“We celebrated our 21st anniversary at Chef Max’s counter on a Friday night. Words cannot describe how amazing the experience is at the chefs counter. There is so much love and art put into every meal. Not only is the food amazing and taste out of this world, the experience watching the process is equally entertaining. I highly recommend the chefs counter!! This is how it’s done right!!!“

Our server was awesome- he was not only friendly but also very considerate; he gave our one-year old son a big plate of fruits and mashed potatoes; he also gave us a congratulations dessert for whatever we were celebrating for. All the food we had there was very tasty but the lobster tacos were the most memorable ones just because we haven't had them somewhere else before and they were phenomenal! “My husband & I were on our way to a Phillies game yesterday when it got postponed. The next exit off the NE Extension was Harleysville to turn around. I hopped on Yelp! and found Jesse’s - we wanted to eat before heading back home to Berks County. We are SO glad we did! The BEST BBQ ever!! The staff was super friendly & helpful with recommendations, since it was our first time. We went with the BBQ Sampler & added cornbread muffins with honey butter. EVERYTHING was delicious! I’m, personally, not a lover of ribs…they might have been my favorite!!! Looks like we have a new place to stop when we are heading to Phillies games!!! Or we need to find reasons to go to Souderton so we can get to Jesse’s more often!!“

“My family and I had an incredible dining experience tonight at Umai. We had a special, Kinmedai aka Golden Eye Snapper that was so fresh and tasty, out of this world good! We also had a treat with broiled tuna cheek that was also outstanding. Otoro was so velvety and rich, spicy hotate, sweet ebi, unagi, fried crabs, incredible sushi rolls, savory Akadashi (my son ordered a second it was so good) and everything else we ordered tonight was just incredible. Thanks so much to Rae and his wonderful staff for one of the best meals I've ever had - the best sushi in this area for sure and such friendly excellent service to accompany it! 🙂 Thanks for such wonderful hospitality and all the extra goodies Rae.
