Great meal this evening at Buona Sera on Washington Street in the Miners Mills Section on WilkesBarre. Large, diverse menu, wonderful Italian cuisine and generous portions. They even had Buffalo Trace bourbon! In addition, the service is unmatched. They are attentive, efficient and come back several times to your table for any additional needs. The food is also wonderfully affordable!

My husband and I are big foodies, but it’s pretty sad when you live in the Pittsburgh area and have to drive 269 miles for four hours and 19 minutes to find excellent authentic northern Italian cuisine. The executive chef at Buona Sera Italian restaurant in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, who is self trained, has totally mastered the art of northern Italian cuisine.
