“It’s really good especially considering it’s a hotel restaurant. You can’t beat the exterior and ambiance. Beautiful arches! The service is fantastic, so fantastic. The food is on the higher end price wise but also quality wise. Everything we had was delicious. The porco preto basically melted in my mouth. I don’t like meringue but their dessert was beautiful, interactive, and not too sweet. It was honestly a great meal even though we were exhausted that night. We had the red wine that’s made there, and it was very good. They also gave us glasses of champagne that’s made there (well sparkling wine) which is our favorite way to start a meal! Even better we were able to bring what we couldn’t finish to our room.”

“Tasty dinner, the concept of the place is sharing, we took mushrooms sautéed with onion and garlic, veal with pepper, cod (they were also spiced bruschetta with garlic, onion and vinegar), roasted prawns and to finish instead of dessert we chose figs with ham and basil.
Everything was excellent, dishes cooked with passion, an environment suitable for couples or special dinners. Nice environment, friendly staff”

“The ambiance and service feel rather upscale. A small appetizer is served. There are a few vegan options. Both of the dishes we chose were very tasty, and the food was served fairly quickly. Definitely worth stopping by.”

“Fantastic! With no choice (and thank goodness), we were served authentic wonders, from dates with bacon to beef tongue sandwiches and even the best pudding, which was made from mountain cheese!!!! This cozy space has a different concept, as the menu changes daily according to fresh local products! A true gem in Évora! I will come back as often as possible!

My initial 1star review was based off of the only experience I had with Crema di Latte which was frustrating.

But due to the team reaching to, empathizing with my frustration and apologizing for the situation, I’m updating my review to reflect my overall experience.

It can’t be 5 stars because my experience wasn’t perfect. But I’ll leave 4 because I know reviews are important for small businesses and they have a great reputation.

“Wonderful experience at Botequim da Mouraria. We arrived 15 minutes before opening and secured a cozy spot. We tried a few dishes, each delicately flavored and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and satisfying. It was a lovely way to end our trip to Evora.”

“It's a very nice burger spot, I can't deny it. The burger is delicious, but it feels like a bit undercooked. They were too shy to ask how we wanted it, like they were afraid to get too personal. For the buns, they could use a little excitement. They were a bit boring. As for the fries, they're amazing with that aromatic seasoning, but they were a bit too oily. Maybe they could search YouTube for "how to get rid of excessive oil." Overall, I liked it! It's definitely worth a try ?.”

“It hasn't been the best restaurant in the world, but at least the bao are very delicious. The francesinha could improve (compared to what a Portuguese francesinha is) and the ramen lacked a little more flavor, but overall good.”

All accompanied by a 15° red from Tiago Cabaço, from the tasty Alicante Boushet grape.”

“If you want amazing pork, migas and coffee, go here! The black pork was so succulent, and the migas was to die for! The staff were so kind, and even though I didn't speak much Portugese I felt right at home. For the quality of the food, the prices are excellent as well - I would have paid double! 10/10!!”

“We stopped to have a coffee at breakfast time, we were happy. They have an indoor area and also some tables on the outdoor terrace, next to the door. Correct prices. Despite being two blocks from the central square of Évora, it was full of local people, which always speaks well of a place.”

“We stopped for dinner on Sunday evening, the food was truly delicious and the place was very nice and clean. It is a place where typical dishes and products from the area are served. The portions are very generous. The menu is available in English, French and Spanish, as well as Portuguese of course. The typical dishes of the day are only listed on the Portuguese menu so I recommend you take a look at it and ask the waiters for information, the staff is very kind and helpful, they speak English and understand Italian. It was a truly pleasant experience and we recommend it.”

“My favorite Zen place. Diverse staff with different tastes, from board games, video, etc.
Everyone is included, whether they are regulars at the place or new to the environment. It's fantastic to go there and draw while listening to the hustle and bustle of the place. I have always been welcomed here with open arms.”

They mentioned that Secretos would be served with crumbs. Therefore, we ordered this dish, however the migas only came halfway through the meal and were charged separately.
