“Start with GREAT TASTE, better than most in the area. I’m going to be honest, hygiene seemed suspect. Not dirty, but there were tool bags on the counter. Old guy making pizza coughed a lot and touched his face a lot. But I’ve eaten gas station tacos since I was a kid in the south, so whatever. Food fantastic tasting. Speed is a little slow, they seem poor at timing orders. My fries were 10 min + ahead of the pizza….. but again, taste great. Will eat again. Hopefully they look at the cleanliness from the customer POV. Place has major potential.”

I think it's very reasonably priced. My daughter and son- in-law took me here for my birthday as they know I really like this place! Hamir even had a special candle for me! “I was in town for work and came for dinner both night. The French onion soup and creme brulee were fabulous, but just might be the best pork chop I have ever had. Prices were reasonable, staff friendly and attentive, food was excellent.”

“I’m no fan of sushi, so I can’t speak to that, but I LOVE hot-and-sour soup. I’ve been disappointed with the soup at several other restaurants in the area, but Wild Ginger’s version of it is PHENOMENAL! Loaded with wonderful stock and truly having a sour taste with a subtle kick of spicy. (It’s surprising how many restaurants do not have both.) I could have made a meal out of it. Will definitely be back.”

“We moved here from out of state and recommended initially to try their brunch. We took our three children there and it was fabulous. Drinks were amazing, service superb, and the food was outstanding. We decided to order delivery today via third party, and it was still just as amazing. Honestly have lived in many states and this by far is one of my favorite Pizza/Philly cheesesteak places. Highly recommend!”

“My daughter and I stopped in last Sunday for some veggie wraps and coffee. Everything was great from the moment we walked in the door. The coffee shop was immaculately clean, the staff was so friendly and efficient and most importantly the food and coffee were awesome. Definitely will recommend Gather 256 to all. To me it's the best coffee/cafe in York! Thank you to Tyler. Sarah Molly, and Nina (hopefully I have everyone that was there Sunday afternoon) for being so awesome on our first time there. It definitely will be our special stop in York!”

“Drove 3.5 hours to try them, it was well worth it !!! Fresh rolls, fresh cut meats, fresh vegetables, everything had a taste ! This is not an average shop, they are doing it right, PURE FRESHNESS front to back and top to bottom, my only complaint was I prefer a little more OV I will definitely return, well worth the trip !!!!!!”

“My husband and I love going to this establishment. We love the breakfast. It is always crowded, but the staff are extremely professional and kind. The owner is not shy to get into the fold of washing down tables and sitting his customers. There are so many options for dinner too. The waitresses are always polite and make us feel welcomed. “Firstly I want to say that our server was AMAZING. We didnt get her name but she was blond, middle aged, glasses, sweet and I think I may have detected a possible accent? Seriously, she knew the menu and even told us they would make anything we wanted whether or not it was on the menu. She was attentive and nice and we compensated her for that accordingly with our tip. So the food, I mean it's run of the mill, maybe. It's out of cans or frozen for sure which we very much anticipated I guess. I got the country fried steak with 2 eggs, and my husband got two egg with peaches and corned beef hash. Both my steak and his hash were a bit reminiscent of dog food looks wise. Neither had good color, crisp or appropriate type of heat applied that would make you think they were cooked at the appropriate temp for the right time. Kind of just mooshy and lifeless. Also, hubs isn't feeling so hot digestive wise and reading past reviews, that looks to be a thing here? UPDATE: Now I too have intestinal issues and hour after eating here. Great. Thanks guys! ugh. It is what it is, but the prices were steep for a side of diarrhea to go along with that nude colored food, is all Im saying. Also, the blond curly haired woman who seems like a "manager" has some serious resting you know what face. Shes just outright rude too. Like she has a hard time playing well with others. When we'd watch her make eye contact with someone she would fake smile, then immediately roll her eyes behind their back when they turned away. To everyone, no matter the circumstances. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. Keep your emotions off of your face if you want to work with the public. She approached our table to replace the menues and I kinda got the chills. Once I started watching, I saw who she was very clearly. I cannot be the only one who's seen this behavior and it's one of the few reasons we won't be back.”

“My husband and I went there last night. It was part of the Brewery Card I had purchased. It's an hour drive so we have never been there before. I was really impressed. The food, service, price and atmosphere were spot on. my husband ordered the special which was Prime Rib. It was about 16 oz. He said it was delicious. I had the Tortellini with ham, mushrooms and sausage and it was amazing. It had such good flavor. My husband and I both said on the way home we wish it wasn't so far away because we would be frequently visiting. There is nothing near use that even compares. Thanks again for making our date night an enjoyable one.”
