“I visited Tago's restaurant for the first time and the experience was unforgettable. Situated on the south bank, the place offers a superb view over the Tagus River and the city of Lisbon, in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature, where silence prevails and provides a peaceful environment.
The Chef's kitchen is a true work of art, with elaborate dishes that combine flavors and colors in an exquisite way, providing unique gastronomic satisfaction. Every detail of the culinary creations is designed to delight the senses.
In addition to the excellent cuisine, the service is also worth highlighting. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, showing special care in serving both national and foreign customers. Without a doubt, Tago's is a place worth visiting, whether for the stunning landscape or the high quality of the food and service.
Parking: Parking is within the farm property where the restaurant is located.“

“Interesting place with friendly staff who are always available. For my first experience, I can say that I liked it.
We stayed on the first floor where the decoration leaves a little to be desired, the space would benefit a lot from more careful and comfortable decoration. Especially because on the 1st floor you can have a beautiful view over the Tagus River, and at the end of what was a summer night, the views are very beautiful.
As for the food, everything was good, with nothing to write home about. The meat was very good as was the possum and all the accompaniments.
The red fruit sangria was delicious.
The price is not completely inappropriate, but given that it is a dish in which the customer ends up cooking the food himself, it could be more "friendly". We paid €72 for two people for an Argentine carvoada, a liter sangria and two coffees. A little "inflated", but the quality was there.
Parking: Easy to find a seat near the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: It has several dishes that may be suitable for children.“

“We dined at this family restaurant (more correctly, a tavern) in May 2024
The service is polite, the elderly waiter is extremely attentive and helpful. True, he confused fish and meat for us, but afterwards he was sincerely worried! But the wine recommendation was right on target!
The atmosphere is classically Portuguese - a large room, smells from the kitchen (at the height of cooking there is even a little haze in the room), everything is amazingly delicious. The portions are huge, for example seafood with rice - they bring a whole bowl of food! How can you eat this alone? :) I had to take it with me, in a convenient foil container.
You can also cook it yourself on mini-barbecues (from pots), it doesn’t sound very good, it also looks a little strange, but people ordered it in front of us and were happy! In general, whoever wants to participate a little in the process - this is it!
River view from the window. Street parking is ample.
The bill for two is around 70 (two main courses and a bottle of wine). You can choose cheaper if you set a goal. Light snacks before meals are served free of charge - olives, sliced sausages in sauce and bread.
Overall - I liked it! (considering that in a neighboring restaurant we were offered seats in the back of the hall, the rest of the tables were “reserved”)“

“I visited this restaurant in Lisbon outside of the city center through a recommendation.
Since then it has become a favorite in Lisbon: It is a down-to-earth family business with very friendly staff and top food at reasonable prices.“
“Out in Almada, looking for an evening meal, I found this cafe with quite a few locals drinking beer or coffee, but no-one actually eating a meal. I asked what food they had and was offered sandwiches or steak and chips. I asked for the steak and was seated at a table with my beer - together with olives, bread, butter and sardine pate. The meal arrived remarkably quickly with steak topped with a fried egg and a few onions, chips, rice and salad. At first I thpught the steak was about the size of the fried egg, but soon found it stretched under the chips, too. All hot (except the salad!) and very tasty. A further beer was required. I spotted a cake in the chiller and had a delicious piece with my coffee. The bill 10€ - amazing.“
“Lunch today at Nova Churrasqueira in Monte de Caparica, fast, attentive and friendly service, starter bread and olives, house red wine in a jug, pleasant, very well prepared green bean soup, for the main dish the house specialty is chicken barbecue, delicious and well seasoned, for dessert an average rice pudding, I'm a fan of rice pudding. Very good price-quality ratio! Place to register on my cell phone!“

“This is one of my favorite places in Lisbon.
An excellent example of traditional Portuguese cuisine, well executed with simple techniques.
Excellent product and very good treatment of it.
The dishes are abundant, especially the main ones.
Attentive and fun service. You leave the premises with a smile and the desire to return.
The place is a bit small and gets a little noisy when there are a lot of people, which is usually the case.
It is advisable to reserve in advance.“

“We went there for dinner and it was honestly one of the best restaurants I've ever been too.
Nice vibes, small but spacious and wonderful staff.
The food was INCREDIBLE! We had the Tuna Tataki, Tuna Tartar, Ceviche, Shrimp Tacos as starters, the Miso Octopus and Scallop Linguine as mains and the amazing Caramel Lava Cake for dessert. Every single dish was perfectly seasoned and tasted awesome.
I would give a thousand stars if Google let me, and I'll definitely come back! ?“

“Always impeccable in almost every aspect. Great wine list, delicious desserts as expected.
A negative point is the prices, very expensive in general, a family nowadays that eats one meal out hardly eats for the rest of the month.
I don't understand how restaurants are almost always full these days.“

“Very helpful and friendly staff! They helped us very well with recommending and explaining dishes. When we received the food we were completely blown away, it really is a taste sensation and has a very authentic taste. At the end we were given typical Nepalese tea on the house and this was certainly good in taste. For anyone staying in this area of Lisbon I would absolutely recommend the restaurant!“

“We had dinner several days, a place close to the hotel area, and both the food and the service were excellent.
Thanks to Diogo, who attended to us both days, and was very kind and attentive.
Without a doubt a very good option, also for the price.“

“Spectacular food and service show why Alma deserves their two Michelin stars! We enjoyed every dish, and the pork and potato terrine remains the best dish we experienced on our trip across Portugal.
A small deduction was made for the environment, which is beautiful but puts guests a little close together in what became a noisier dinner experience than we would expect for the upscale nature. Additionally, the overall value rounds out the 4/5 review. We would never expect such artistic culinary creations to be frugal, but the cost of the tasting menu with no consideration for wine pairing was a small note in the negative.
All in all we would recommend Alma as an experience if you love appreciating the art that fine dining can be, and their staff were some of the best in the business!“

“The second time in three days that we have come here especially for them. They confirm themselves to be excellence for us. We ate in other places in Lisbon but how you eat here and for what you pay is incomparable to anyone else. The service then unsurpassed. They are very attentive to the customer, it feels like family, generous portions and very low prices. They also offered us some liqueurs at the end and an extra coffee. They are wonderful people. I have no other words to describe them, only that if you don't pass by here you don't know what you're missing. You won't find anything better.“

“The food was good!
The dishes were well made, good plating and presentation.
As for the dishes, rich, flavorful, you could tell that the product was good. We noticed the care in the plating and the service was very friendly (both the girl and the boy).
The price may be a little high for what we ordered, but not excessive.“

“Very pleasant restaurant, reservation being essential to eat there, the number of people in the room is regulated and allows a calm meal in a subdued atmosphere.
The service is warm and quality, the owner takes care to personalize the service and all with a smile.
The cuisine is hearty and tasty.
We had a great time marking the end of our stay in Lisbon, and can only recommend it.
Vegetarian options: You can taste a Portuguese sausage specialty with meat and bread, suitable for vegetarians. The vegetarian dishes are very tasty.“

“Taken by friends, as I was unfamiliar with the place, it proved to be a gastronomic surprise, despite the noise not allowing for large conversations. Without ever reaching the stratospheric limit of "divine", the small restaurant served dishes of good, honest and unpretentious Portuguese food. The only negative note for the creamed milk, floured and with few eggs, which could have been something from a packet. A shame, because the burnt sugar topping was delicious.“

“We were just in for drinks and this place has everything, great atmosphere, the best self-brewed beers (that were everything as was described on the menu and even by the personnel) we were in doubt between some and we got to try just to be sure. There’s so much history in this place and the staff is happy to tell you about it! All of them were great but the one we actually got to know by name also had amazing stories to tell about what went and still goes on in the neighbourhood, so Paddy, if you’re reading this, thanks for saving our night by lending my gf’s phone some power to get back to our hotel and us to get back to you guys for stories that marked our trip in Lisbon :)“

“If you haven't been to this place, you're missing out big time! Mushroom lover or not, you need to try this restaurant! In some dishes you don't even see the mushrooms, but rest assured, they are there. We tried a few dishes, my favourites were the perfect egg, the hummus, the risotto, and the desserts. Special node to the desserts, especially if you enjoy a bit of savouriness, definitely go for them. The restaurant has a very interesting character that is left open to interpretation and it's a good point for discussion. Overall a fantastic experience, definitely a must when visiting Lisbon. You won't find traditional Portuguese dishes, but you might find a new favourite restaurant!“

“The truth is that for the price of the dishes and the quality of the food and that it is prepared to order, it is an ideal restaurant. I recommend it, I had not tried Indian food and I have already gone three times.(2022)
Update 2024: almost two years later, I have returned to this restaurant, two more times, I am addicted to the Nepali and Indian food in this place, it is still just as good or better and the same people continue to work, so I have already been five times to this restaurant
Vegetarian options: In Indian culture there are tons of vegetarian and very tasty dishes.“

“Wonderful venue in Bairro Alto. We arrived here by chance after a tiring but wonderful walk up high. The kids, very young, welcomed us even though it was 4 in the afternoon. The tables outside hosted several people from all over the world. We ate very well, the menu was limited but very satisfying, all the dishes were delicious.
Competitive prices. Absolutely to return“
