“We went a few miles past KFC, Willow Grove, to get this chicken because Willow Grove was unresponsive to phone calls and inquiries. We contacted Wyncote and they were very helpful, cooperative and kind. A world of difference and much appreciated!!“

“The food is great! As usual there was a wait for my food not a problem with that.. however they gave my food away and after 20 mins wait the lady told me that they gave my food away I said ok! She said it looks like you have to wait for the food no apologies no nothing 3 mins later a lady did come and speak to me and offer her apologies for the inconvenience she did offer me some fries or a soft drink, I picked the soft drink!“

“I stumbled upon this great spot that serves an amazing Chilli Paneer Pizza – it's really something with its spicy kick and cheesy goodness. And the Achari Chicken Wings? “This place has been on my list for some time and I was fortunate to visit at a downtime. Amongst a city full of pizza shops, Down North stands out among the greats. ENVIRONMENT The restaurant is relatively easy to find and seats no more than 5 or so people in the shop. The wait was a tad excessive which I credited to the food being "made with love". FOOD I love a good piece of focaccia! Another contributor commented that their pizza can be likened to focaccia which I would find to be incredibly accurate. The "Detroit" style was incredibly flavorful accompanied by a heaping of toppings(I settled on the "I'm A Boss"). I will admit the fries left a bit much to be desired but not enough to influence my rating. If you're based anywhere in North Philly between Farimount and Erie Ave, I can confidently say Down North is among the top three picks for the area. Happy eating!“

“Great spot. Staff is so friendly. They have a spacious deck with a large projector to watch the games! Food and drinks are tasty. We had some green tea shots which are apparently made in house and on tap and they taste exactly as they should. I will deff be back and highly recommend!“

“I've had their chicken quite a few times and it is always good. I decided to try something else on their menu, I picked the shrimp fried rice. Now theirs were a little different from the regular Chinese shrimp fried. They put cheese in it! Yes you saw it Cheese, I'm not sure if this was a Korean cheese or something else. The was like a Mozzarella cheese and it had A very good cheese pull they all put egg in it. Not chopped up but a whole cooked in the middle of the rice. Picture a layer of rice then a layer of egg and cheese and another layer of rice. What I like is that they used a Styrofoam carryout container but they used aluminum foil in the container That's a plus for me.“

“I cannot get enough of their donuts and I LOVE this location! It's clean, the customer service is amazing and so are the donuts! I posted a picture of the donuts I got today and two Black Sesame donuts didn't quite make it. Lol. All of the flavors are good but my favorite flavor is Black Sesame and my daughter lives Nutella, Strawberry and Oreo and she loves their wings.“

Although you wouldn't be able to tell from outside, this is a nice, quiet little gem.We were seated immediately by our waiter. Last night one of the items in our order was mixed up & we didn't realize until we came home from picking it up. I called and they were so find & gracious! “We got delivery from here because we saw good reviews on Grubhub and have heard good things. Thankfully they did not disappoint. The wings were nice and crispy, and the 3 sauces we got were great. We got the bourbon honey mustard, polynesian and harvest apple. We weren't really looking for traditional buffalo and these were all more on the sweet/tangy side. The sauces were great to where I didn't even dip them into anything. The tater tots were good. The seasoning was on the salty side but not overpowering. “Absolutely love this place. The food is delicious and has become our go to. We recently had it at a holiday party and thought it tasted so good and so familiar. We didn't specify for naked or regular.The pizza was good, and the garlic sauce they put on was excellent. The crust has a nice flavor and it's not too greasy. The only knock I have was the cheese. It's not as stretchy or as tasty as you would expect. “This place is UNDERRATED!! Expectations were LOW, as a matter of fact, I was bummed they ordered it! Smelled amazing when I picked it up, the guy carried it out to the car ("it was hot"), and the ordering process was so easy!! If there is ever a moment when you are craving for some juicy savory wings, make your way over to Chocolate Swirl! I promise they will take good care of you! For starters, the owner puts a lot of TLC into their craft as he takes his time preparing the food to perfection. The items I had today are the BBQ wings and their Fries and both of then really hit the spot! The Wings are juicy and tender as expected, and did not dry out as I was munching on them the whole time. It was really hard to put then down! Further more, the wings themselves are jumbo sized, so you are getting a lot of flavor for your dollar here. As for the fries, they have a little crisp to them on the outside which I greatly appreciate, and they are seasoned very well! Practically to the point where ketchup was not needed. (I did try it with Ketchup, and it is still really good.) The seasoning was not overbearing and everything was in unison with each other. But most importantly, the customer service is on point. The owner and I chatted for a bit while the food was being prepared, and let me get a good look at how he does his craft. This is a chef who will definately take good care of you, and I highly urge you all to hit his spot up. Next time I visit, I'm trying their burgers out! I'm looking forward to that one!“

Talia was patient, explaining menu items and options.Food: Chicken wings with buffalo sauce. Tasted good but could have used more sauce. Fries well done and Green Tea was nicely sweaten. Wait time 20 min for the food, cooked when ordered.It is pricey, all sold separately.On this day was steady with customers.Front and side nice seating area. But in the rear table(s) cluttered with boxes.Worth visiting!“

“Very yummy and fresh. As you can see in the pic of the burger, I bit it already so you can see the lettuce, mayo, tomatoes and onion are crunchy fresh! Love their buns too they have a slight buttery texture to them, but you have to eat them while they’re still hot! Coleslaw is good too. Also I did get with my order of chicken tenders(5)a bowl of potatoes and gravy, and a biscuit, it was all very good food. Love that the mashed potatoes were not that nasty box stuff you get from other places, I can see a couple of micro potato skins in there so I know they made it from scratch! I would suggest however that if you hop by this place do remind them to get you some condiments and napkins. Very good food for the price.“

“I tried chicken and tteokbokki here. You can choose chicken in small, medium, and large sizes, and the small size costs about $15 for one person (picture attached). You can choose between Korean BBQ, Soy Galic, and Spicy sauce, but I personally recommend soy galic. You can also choose half and half sauce. Don't expect the taste to be the same as Kyochon Chicken, but if you go when you miss chicken a lot, you will be somewhat satisfied. (But the Coleslaw tasted better than I expected.) The tteokbokki was also really delicious, so I recommend it. The price is reasonable and the staff is so friendly that I would like to go again.“

“Wow I been here once and I'm dreaming of this place still! Workers are crazy nice! Some seating inside and a restroom inside. Donuts are cake donuts, they have some hot and fresh (only few flavors) and some premade - all cake donuts I don't like cake donuts, but I loveeee the cake donuts here. The chocolate has to be my favorite! The glaze was good too. The banana was a no for me, had a weird taste. The strawberry lavender is super messy but so good and only good fresh bc all the sugar. The fried chicken sandwich is good , was a tad salty but juicy and crispy. The egg sandwich was good, had a spicy pepper jam sauce but was good! The fries were good and crispy, and huge portion! They also have fried chicken sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches“

“One of the very few places around where you can get food at a reasonable price. Unlike many they haven't raised their prices to an over excessive amount. Which is why they are getting the business. Other businesses may want to copy what they are doing instead of being greedy and over charging customers for food that should remain at a reasonable price for business.“

“Food is good but the guy who answers the phone is rude. Maybe get someone to specifically answer the phones who's pleasant. I ordered Uber eats and wanted to change something on my order but the app doesn't give you the option so I called as soon as I placed the order. “I have been coming to this place for about two years now and I am definitely not one to write reviews at all, but this place really deserves it. I am a senior in highschool and the chef john is the nicest and humblest man i know. He is kind to every customer and makes amazing food (I like the garlic rice bowl the best). Today, he saw that i wasn’t eating and came over to me directly with my favorite order. I didn’t mention that I was fasting for the month of ramadan. This just goes to show his character and i hope that he gets all the customers he deserves“
