“Wow! Returning from a trip, my wife was showing early signs of hangriness. A quick internet search showed this place which we had driven by many times without noticing. It’s not well marked for people racing home off of I-80. GPS took us right there. Glad we found it. Great food, great service, friendly staff. Will make it our go to place to and from I-80!”

“It was late when we arrived in Clearfield. On a Tuesday night, there are not many options. Let me tell you we hit the jackpot. My husband and I both ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger with a side salad. The sandwich arrived on a fresh bun, and the salad was just what I imagined. The service was friendly and attentive. Don’t think twice! GO TO THE TOASTED MONKEY!”

“Positives: the view is gorgeous, wish we could have sat outside but with a toddler that was probably asking for trouble. Our server was very friendly, as was another server that just stopped to answer a question.

Cons: ordered my daughter's food with our drinks so it would come out quicker, it was the last dish to the table. Small issues with our actual order, like my sandwich was wrong and my side of Mac didn't get ordered. Thought food would come out a little quicker since the place was very quiet, but still took a bit.

Overall it wasn't a bad experience, just very ok. Definitely willing to give it another try, maybe with friends on a night out or to watch a game, cause those TVs would be perfect for it.”

“Traveling up from Texas, everybody made us feel so welcome. For a bar, the food was fantastic! Fresh cut fries at a bar? Crazy good. Philly steak sandwich was sliced, not shaved. Very tasty. They feed their guests like family. Great jukebox. Darts and pool. The people, behind the bar and on the barstools, make this place extra special. Love, love, loved it!”

Having a healthy alternative to the big chain coffee houses is wonderful for our town!!”

“This is the best pizza place in the Philipsburg area. I would recommend it to anyone. The pizza is so delicious, fresh, hot , perfectly cooked . And done in a timely manner. I also love that you can add some extra pizzaz, not that it’s needed, ( spices, Parmesan cheese, etc.) before you leave. The staff are very curtious, friendly and helpful as well.”
