer was coldKid-friendliness: Our son had a good time he sat awhile and got up a few times to move around“

“We had our wedding here about a month ago now, and it was wonderful! Miss D is amazing and will make everything go smoothly, even if stuff gets crazy (as it will). We really can't thank her enough for everything she did on our wedding night. The venue is gorgeous, the food was amazing, and they let us do all kinds of crazy things to make the night perfect. Definitely a wonderful place to get married!“

“Love this place. I live in Bessemer so not only is it close to home but once you've got your membership it's very inexpensive.Staff is awesome, food is fairly price with large portions; served by awesome waitresses...most notably Sherri. Also the one bartender, Maryann, will make specialties like rocket fuel and mainly in the summer frozen margaritas and daquaris. She's also not afraid to try new recipes or whip up something that not on the "menu".“

“A small town restaurant that brings diner vibes and a full stomach every time I go. I'll often head over to treat myself to after a long night at work. I never fail to leave there hungry or unsatisfied. It is also fairly easy on the wallet. I only ever spend around 17 dollars for a full meal drink and paying the tip. The only downside is location of parking. Due to being on a downtown road the only parking is across the street or around the corner. However don't let that stop you from visiting and grabbing a good filling meal“

“Bill’s Sandwich on Wilmington ave., across from McDonald’s. Probably and I am being serious, the most customer centric staff of any place I have been. And they sell dogs and sandwiches? Well, that, and daily homemade soups. Wedding soup on Thursdays is as good as any other I have ever had. Stand your spoon up in the bowl full of greens, meatballs, chicken, orzo or some small pasta thingy. The stick has a great full chicken flavor. They have all these other soups too, but the wedding soup! Oh, and love the philly steak. On the hot sandwiches this place, heats the roll on the flattop. My pic has extra meat, and mushrooms onions and peppers. And please, get the yellow American cheese instead of the mozzarella. It complements the savory beef and onions so darn well. Oh, the service, why are they so darn nice? I mean everyone I’ve been in contact with that works there. I’m pretty sure it isn’t because of me. They have a drive through too, but just go inside. I usually call my order in. Oh! The gyros! I almost forgot about the gyros! They flattop the gyro meat to like a very slight crispness, and the lettuce is shredded. I don’t know why, but shredded lettuce is way better than big leaves of lettuce hanging out the edges of your sandwich. Inside is very nice. Clean and comfortable. Bill’s Sandwich, this place doesn’t miss.“

“I thought I'd give the "Famous Reuben" a try on St Patrick's Day, and it did NOT disappoint. The giant portion of thinly sliced corned beef had just the right amount of saltiness. The deliciously tart saurkraut balanced with the sweetness of the thousand island made a pleasant combination. The pungent Swiss cheese, dill pickles, and rye bread gave it the full rich savory sandwich it was meant to be. Well done, Hugger Muggers!“
“I called in an order hoping for delivery ( they don't always offer it). they were busy so we had to do a pick up. I explained that I was hoping to get curbside due to having my toddler with me. not wanting to get her in and out of the car seat multiple times. The bartender Levi ( who took my order)was wonderful! he offered to bring it out to our car! he even asked what color car so he could watch for us! this was above and beyond normal customer service! the food was great and we will definitely be going back!! thank you Levi!!!“

“We had a Confirmation luncheon in the party room. Food was good, staff very friendly and helpful, price was reasonable. If their menu is as good as the catering (pasta, meatballs, italian season chicken, potatoes which was a huge hit, green beans, and salad) i would recommend for a casual dinner.“
