“Already a regular customer at Casa da Guripa, I decided to return for another lunch and, as always, the experience was quite satisfactory. We started with the starters, which included prawns in tempura and clams bulhão pato, both deliciously prepared and fresh. The main dish, sea rice, was simply divine, full of flavor and fresh marine ingredients. The restaurant's atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is very friendly, which helps to make the meal even more enjoyable. I will certainly be back to enjoy another meal at this charming restaurant.“

“This place has, without any sort of doubt, the absolute best arroz de tomate (tomato rice) in the whole country. Manjar do Marquês in Pombal has nothing on this. I am portuguese. I travel 300km sometimes just to eat this arroz de tomate. ❤️ also, the fish is absolutely stunning and the owners are beautiful people. If you go to Porto, be sure to call and have dinner here. If you're lucky enough, they'll have you :) (no, no one asked me to write this. Thank me later)“

“It seems to be one of the few restaurants in the area open for Monday lunch and was busy when I visited. Disappointingly for me as a solo diner most of the fish dishes are for two people. Exceptions were squid skewers, which were not available and salmon steak, so I had the salmon. I started with a plate of padron peppers, which were good though very salty. I was sitting opposite the cold cabinet of fish which looked like they were not that morning's catch - perhaps that is usual for restaurants at Monday lunchtime. My salmon steak was well cooked but on the salty side. I finished with dessert and a coffee and had a half bottle of wine. The bill came to 27 euros.“

“Very pleasant. Fresh fish of excellent quality and well prepared. Friendly, pleasant staff and quick service.Very family atmosphere.Affordable prices. The only thing to point out, even though we booked a table in advance, we had to wait more than 1h30 for a table.“

“Delicious food and generous portions! I had the pilgrims menu for €15 which included a drink (I had a glass of vino verde), bread, olives and spreads, soup, a main of baby squids, potatoes and vegetables, a creme brulee for dessert and a coffee! The portions were very generous and the food was fresh and delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and formal inside to the point where I was worried they would look down on me for having the pilgrims menu but the staff were so attentive and lovely to me. Highly recommend!“
“Our favourite local restaurant when staying in this area either at Pine Cliffs or Falésia Hotel . Excellent seafood with friendly and efficient service. My husband grew up in Portugal and they do his favourite pudding caramel. Very good value for money too. Highly recommended“

“Nice space, friendly service, but slow service (we waited almost 1 hour for our order). The portions served are very generous for the price, and tasty. The squid kebab was good, but it seemed to have not only olive oil but also oil… Regardless, I liked it!“
