“A couple of nights ago I was at the restaurant with two other people. Wonderful ambience , exceptional service. I am only giving this one negative comment so that someone would be aware that the kitchen staff needs to be educated to make the dishes match what the menu states. We had an appetizer and each of us ordered a different meal. The others meals were excellent and perfectly done. I ordered the stuffed sweet potato with a special topping and crispy shallots. The skin on the bottom of the baked sweet potato was burned. No big deal I could scrape the potato away from that. The shallots, however, were not even close to crispy. They were soggy, limp and bitter. I was disappointed but did not want to make a fuss In front of my friends. We had tasty cocktails and I repeat excellent service. I will be back and will recommend the Tavern to friends.“

“We love Ryder’s. You’ll find us there every Wednesday night for dinner. Great family owned restaurants with wonderful staff. They even do special occasions dinners and host social groups. When you’re in town don’t hesitate to stop and see Red and the crew.“

It's all farm to table, food is really fresh, salad was great. Thursday is Walleye night! We will definitely go back. Prices were reasonable for the portion you receive.“

“A mainstay in the community that’s been here since I was a kid. Food, service, and everything here are always great. I remember splitting the “Italian Nightmare” with my great grandparents almost a decade ago now.

“I grew up in this area and have been coming to this location for years, off and on. We live in North Carolina now and always try to visit when we’re here. It seems the place has been refreshed with paint and some new lighting, more modernization, etc. Looks a little different than it has over the years and more inviting. We decided to stop for dinner and it was excellent. The service is excellent. They’re very attentive, kind and professional. The food was hot and delicious. Definitely up to par like the Red Lobster of years ago. The general manager, Rob was there as well and he was a very nice guy. Highly recommended!“

“Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Wings were perfect. I asked for overcooked and slightly burned by prefrence. I like a good crunchy wing skin. They came as requested. Shocking house sauce combo. CPR sauce is a must try! Tell me it doesnt take like an amazing cajun chicken alfreado on a wing? Other sauces were also very flavorful. Would go again.“

“Stopped in today, with my family. I was using a knee scooter, from a recent surgery. They only had two young ladies working. I must say Haven was amazing. She seated us immediately in a great spot seeing my scooter. She was running food, seating customers, taking care of the delivery pick ups and manning the bar. She did all this while being pleasant with a smile on her face. This girl deserves 👏. My appetizer was great but the main course not so much. I'm not sure if the kitchen was short staffed. I didn't say anything because of how crazy it was. That is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars today.“

“I will honestly be the first to tell ya, this restaurant is fine, just how I feel ,not just this location but every one I have been too. I just wanted to say my husband and I came to this restaurant for a few beers and some apps!! I will tell you, this is the best service we had at this particular location, our waitress was so great!! I just got out the receipt our waitress was Jessica R!!! I called in and gave a great review and we do not know her so it’s not bias, but I think people mostly call in to complain, so hopefully the manager reaches out to give you the credit for what you deserve … working hard does pay off!!“
