“We arrived late in Lisbon and stumbled into this great restaurant in central Lisbon. The restaurant is located next to the Santa Justa Hotel in central Lisbon. We order a portion of grill wild turbot which was delicious and enough for two of us. The meal was so nice, we returned every day to this restaurant during our stay to try other fish dishes. We have tried grilled whole wild seabass and whole wild seabeam. Those were also gorgeous. The restaurant is own by the same family since 1967. We were served by Paolo who spoke perfect English and very friendly. His father owns the restaurant and his mother is the head chef in the kitchen. They place bread on every table but you can ask for it to be removed if you don’t want it and will not be charged. They add 10% service charge to the bill and this common in central Lisbon. The price for the food in this restaurant is very reasonable. We noticed a lot of local people eat in this restaurant not just tourists. I highly recommend the grilled wild fish dishes, they are beautifully cooked and fresh. The restaurant also serves suckling pig from Mealhada every Friday, which is also very delicious. The restaurant close on Saturday but open every day until 10:00pm. We will definitely return to this restaurant when we next visit Lisbon.“
