Barrel 135 Reviews
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner tonight at Barrel 135. My pan seared scallops melted in my mouth and my husband’s steak was cooked to perfection. The tailored cocktails were amazing and our server Kelly was delightful! Check them out if you’re in the area and looking for a unique and pleasant dining experience.
I'm visiting family and my sister surprised us with the fried green tomato salad and parmesan truffle popcorn. O.M.G. I had never had a fried green tomato before and if they taste like this, I have been missing out! Everything was delicious! I highly recommend!
I was super impressed by our server who I believe was also the bartender that night. I can't remember her name, I want to say it was Kelly. When I mentioned I was sober and asked about non-alcoholic beers, she apologized and said they don't have NA beer but immediately offered to make me a mocktail. I was very excited and asked her to surprise me with something tasty. She did and it was amazing! Thank you for accommodating someone that is sober and making my experience a fun one!

Barrel 135 is a trendy, higher-scale restaurant that serves exceptional food and drinks. The menu offers unique dishes, such as kalbi poutine, Beef Tataki, 'Nduja Bruschetta, Sundried Tomato and Italian Sausage Tagliatelle, Grilled Chicken Souvlaki, short rib ramen, and the Fried Chicken Sandwich, which is a favorite among many guests. One customer described the buttermilk chicken sandwich as one of the best lunch sandwiches ever, noting the chicken's perfect crispy and juicy texture with tons of flavor. The restaurant is small and narrow, with limited seating, both indoors and outdoors in the alley. While the seating can be tight and loud, the food and cocktails make up for it. Guests have praised the service, highlighting the amazing job done by the two women who ran the restaurant, serving and making drinks efficiently for a large table. The cocktail menu features creative drinks like the Tart Berry Martini and Smoky Paloma, and guests have found the cocktails to be great. Despite some minor issues with communication and seating comfort, the service is generally good, with friendly and warm staff. The menu changes every couple of months, making it a great spot to revisit. The desserts, including death by chocolate cake, cheesecake, and espresso mousse, are also a highlight. Overall, Barrel 135 is a fantastic spot for those looking for a unique dining experience with excellent food and drinks, and it has become a must-visit for both brunch and dinner.
