It is a family team that is already in its third generation and hence maintains the spirit of dedication to the customer. The Turbot came with turnip greens and boiled potatoes, black olives and two slices of lemon. “A great place to eat on the water front. We came across this restaurant whilst walking past and decided to give it a try. We are glad we did. We were seated inside on a very hot day which was ideal. The waiter was very friendly and guided us through the menu. For a starter we had olives, a selection of breads with tuna pate. For the main we shared the local cod dish with prawns etc., topped with potatoes. This was delicious and we ate the whole dish !. For desert we had the tart which the waiter poured whisky on which made for a superb finish !. We also had a bottle of the local white wine. We would definitely visit again.“

The prices are more than you would generally pay in Porto but everything we had was excellent. It is really fine dining on the beach! We choose to order a number of small plates to share prawns, salmon, codfish, fries and salad, along with a bottle of rose.
