“For being a bar, it was actually pretty nice for sitting down to eat. The waitress was super friendly and the food was surprisingly good. I got the nachos and and buffalo chicken cheese steak. I'd go there again, especially if I was in the mood to drink too because they had a solid beer selection with a few nicer craft options. I also saw they had a good selection of beer to go which is a bonus.“

“Ordered a chicken pesto Stromboli and one of the reasons was the sun dried tomato’s. Unfortunately it came with regular tomatoes which made it watery. Sun-dried tomatoes are more expensive than plum tomatoes and the flavor is very different.if they were not available the server should have mentioned and the price should reflect the difference. Very disappointed and only had a couple bites.“

“I had dinner with my wife on Friday night. We live 2 blocks away. Normally we stop in to a have few drinks and get some apps, which are always good. Last night I tried some of the dinner choices. I couldn’t decide so I got the Seafood Gumbo which was outstanding. Then I got the Southern Fried CatFish with the mustard sauce, which was amazing. They were both big portions, (I didn’t finish either, although I tried, haha). My wife had buffalo cauliflower and dry Cajun wings which were both really good. The food is a hidden gem that we have in Palmyra, the prices are good and the service is always great. We had the young guy with hat and he was awesome. The bartenders even jump out to make sure the tables are ok. The acoustic guy playing was just right also. I know the owners have worked hard to keep 5 West going the last few years. Keep up the Great work!!“

“This is a great neighborhood bar with very professional and friendly bartenders and the customers tend to be very polite nice no no fights breaking out or anything like that. And they got to 8 out of 10 tables that could probably use a felting but they're very serviceable.“

“Listen... nuff said when u order Mozz Sticks and the sauce, which I never eat, is what makes the night but if you think the stick itself is regular, you err, everything about this bar is 100. “A home away from home for Commanders fans living in Philadelphia. Old Bay is featured heavily on the menu, as it should be. They easily accommodated our walk in party of 14 and put up with us playing "Hail To The Redskins" on the jukebox repeatedly.

“This place is cool! Our band played there with one other band, and the sound was amazing! The atmosphere is super-comfortable. Just like a neighborhood hangout spot with pool tables, darts, lots of TVs with the game on. Real wood paneling - like a really welcoming, homey feel. All decorated for the holidays. You can just relax right into the place. And Archie is the coolest. The soundman and the bartender also were both stellar. Just a really cool place.“

Bartenders need to learn how to work the remote for the music , It is Bose system that you can adjust for each end of the bar and the right channel is off along with the bass . lol I always listen to music when I am there .“
