“Illiano's is by far the best restaurant in the valley. There's something for everyone on the menu. Order the sicilian marinara pizza...thick crust, fresh tomatoes, garlic and plenty of cheese. If you're not happy, it's on you. It's definitely not the food“

“I was at Millers in W-B on 4/27, which was also the night of a concert up the street. It was packed. The staff at the front door were SO NICE! We waited at least 30 min at the bar with no eye contact from either bartender. Then, a man who was I’m assuming a server jumped back and served us. We were so thankful and he was also, SO NICE!!!! We sat at the bar for one hour until our table was ready. I used to bartend, so I get it that you can be busy, but at least acknowledge the customers. I also observed arguing between staff and then apologies. I’m assuming, bc it was busy and the main bar tender was stressed, but take that behind the scenes. When we finally got to our table we had Zachary as our server who was PHENOMENAL!!!!! He knew we had a show to get to. He was attentive, friendly, funny and the BEST! I would probably go back, bc the French dip was delicious, but not on a busy night.“

Everyone raved about the “build your own taco bar.” My favorite part was that Donna came to set up for us (every time), which took so much pressure off of us the morning of our event so we could concentrate on other things.“

I order online through ChineseMenu (yep that's really the website), it's always ready within the 10 to 15 minutes it takes me to arrive, and the food is still perfectly steaming hot when I get back, whatever ancient Chinese proverb they use works. Just the right amount of salty and greasy for me personally, a sinful meal surely but it's far from bland and not "sick after 3 bites" overpowering either. Egg drop soup, pork fried rice, and a beef dish would be my recommendations. Bro at the register is really nice but always busy working so I don't make small talk. A lot of reviews mention delivery issues or the American style food there, I can't speak on either as I haven't tried. But the Chinese takeout is ? ? ?“

It was a 20 minute drive Really did not want to drive that far when I read there ratings and there reviews I knew I had to drive there.\n I ordered my meal\n I am telling you it was the best chinese meal I ever ate in my life\nThey close on Tuesdays bummer I was thinking about going back the following day for lunch. “My husband and I had dinner here on 092725. We started with calamari as our appetizer, and I had the salmon picatta and my husband had a strip steak. We could not have been more pleased. The calamari was excellent and our salads were fresh and delicious. The salmon and steak were cooked to perfection, and our server was very attentive, professional and polite. “We had an overall good experience. Our wait staff was wonderful! Detailed, attentive, unassuming. The young men that were clearing or filling water were excellent too. Our food was delicious. However, it was my mother-in-law’s first visit. She has ambulation issues and walks slowly. We entered the casino floor which is gated off from the shops and restaurants. We did not realize we could not enter the restaurant from our position without going back to the front entrance. There was a gate located about 20 ft from the restaurant and I had hoped that if we asked them to open it for a disabled patron they may be able to help. I called to the (5 or 6) women behind the host station. They looked at me and ignored me. I called out again and a woman came out to talk to us. It was obvious she was unhappy to help. I asked if the gate could bel opened to allow my mother to cross the isle without going all the way back. She (later found out her name was Dawn and she was one of two managers) was dismissive, short and offered no assistance, no empathy. And she finished by saying “this IS a casino”. Which I found insultingly obvious. I suspect she didn’t realize we had a reservation. I suspect Dawn didn’t realize we were going to be her customers. I didn’t mention it - but shouldn’t they be hospitable to even the casino goers? It’s wasn’t a big deal in the scheme of life. But it did put a dark cloud over our dinner. I’ve been to Ruth Chris many times at many different locations. I’ve never been treated poorly. I won’t be returning the Wilkes-Barre location.“

“After spending a night at Trumps rally we needed a good breakfast. Being out of the area, the hotel recommended D's Diner. Great recommendation, food was great at a fair price and service was super. “I do NOT recommend Grotto in Wilkes-Barre. Funny that I click on no, yet it shows that I do recommend it. Anyway, I have always like the Classic Pizza, and needed something for just myself. I looked at the pizza sizes, and a personal is listed as a 9" pie. I ordered that for pick up. I went to get it and was really surprised by the tiny box. I got it home and got out my measuring tape. This pizza was barely 7" and the box itself was barely 9". I was still hungry of course after eating it. I will never order from there again. What a rip off. I went on their website to complain too, and was not contacted by anyone. They obviously don't care about customer service.“
