“We ordered a meal from Cenci's last night from our hotel at McCandless Crossing. The lovely ladies at the front desk highly recommended Cenci's. We ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and couple of meatballs , a small meat lovers pizza, and garlic bread. Everything arrived on time, food was hot and it was absolutely delicious. The young man that delivered our food (sorry - didn't get his name) - was polite, personable, and just lovely to deal with. We would definitely order from Cenci's on our next visit and once again - the food was amazing. Thank you for making our evening meal a really nice occasion.“

“If your looking for a place to go and have a few drinks; play some pool or darts, look no further. This is the place for you. Highland is a nice little hole in the wall that all the locals know and love. Not very big but bigger than it looks. It's only got one pool table and dart board, but we take turnes like good kids to use it. There a couple tables to sit and enjoy or sit at the bar and get funky with the bar. Lol it's a good time.“

“I loved this iconic hotel. Each room quotes a star we love from years past that bring nothing but found memories. It's then a quick drive to all that San Diego has to offer; the Zoo, museums, beaches, and attractions. Great food is also all around. No need to eat at big chains when tiny spots are everywhere. One line to get into is Snooze, a breakfast eatery downtown. And don't forget to check out the local beer scene. “I've been here once or twice. Maybe even three times! I had so many adult beverages there each time I went that there's no way of knowing. On Tuesdays they have tacos. I like tacos. I ate 6 tacos. I threw up the tacos in the men's room toilet, but I flushed it after I slipped and fell in my own vomit. I also cleaned up my vomit. The security they keep near the entrance makes me feel safe since I'm a small white male. The best part about it is you can smoke inside! However I don't recommend lighting off leftover July 4th fireworks because they will tell you to stop, or ask you to leave. The prices of drinks were so low I disassociated from myself for 13 minutes out of excitement and when I realized what was going on it was last call. I shook the security guy's hand on my way out for doing a kind service in protecting frail little men like me who have a low alcohol tolerance!! I'll be back.“

The decor is great, simple green and wood tones to reflect the *turtle* nature of the name and logo. There was some overlying smell today that I couldn't place, almost like the mop water needed changed, but it is a bar and very well could have been a mat that needed swapped out so I give that a pass.

Ciders were great, you can try a flight of 4 to help try several at once. My favorite was the harvest spice, a fall cinnamon/pumpkin tone flavor. My husband liked Canadian Logger, which was my second choice pick with maple and vanilla undertones.

Food was decent, we ordered off the brunch menu. Avocado toast and a breakfast sandwich. I enjoyed my toast but the sandwich was underseasoned and needed something to cut through the grease, maybe tomato? Watch out for them, though! I predict this place will be 🔥 once the chef finds their groove!!!! Will be back again!“

For those that are looking for somewhere that opens early, such as a third shift worker, they open at 7:00 a.m. smoking is not permitted as well. They also have a parking lot in the back of the building. Kind of off of the beaten path.“

Yesterday I tried Tepache Fox Chapel. The menu was very creative with authentic dishes from around the world. I tried the birria tacos. They were perfect! "A Jalisco staple. Quick-fried chipotle-corn tortilla stuffed with beef slow-marinated in chile de árbol and cinnamon, topped with raw onion, cilantro, melted queso Oaxaca. “Love coming here! Ive been to the Cranberry location as well- emilianos has a large menu with something for everyone. I've had several dishes here and all of them were good. My favorite thing to get here that a lot of Mexican restaurants don't seem to have is the fajita quesadilla, it's amazing and big! Also love their chips and salsa!“
