“I had the gyro and it was really good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. We sat in the bar area so it was a little noisy but the room was clean, bright and comfortable. We were there for lunch so I can't comment on how it is at night. I would go there again.“
“Tonight we are in for a treat. We are ordering a large with pepperoni and 1/2 mushrooms. Neapolitan or NY style of course! I’ve been a fan of Mamma Lucia’s since I moved to Wexford 12 years ago. I usually stop in for my usual cold slice (or 2) of their pepperoni NY style pizza but tonight my family and I are ordering takeout! $31 for a large (18”) pepperoni, 1|2 mushrooms and an order of their fantastic garlic knots is rather reasonable! Normally we are in the $40 range when we order takeout from other local places. Great pizza is also good cold and theirs hits the spot hot or cold. To be honest I was spoiled as a kid working in a pizza shop in Somerset, PA. They also featured a fantastic NY style pizza. Some nights after closing we would snack on the pizza that was sliced to sell as individual slices. Mama Lucia’s takes me right back to that place and all the fond memories I have of the place (Frank’s Pizza on Main St.) and the people. Keep on keeping on Mamma Lucia’s! You do something magical and certainly appreciated! My wife is picking up our order, but I’ll see you soon for my usual cold slice(s) of pepperoni to go!“
“Our server Kayla made the experience at this establishment delightful. She was very attentive with everything we needed and kept checking to see if we needed anything. The food here is amazing and I always have some left overs to take home.Parking: It’s a strip mall with plenty of parking all aroundKid-friendliness: It’s kid friendly the clientele is family friendly not loud or rowdyWheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs here“
“I just moved here and needed a new pizza place. Adrian's rules! They have a ton of gourmet pizzas and we keep trying different ones. All I can say is time after time the food is great AND consistent. Never disappointed. Cheers, folks. Thank “
“AS GOOD AS THE OG, BUT IN FRANKLIN PARK! Love the pizza, half pep, half sausage is the way to go. Extremely friendly staff.Great sandwiches too. Plus know that your money is staying on our community when you support this locally owned family business!Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Fun for families“
“This is my 2nd time at Slice, and it may be my nee diet cheat day go-to!The NY style pizza is literally NY worthy! it reminds me of my favorite pizza spot in Watkins Glen NY.Greasy, thin but delightfully crunchy. 1 slice in-house is the size of 2 normal slices anywhere else.Tried the cannoli cake this time and holy hell. game-changer. Literally insanely delicious. The gentleman that helped me was incredibly personable.I just wish they heated the marinara since i dined in....Thanks!! ?“
“1st January and not many places were open to grab dinner. This place is near us and was open, we ordered on the app and it was super easy. We got there and the pizza was hot straight out of theboven. Clean place, frindly staff and was greeted straight away and also left with mynpizza which was made exacrly as ordered. Theywished me a Happy New Year with a smile. This is a chain and I rarely visit those as we have great Mom and Pop pizzerias innPittsburgh that I frequent. But in a bind, this place is great and the prices cannot be beat.“
“I have been to this restaurant with family and friends at least a dozen times. This is the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. Totally authentic with the best ingredients. It is seasoned to perfection and everything tastes delicious. My family and friends have all been very impressed as well. It’s healthy and delicious food and I love supporting a family owned business. The restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. I would love to eat here every day.“
“We often order delivery from here and are always impressed with the quality of the food, the quantity, and the speed of delivery. Tonight it was chicken parmigiana with angel hair and a side salad with fried zucchini as an appetizer for me, while my dad did the build-your-own-pasta with gnocchi and carbanara (bacon, mushroom cream) sauce and caesar salad. They said it would be an hour and it was only 30 minutes. I don't know how the fried zucchini travels and still arrives crispy, but they do it, and it's awesome, large slices, very generous, like a whole zucchini, with crisp, though not too thick, breading. It does not include a dip, only lemon wedges, but I have ranch dressing here. The chicken parmigiana was two large breasts, breaded, moist, and smothered in sauce and cheese. The side salads are generous with a thick slice of cucumber, grape tomato, red onion, and lettuce (the caesar - not real authentic but good - with croutons, black olives, grape tomatoes, lettuce, and parm cheese). We are never disappointed and always have leftovers. The one time something was wrong with our order, they promptly came back with what was missing and gave us a credit. Try the focaccia pizzas for a week's worth of great food! Highly recommended!!!“
“We forgot to take photos of the salads but they were great. The candied walnut apple chicken salad with champagne vinegrette was delicious. The boys split the carrot cake and highly recommend. The deep dish pizza was a favorite too. My husband liked the house Italian dressing too. Our server was great too. Definitely a favorite.“
“An authentic Italian experience, in a small restaurant off the beaten path. My boyfriend took me for Valentine’s Day. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection. I ordered scallops over pasta. The scallops were browned in butter, tender and succulent. The pasta was hand made. The Italian bread was home made. My friend’s spaghetti bolognese was pilled high and mighty tasty. Even the pairing of wine suggestions were spot on. The father and son do most of the cooking and baking. And they are Italians. We passed the pastry counter on our way out, so I filled a box with beautiful cannolis, cookies and tarts and spent the rest of my boyfriend’s money. All good!“
“The Bulldog is an all around lovely experience. The food- absolte 10/10. Staff 10/10. Drinks 10/10. I'd like to keep this a secret but it's too good to not share. Not to mention, the owner is a gem and deserves every bit of the business.“
“My husband and I have been wanting to try a new pizza spot, and seeing as we pass by Pizza IQ all the time, I decided we should give them a shot. I checked out their online menu, and I not only noticed that they have the option to order online but that they have a ton of options to choose from! This place has a good handful of sandwiches, sides, pizzas, and even macaroni and cheese dishes to choose from! My husband and I placed an online order for pickup the other day. We ordered a bacon pizza with a hot honey drizzle, an extra cheese pizza with a garlic butter drizzle, an italian hoagie, and an order of their white queso macaroni and cheese. I'd say overall the food was a solid 9/10. You could really taste the garlic butter on the cheese pizza and the hot honey on the bacon pizza. The hot honey, however, isn't spicy at all, and I'm wondering if it's just suppose to be warm? The macaroni and cheese was surprisingly good! Had more cheese sauce on it than I thought there would be! My husband said his hoagie was good too! Overall the wait time for pickup was super fast. We placed the order and drove to the restaurant pretty much immediately after placing the online pickup order and 15 minutes later it was hot and ready! They also have a designated window for online order pickups too! Very fast and convenient for sure! We loved the food and fast service, and after seeing the intriguing menu options on their website, it's safe to say we'll be returning to try some other items! I noticed they have a macaroni and cheese pizza as well as a pierogi pizza? Sounds different yet yummy! Can't wait to give something else a try next time!“
“Amazingly delicious no-frills neighborhood pizza joint. It is a treasure! When you factor price and taste (are there others?), Eddie's has the best pizza in Pittsburgh. Really, it's that good!!! Give it a try. I promise you'll love it.“
“So my fiance and I stumbled upon this awesome shop while walking. We were walking back home. I was going to cook dinner but we could smell the pizza outside. My mama always told me if you can smell the food out the door then it's probably good! Boy was she right! We ordered a Hawaiian Pizza and it was amazing. I told the owner that we relocated to Millvale recently and he gave us two complementary slices to try. The service was great. The restaurant was clean and cozy. This is def my new pizza spot. Sooo good“
“Food was very good. The only thing I can say as a slight negative was the service. However, this was not the servers fault. They were the only one being host, bartender, and server for the entire dining room. Saying all of that he did a fantastic job, but could definitely use help.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten sensitive options that I have ordered.“
“Peppino's was great, the guys behind the counter were super nice to my girls and I. The pizza was awesome, I love pizza and this place did not disappoint at all. It was cooked just the way I like it too, a lil crispy and super cheesy! Thanks for the pizza, hope to be back again sometime!“
“Overall, I'd say this was a solid pizza. I had it delivered though so I can't speak to the ambiance, etc. of the location. One notable thing about the pizza here is that they use cornmeal on the bottom of the pizza crust. I'm a fan of cornmeal on the bottom of the crust and I don't see that used much on the pizzas I've eaten locally or while traveling. Not that I've never eaten a pizza with cornmeal on the bottom, but it's been rare. It gives it a nice added crisp/crunch and a tiny nuance of flavor too. The cheese, sauce and crust were all of good quality, and the pizza itself was cooked perfectly. (Pizza is pictured) Slices of the pizza didn't flop in my hand, so the crust definitely has some body to it. All-in-all, I'd order from here again. It's by far better than any chain pizza, but not the best family-owned pizza. That title still belongs to Aviva in Wexford.“
“This restaurant knows how to wine and dine their customers! From being greeted as we walk in, to being sat and served, the staff is wonderful. I can't say enough about Bob who makes us feel like family! He treats the kids like they are his own. Food is always perfect, and my favorite is the Papperdalle Ala Fungi❣️ Worth every penny you spend!“
“Fantastic hidden gem on route 8. Great food and drinks. Reasonably price and large portions. The owners are fantastic and friendly. Bring your appetite! My buddy had the wings and they were crispy and delicious. I went with the Wamo burger pictured and it was delicious . Proud to say I finished it. Included fresh cut fries. Saw some other food coming out to other tables and can't wait to go back to try more!“
“Hidden gem. Will be back again. Large plain cheese, perfect. Large House Special, perfect. Sweet sauce, good crust. House Balsamic Dressing is so good. The guy making pizza’s left his kitchen to help jump my mom’s car. You can’t get better service. Great people….when we brought it home everyone who had it said “this pizza is good, where’d you get it?”“
“Wake held and we had delicious chicken Romano, meatballs and cheese raviolis with green beans, mashed potatoes and Caesar salad. Everyone enjoyed it very much. Service was good with beverages etc as was buffet. It was in a room above restaurant and private. Plenty of space for 40 people. Would use them again“
“It's not you normal pizza place more a ma and pa feel friendly place with a real good pizza for your buck lunch for 2 under $15. I was recommended and I would recommend to anyone in area try it. Only one thing it cash only. Still worth it. They loaded toppings on the slices we ordered and its a Sicilian style pizza. Definitely deserves a try and I'll return again.“
“We got take out, so my review reflects how the restaurant looked. It was clean and neat, but typical for a pizza joint. The food was delicious and the service was great, even though they were understaffed. We will be back whenever we are in the Evans City area!“
“First time there, was surprised how spacious it was, and was confused as to where the front door was haha went in through the bar I guess haha. Ample parking and seating. Food was AWESOME ?? the cheesy garlic bread… and the Alfredo ????? pizza was very good, but very greasy. It was a hand tossed crust, thinner and a good amount of sauce :) it was great! Probably a few pounds fatter now but I think that’s a good thing if judging by a food establishment ?Vegetarian options: Pasta and pizza and Bread and Salad hahahaParking: Big lot.Kid-friendliness: Not a playground haha but they had good food kids love! Service was pretty quick and kids never got impatient during the wait.“
“Bobs truly serves you best subs ever! The amount of meat they load you up with is crazy in todays economy! Usually you get 1/3 of that at subway and pay more. Don’t hesitate to come in here for best subs! I always get steak and cheese everywhere I go and bobs loads you up! No need to get double meat as you will have a lot in your regular sub. I didn’t teak pictures as I wanted to say their sub right away. It’s huge, delicious and low priced. I only hope they continue this trend and don’t start increasing prices drastically or lowering amount of meat they put in their subs. Truly best subs! They got that vote for a reason!“
“Fantastic for pick up and delivery. No dining room. Super friendly, fast and affordable. Generous toppings on pizza’s. Also love their hoagies.Dietary restrictions: They have good gluten-free pizza, when we are feeding a gluten-free guest“
“Favorited restaurant for their homemade ravioli, pizza, and hoagies. Food quality is good. Gets crowded fast during the dinner rush and parking becomes scarce. Pricing is average for the area. Local family owned. Has a separate bar area. Dining area is a bit on the smaller side. Had a separate area and entryway for takeout pickup.“
“Love the food and the place is always packed with people. The staff is not always up to par depending on who is working and how they are feeling but that is how it works in the service industry. The last time I ordered I just wanted to pick up 3 canolis as they are the BEST I have ever had at any restaurant or bakery but was told that I cannot do that they were too busy. So I went in to order them and again was told that I could not order anything to take out . After explaining the situation that I was told over the phone I could come in and order them they did get my food for me. $27 is a bit much for 3 canolis but they are great and I wanted them. Dining in is your best option but I would call ahead and make a reservation as it is a small place and often extremely busy.“
“Great place to pick up pizza, workers are very friendly, fast and the food is always hot fresh and delicious and portions are very generous and prices are reasonable and worth it. Since Dipietros closed I never thought that I was ever going to find another calzone that tasted as good as theirs until I tried Maisies, best decision ever, I have a new favorite pizza shop!!!“
“I have been a long time customer of Aiello’s in Squirrel Hill, going back to when Giuseppe opened the shop and this was my first visit to the North location. I was not disappointed. I stopped to get a pizza before going to watch the Super Bowl with friends. There was plenty of room to park in the parking lot. As I entered, I noticed the brightly lit dining room with plenty of seating available. I had called ahead, and my pizza was ready on my arrival. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this location accepted credit cards, because the Squirrel Hill location is cash only. I paid for the pizza and proceeded to my friends’ house. The pizza itself was pretty much identical to what is served in Squirrel Hill. There was plenty of red sauce, but not overpowering. With just the right amount of cheese and pepperoni as well. The consistency of the dough was as expected, not chewy, but also not overdone. Overall, the taste was exactly the same as I was used to from Squirrel Hill. I would not hesitate to get a pizza from this location again!Parking: Right off of the main roadway, it can hold approximately 15-20 cars.Wheelchair accessibility: I didn’t notice any steps from the exterior to the interior, so I think it would be easily accessible in a wheelchair.“
“The food is always fresh when I get it delivered. The portion sizes are absolutely huge. The pizza rolls? Phenomenal. The ranch? 10/10. I had a different pizza shop that was my go to order place but they changed their ingredients and after trying Gino Bros and having them a few times they’re definitely my new go to pizza shop. Awesome food and really good deal coupons too! A whole large pizza, cheesy breadsticks, a whole hoagie, and a 2 liter for 34.99? Can’t beat it.“
“We ordered take out which consisted of the fish and shrimp dinner and a specialty pizza. Three big pieces of fish and three jumbo shrimp beer battered and cooked just right with a big order of fries. Pizza was perfectly done. We will definitely be visiting again.“
“Stopped by after some errands. Dee was wonderful and so friendly. Took great care of me - she made me a delicious espresso martini with some local PA rum. I got the spinach artichoke dip to go - absolutely delicious. So grateful for our local businesses. Thank you! ♥️“
“Good food, relaxing atmosphere. Outdoor eating. Very good appetizers.Mussels in a homemade white sauce, Nonni's meatballs, truffle fries all very good. We have had good burgers and pizza as well. They also have an upscale bar with well made cocktails. Fun local pub.“
“I work at a neapolitan pizza place and was craving a new york style pizza. This went above and beyond my expectations of pizza in this area. Please try this place if you have not. The service was not super friendly, and honestly because it was so good (and the price was so great), I do not care. It made my week after having so many bad expensive pizzas elsewhere. Thank yall <3“
“Once you try Milanos you will be a loyal customer!! Everything is amazing! We have tried most things. Pizza is perfect, my 7 year old will not eat pizza from anywhere else! The wings are THE best around AND priced the best. My personal favorite is the stuffed hot peppers ? they have the good ranch too!The staff is even better. So helpful, polite and thankful for your business.“
“Great place, second to Anthony Jr’s on taste but I order from here more than Anthony Jr’s because you can’t beat the pricing.Delivery is always quick, food is always hot and never the wrong thing or messed up from the driver turning too hard.Overall 9.5/10 and remember to tip the drivers!!!“
“We were shopping at the mall today and decided to stay for lunch. I got a Stromboli with chicken and broccoli that I thought was great! The men behind the counter were patient as I looked and took care of me. The guy who checked me out was also very nice. It was kind of slow there so I hoped for them that it picked up later. It's hard to describe the atmosphere since it is in the mall food court but it was nice and calm there today. I would definitely order it again or pizza as it looks good to me!“
“I want to shout-out Pietro’s for excellent customer service. Pietro’s is our favorite pizza place around us and we normally order through Grubhub. We love their variety of pizza and the Sicilian is a family favorite. There was an unfortunate issue today which was not a fault of their own where someone had stolen our order and when the new driver went to pick it up there was no order there. Grubhub rectified the money portion and gave us a credit, but we got a personal call from the restaurant which told us exactly what had happened, and how they wanted to make sure as regulars we weren’t mad at them. Honestly it meant so much to my wife and I and we will be ordering from them very shortly because one the pizza is great but 2, the service is even better.“
“I visited Il Pizzaiolo for the first time this weekend and was blown away by the decor and by the kindness of the wait staff! We were also personally greeted by who appeared to be the owner or manager which we appreciated. The food was also delicious!“
“Great food and service! This is a nice little restaurant that really helps keep the North Park feel with all of the plants it has around it. Bring drinks if you want; they only have water, root beer, and tea. Cash only but they do have an ATM inside.“
“We generally like Supremo's. But they didn't put ranch on the fries we ordered, like the Callery location does. Good thing we ordered an extra bottle of ranch. Also the bottle of ranch wasn't a squirt container like we're used to getting, it was more like a small bottle of Ken's salad dressing. I prefer the squirt bottles for ease of portion control.“
“This has to be of the the spots I continue to be obsessed week after week. The food is always excellent and the staff is full of friendliness. My go to order is a small with pepperoni and onions with a meatball sandwich and so far I am stuck on that. I would recommend taking a walk around the place before you grab your seat to really embrace the family owned ambience.Dietary restrictions: The gluten free pizza has been named the best in the county!!Kid-friendliness: They have plenty of music and games to keep the kids entertainedWheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs“
“We started with the fried calamari and it was cooked properly not rubbery. Didn't like the tomato sauce served with it cuz it didn't have a whole lot of flavor. We had the pepperoni Margarita Pizza which was pretty good. Our issue with it was that the crust wasn't real chewy and flavor was a little “
“This place is awesome. We order pretty frequently. Still trying new things on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The one topping pizza special is unbeatable. Tonight we tried the stuffed shells and they were very good - we'll definitely order those again. The gyros are super tasty. We enjoy their fried zucchini, be sure to ask for meat sauce - it is so good and I would buy it by the quart if I could.Honestly everything I've tried has been delicious and they're consistent. Always friendly faces working in the shop, it is clearly family owned and has a really nice feel.It is a bit small inside so not great for a large group. They take cash only, there is an ATM in the shopping complex though. They can take a bit to have the order ready if it is a busy night, but it is 100% worth the wait. Order, relax for a bit, and head in hungry.“
“Wow, I’m really surprised by how low these ratings are! I actually really enjoyed this pizza place. They offered really tasty food at a very reasonable price (in fact, better than most other places both price and quality wise). I tried their cheese calzone.First, it was stuffed with a ton of cheese! And, the cheese tasted high quality. It wasn’t too greasy. They had a ton of mozzarella especially, but the creamy ricotta was also very good. No complaints there at all!I thought the calzone looked like it had pepper on it, but it doesn’t. This is just how the bready part is baked I suppose. It’s not too salty at all, and there is a very good ratio of bread to cheese (more cheese than bread). Amazing portion for $12!The sauce on the side was pretty mediocre, nothing special about it. A bit of herbs in there. Kind of a small portion but still decent. All in all, I really liked Pizza Roma Pine. I’m not sure if it’s in any way related to the place in Cheswick (both are amazing), but I’d recommend either of them! Very good, and the rating definitely deserves to be higher.Kid-friendliness: Pizza, hoagies, etc that kids would like“
“The regular plain pizza isn't bad, and I heard people really like their hoagies, but my high ratings all come from ICE CREAM AT CONE ZONE!! (Located within part of same business) they have chocolate, vanilla, and twist soft serve ice cream and they make sundaes, cones, cups, banana splits, milkshakes, a type of blizzard, and even more-- as well as toppings galore! My mom and I love coming down on her work lunch break to walk the puppy down and get a doggy sundae for her. The recently added on a seating area with picnic benches on the side of the building that does not face traffic and as of this week they now have a beautiful ice cream mural on the front of the building where you order through the window. We were so thankful whenever they decided to lengthen the hours that they were open for summer this year. There's absolutely nothing like a medium twist soft serve ice cream with rainbow sprinkles! These guys have got it down. ???Kid-friendliness: Pretty sure ice cream AKA cone zone is about as kid-friendly as it getsParking: Located in Allison Park plaza with much room for parking plus additional parking on side of building (Pasquale's/ cone zone is in a separate building from the strip but right next door)“
“We have been going to this restaurant since 2001. In 2001, they were already in business and had nailed down how to operate for 20 plus years. Food is always delicious and fresh and the atmosphere is comfortable and it’s great place to take the family.“
“This was the first time we tried this place. They have lots of gluten free options too. Most items can be made gluten free. They have multiple pizza options as well as create your own. They have many topping available. We ordered the meat pizza, and it was very good. They have delivery.Dietary restrictions: Most items are also available in gluten free.“
