Disappointed from the brisket. Dry, small and too expensive. But had to give 3star cause my girlfriend had one of their all dress hotdogs and it was very good. Service was a bit lacking young guy looked like he didn’t want to be there.
Not so cheap, however it's a really good meat.
Brisket was good
Moo Moo BBQ in Avonlea Village offers good food with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. The food hits a spot, with every item being delicious. The mix of sauces and coleslaw/pickles with the meat, be it brisket or sausage, is exquisite. The grilled cheese sandwich, made with local Cows cheese, is both decadent and memorable. The turkey club is the best sandwich ever, and the pulled pork is OK. The BBQ sauce and Mac and cheese are good. However, the cost is ridiculous; a grilled sandwich is $16, a sausage with no bun is $6, and a $9 grilled cheese is off-putting. The brisket was the toughest ever eaten, though the flavour was good. The grilled cheese had minimal cheese and no real taste outside of buttery bread, but the tomato soup was great. The staff is always friendly, with one gentleman going above and beyond. A kids meal with juice is now available. Parking is outside the old train station with a little walk, but it is free. This spot is visited every time in PEI, as the kids love the grilled cheese.
