The owner was just so sweet and the staff so kind and willing to go above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. Definitely 10/10 for service and the food was WONDERFUL! Thank you all for helping make the party a success! Will definitely be back for dinner again. If I could give it more stars I would! Highly recommend!!!”

“I ordered a large stromboli and garlic knots yesterday around 3pm. When I arrived to pick up my order it was not busy and no vehicles were in the parking lot and my order was sitting on top of the pizza oven. When I got home we cut the stromboli and the cheese wasn't even melted! it was cold in the middle!!! totally unacceptable!! I had to bake the stromboli in my oven to finish cooking it... the garlic knots weren't soggy and had so much bitter garlic they were inedible!!! I was very disappointed with the quality of my order. Being that my order was just sitting on top of the pizza oven boxed up it could have been cooked longer, obviously there was time!! When the owner is working my food is always perfect and always delicious!! But yesterday I did not see him and it shows in the food quality!! And support local fee?? what?? Is that a new tax???”

“Absolutely the worst. . Has a bad reputation in the area. Manager on last visit was extremely rude. They forgot our order and after a half hour waiting he grabbed our receipt didn't apologize and proceeded to throw our order on the tray. Complaint to corporate got no response. Won't go back.”

“I just came into Scott’s By Dam by happenstance in the middle of the day for lunch. I was so pleasantly surprised with the excellent price, ambiance and the friendly staff. Scott did such an excellent job at making me feel welcome and valued. The food quantity was enormous as well, the large Buffalo chicken taco was massive as well as delicious. I highly recommend coming to try the food and meeting the wonderful people here.”

“Takumi has a great menu. There is a lot of variety to choose from. Unfortunately, I thought the chicken ramen stir fry I got was a bit bland and lacked flavor. However, the restaurant is nice and seems to be well kept. Our favorite is the fruit tea with popping bubbles. The servers are very friendly. Overall, I really like this little place.”

I love the building — it has old-world diner vibes, and good sconce lighting in the back room. The prices are great for the good quality. The fried chicken is juicy and delicious! Most breakfast spots in Johnstown close early, so this place is a lifesaver after long church days.”
