“When I first tried Dave's, it was amazing!! Sadly, the quality of the finished product began to decline, many times the food would be room Temperature and the chicken was dry. The great mix of classic rock, yacht rock, pop, and old school Motown started evolving into urban, hip-hop, rap, and even hardcore with explicit lyrics. However, it appears that upper management has literally cleaned house, and trained an entirely new team and manager, creating a wonderful, culturally diverse crew. The music reverted to the mix it was always meant to be, and the food was back to excellent! Perfectly cooked, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside, and still hot when you arrive to pick up your order! Great job, and a great place to take out from or eat in. Once again. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner tonight and commend them on taking the difficult steps to turn this location around, heading back in the right direction!! “Finally, a chicken place that knows how to make something spicy and make the spice taste good.

I’ve always had a strong spice tolerance, and the “angry spicy” was intense and delicious. Normally, other restaurants either make their hottest dish “American spicy” or the taste is terrible. Not here.

Be warned, the “angry spicy” rivals other Indian restaurants that tout their “Indian spicy” meals. Will definitely be coming back.“

“After bbq updated there menu I kept getting the rice around a year ago in 2025 its became my favorite food all the way to 2026 now and it’s still is it may be a little expensive but for the protein you get it’s all but worth it with the egg on top when my brother eat the rice for the frist time he said we have to figure out how they make the egg I’ve been eating from this place since it came out and the rice since it’s been added to the menu as well delivers fast cooked fast And the chicken in the rice is so good it’s good enough that it could be it’s on dish as well as the egg that’s why I love this dish so much because there so much variation in this dish it’s like 5 dishes combined 10 out of 10 recommend“

“Just went in this week for the first time, ordered two of the "smaller" sandwiches...They weren't really small, two big chicken fingers on the roll, it was very filling. I got the hot and loved it, had a real bite to it but great flavor. Wife got medium hot liked the flavor but she doesn't like hot as much as I do so mild next time. went back tonight, I got the sandwich again, next time I'm gonna be brave and get the real hot, she got wings (mild) and was very happy with them, said weren't hot but had great flavor. Also got the funnel cake sticks, nice dessert. Definitely will be a regular customer.“

“I can't tell you how refreshing it is to find a place that is both excellent and inexpensive. For $15 you can get two chicken sandwiches and a good amount of fries. Many other places charge $15 for a single sandwich.But not only is it inexpensive, it is delicious. We've been several times now, and the chicken is always freshly fried and cooked to perfection with the perfect balance of jucieness and crispyness. Sandwiches come with pickles, coleslaw, and your choice of sauce. I recommend the hot honey. The fries are seasoned and good as well.I frequently order fried chicken sandwiches when I'm out and I see them on the menu. This place is one of the best in the city. “The food is delicious. I’ve went to a nice amount of these stores and this one tops them all. I recently went to another store because it was closer to me and I regretted it. The portions are beyond expectations and the prices are less than other stores too. The customer service is phenomenal. Told them I had to make my bus and they made sure I did.“

“Have been going to the Chick-fil-a in Quakertown and Lansdale and as eat-in diners have had the feeling of being very low priority. They are focused on their drive-thru and take out business. This one in Montgomeryville was GREAT!! Super service and when the food came an additional little pack of a hand wipe and mint was included per person. What a nice gesture! Definitely will be stopping there again as we felt welcome and appreciated as customers that is sadly lacking at the other “drive-thru” locations!“

“This location is better than the one on Frankford avenue Near the Wawa in the 7-Eleven and Polo campero and the one on Grant avenue by the boulevard The worst ones are those two including the one in levittown This one has the best fried chicken They took good care of me They gave me great service and when I asked them to replace things They will do it for me unlike those three locations which are very cocky sometimes The atmosphere four stars because there was some trash on the floor but overall it's pretty clean for this location in this area. Highly recommend you come here. They serve you fresh chicken instead of old whatever the hell they serve you and other locations.“

I am sad that there isn't a location in South Jersey, but this one is close enough that I'll occasionally make the drive and pay the $3 toll. Please open a Jollibee in South Jersey!
