So many unique selections to choose from. Our entire group was impressed with their meals and our waitress Denise was very fun and efficient. Overall great dining experience. We highly recommend this establishment.
Great date night. Food was fantastic and wife enjoyed the wine flights. Place was busy but we got a table quickly.
We had 6:30 reservations and were greeted by a friendly person who seated us in the upstairs dining room. This was our first visit here. Our servers were very friendly, helpful and well knowledged on the menu. I ordered the corn chowder and meatloaf which came with fried onion stacks , mashed potatoes, asparagus, and mushroom gravy. My only negative comment would be that the soup Was just warm and it could have been hotter. My husband ordered the burger with a few changes and it came exactly as he ordered. The restaurant seems to be well run and we will definitely be returning when we are passing through Wilkes-Barre.
We got extraordinary service from Molly who really took the time to talk to us and make sure our orders were just right. The food was excellent and the drinks were delicious. My only complaint is that they were not able to make me a mango margarita (which to be fair is not on the menu, but they have been making it special for me for many years). Our guests who had never been there before really enjoyed everything and are hoping we will invite them back soon. Well done, Cork!
The food here is absolutely next level. The gumbo is better than what we have had in New Orleans. Excellent cocktails and fabulous lobster night and daily happy hour specials. We drive 45 minutes every week to visit this restaurant and it is worth every minute!
Unbelievable! Had a 6:30 res for upstairs seating , which I made a week ago. Arrived 6:30. We were told there's no upstairs seating because there's a party , or something, lots of people, up there. The explanation was fuzzy. So where to seat us... only bar area or outside, which was empty because of the heat. Bar was packed. There was no plan on their end. They said to wait and something would open up. Then we saw an empty table at the end of the bar but were told we couldn't have it because it was a reservation!!! We had a reservation!!! Told to sit at the end of the bar for 10-15 minutes to wait on a table. Understandably We left.. it was unbelievably loud , which is why I requested upstairs... plus it was our first time at Corks ... what a way to be introduced to a restaurant. Absolutely clueless at customer service. Question: if there was a “party” upstairs why was I able to reserve a week in advance? Did they not check the reservations for that evening? They seemed completely ignorant of the fact we had a reservation... it was right there on the screen... and what to do with us when we arrived. Seemed there was no plan on how to address the lack of seating . Needless to say never going back and not recommending. There are too many other better places to go. I know Mr. Friedman owns many area restaurants. He should consider keeping up with how they're managed and how customers are treated. I realize Corks is not a Michelin Star establishment , but the way diners are treated matters, in every restaurant, no matter what.
Enjoyed celebrating my Aunts 75th Birthday at Cork for Sinatra Sunday! Great food choices and everything was delicious! Service was wonderful!
We went on Thursday night to take advantage of the Frugal Foodie menu. 6:00 reservation. We reserved at a high top in the bar and probably won't do that again. While that area is usually noisy, that night it was even worse. Three women seated at the bar across from our table were extremely loud. I ordered the 8 Oz lobster dinner and was told it had sold out (by 6:00). The 16oz size was still available and because I was really craving lobster, I caved and ordered that instead. The price was double. My husband ordered the sirloin steak and it was flavorful, cooked as ordered, but very tough. Both indoor areas were very crowded and some tables outside. It was woefully understaffed. Drink orders took a long time. Wait staff apologized several times for slow service but they were clearly doing their best. Table bussing and food runners were very good.
We were in town for an event and always try to find unique places. This is how we ended up at the Cork Bar. The restaurant was exactly as described and the experience was amazing. Our server Rachel was great in making sure we had everything necessary for our dining experience. The food was excellent and priced right. Thank you for a great meal. Next time when we are back in Wilkes-Barre, we will make sure to dine at the Cork Bar Restaurant!
Where we were seated the AC air blows directly on the table. Freezing, and I am never cold. Second our waitress : Three of us were dining , after our adult son ordered the waitress comes back and tells him they are out of what he wanted. So he was going to get a burger instead, which is on the menu. Then she proceeds to tell us sorry we don't serve those on the weekend. It's Friday night. So at this point she asks is there anything I can help you with. I say what do you have available because this would be strike three for ordering. Takes over an hour just to get our salads and the restaurant was not very busy at this point. We have been going here for years and by far the worst experience we have ever had. The food is always wonderful but this visit is making second guessing when we will return.

Great food and drinks. Nashville chicken bites are our favorite! Being able to make a reservation on open table makes it super easy.
Phenomenal! It was my 60th birthday celebration and they made it a memorable one. The food was excellent except for the bruschetta, only because the toast it was on was burnt not toasted and you could smell the burnt bread! Other than that it was fabulous!
Wonder waitresses !!!! Find was excellent!!!! The wait staff as very attentive and friendly, I had the pretzel chicken , ATE IT UP!!!! will definitely visit again
Great food, friendly servers. Good choice for our special occasion dinner. Celebrating 56 year anniversary.
Had the short ribs and lobster and both were amazing! The short ribs were fall-apart tender and packed with flavor, and the lobster was super fresh and buttery. Great vibe and friendly service—definitely a spot I'd come back to.
