“The best octopus restaurant in Portugal is this one.
Definitely take the house specialty octopus and also take the special bread (garlic bread).
Impossible to be disappointed if you like octopus. The sauce and flavor of the octopus mixture is a delight.
I recommend this address for octopus lovers.“

“Husband and I had lunch at this restaurant during our walk at Afurada, a quaint fisherman village just across from Porto. We were attracted by the busy grill and many locals occupying the restaurant’s tables. We ordered grilled cod and grill squid; and the food took our breath away! Price was reasonable. Service was polite and prompt. Premises were clean. We couldn’t ask for more.“

“A great surprise at the Terra Ó Mar restaurant! I went for the first time with a friend and I was delighted with the homemade seafood rice. I returned again with other people, both family and professional, and I can see | we have proven that this dish has excellent quality versus quantity. It was accompanied with a top of the house sparkling wine. I recommend you try it! You won't regret it. PS I appreciate the always friendly and welcoming way you welcome customers. Thanks.“
“This place makes me feel like I’m in Mayfair with the amazing level of service. Food was cooked to perfection! The omelette was to die for! Honestly. Chips hand cut, and prawns some of the best I’ve ever had. The waiter Carlos was amazing. First time I didn’t need to explain what an Americano was since I’ve been in Portugal too! Lovely jazz music playing all evening, but we could still hear our food being cooked!
Kid-friendliness: Family friendly!“

“Go NOW! This was such a wonderful experience and the food was PERFECT. Nothing fancy on the outside but inside is a gem. Beautiful white tablecloths, reasonable prices, and food again, PERFECT. We had recommended menu items from the owner (as we speak no Portuguese & he speaks some English). Service was outstanding. It’s worth a drive here if it’s out of your way.“

“Service was attentive and attentive. We had to reserve a table because it fills up quickly. We had picanha and seafood and it was an excellent choice.
Parking: The worst thing about this restaurant is the location, the parking spaces are not many and the cars are on the road.“

“I sometimes go for a mixed grill dinner. The staff are friendly, very accessible and the price is also attractive. So far I have liked it, because it is well served. The desserts are also good (pudding, oreo mousse, biscuit cake)Sometimes the restaurant is very busy and the noise becomes unsustainable.“

“Nice place, spacious and good food.
There is a lot of variety of food, apart from the desserts which have few options, the place is pleasant and with a beautiful decor. Friendly staff but they seem very discouraged, otherwise everything is a 10. ??“

“We went there at 21:15 more or less, when there were already lots of free seats. We had previously seen the menu and already knew what we wanted to try: the "Sopa Rica do Mar" ("Rich Sea Soup"). It should be noted that fish soup is a typical dish in Portugal, with different regions cooking it in slightly different fashions. It is invariably an apparently simple dish. However, this one fish soup, while looking simple, had really some original touch from the cook and owner of the restaurant, D.ª Rosa. The fish and seafood were notably good quality, certainly bought on that same day. At the bottom of the bowl, there were the mandatory pieces of delicious bread from Alentejo region. In summary, this was the best fish soup that we ever tasted, and the best dish that we have ever tasted at Zambujeira do Mar (we spend some time there every year). We had the chance to personally meet D.ª Rosa, who, besides being a remarkable cook, is a very charming and kind lady.“
“When we pulled up we nearly drove on. However we live in Portugal and know that some of the best places don't look much from the outside. So glad we stopped. We had fantastic whole grilled sea bass and whole grilled sea bream (robelo and dourada) served with portuguese vegetables and delicious grill roasted potatoes. The grilling of the fish was perfect, moist and charred in the right places. Fish was on the bone but cut in a way so you didn't need to flip it to eat it. They also have great dessert with my wife living the camel drool ( google it). All in all a great typically Portuguese meal. Simple and delicious.“
“I absolutely love the Francesinhas here! Their sauce is absolutely on point and not completely overwhelming, fat and heavy like other places, as well as their fries - thin, fresh and crispy. Every time I come visit in Barcelos, I have to make the time to come eat a Francesinha at MyPlace! I love the atmosphere, feels at home, and the owners are very friendly and accommodating.
Parking: You can also easily double park and just keep an easy eye out from your table, no sweat, everyone does it.“

“Amazing food, lovely ambiance. We had parma ham and cheese to start which was good, and prawn and veal skewers for our mains - these were cooked to perfection! Would definitely recommend. We had to book a table for the evening, as they are usual busy. Our hotel was opposite and it was a popular place to go… it’s a bit tucked away as not on the main strip, which is nice. A bit of a hidden gem!“

“Great place for some snacks and seafood either inside or on the terrace. Menu with varied options even for those who don't like seafood. Friendly and attentive staff but rather slow service.
Vegetarian options: No vegetarian menu. You need to ask in advance to find a vegetarian option.“
