“Small place, cheap food but also very tasty. Good and respectful staff. It's a good place to take out, a little bit small to dine in. I strongly recommend the pizza, it's really tasty, they also have a good variety and the best it's cheap.“

“(Translated by Google) A quiet, pleasant place, good food with a family atmosphere. It's worth more than a high-style place without a welcoming presence!!!(Original)Um lugar calmo, agradável, boa comida com um ambiente familiar.Vale mais do um lugar de alto estilo sem uma presença acolhedor!!!“

“Vegetarian friendly. Nice to see some alternative options. Really enjoyed the malai kofta and palak paneer though all dishes could have been a bit spicier. Starters were quite small but actually for once didn’t feel over full after a curry! Great vegetarian options though not that well marked and I’m not sure a vegan would have left full.“

“Super delicious (vegetarian) food! We are very happy to have taken the few steps out of the very crowded city center. The service is very friendly and the food comes quickly. The prices are unbeatable! We (27 & 28 years old) would definitely recommend it.“

“Very knowledgeable staff that gave you confidence in what you were eating. Well run and quick service despite being very busy. We sat outside which was a bit cramped, inside there is a bit more space. We shared Tarka Dahl, mushroom rice and roti and it was delicious and full of flavour.“

“Great Indian food! One suggestion: please create a Google location for your Colares, Praia da Macas location - everyone is always searching for the number and has no idea how to order for pick up. Also would be great to have copies of your Macas location menu up on this Google location also please! :)“

“I think it used to be a vegan restaurant called "Vegan Mandala Paradise". Now it's a normal one with many vegetarian and some vegan options. The Masala recipes all come with cheese and were tasty. For vegans there are good curries and pad thais. Restaurant was empty and too many tourist frequent this place which we found relaxing. Can also recommend the Indian Masala tea which comes with fresh ginger and lemon. Service first seemed a bit cold but was much warmer later on. Updated from previous review on 2025-04-17“

“This slightly hidden place has a lot of vegetarian options and a few vegan options, the prices are fair especially considering the touristic life of Sintra. The outside balcony is a great spot to have a calm lunch. The food is what is expected from an Indian restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024-11-01“

“My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant. It was worth to walk out of the main street for lunch. We ordered: Chicken Korma, vegetable rice, coconut naan, papad and for dessert, pistachio gelato. All excellent and great service. We will definitely be back.“
“we’re back In lisbon for the new year once again. This time we were in the mood for some Indian food and we went to this restaurant and i have to say the food was delicious. We read the reviews and we thought to give it a try and it was worth it. They had the classic Indian menu with the curries and naan but also a south Indian menu which had very tasty dishes that we have never had before. Our kids are fan of the butter chicken so naturally my husband and I had some too, it was very flavorsome. I had the “masala dosa” which was amazing. It was definitely a new experience but I would definitely recommend. We also had the pani puri which I have seen many videos of and it was a burst of flavor. But, we loved the classic appetizers like the onion bhaji and the chicken tikka. My husband had the lamb roganjosh with the garlic naan and I had a bite, and I will frog my make that a staple in my Indian takeout next time. really good! All in all, it was delicious and we will be my coming back again some time, especially my husband since he adores indian food. Love the fact there was two menus so there are many options to choose from! Recommend!“

“Small but nice! We were pleasantly surprised by the cooking skills of this small restaurant! Excellent food and an unbeatable price-performance ratio in Lisbon.
The restaurant is located in the middle of bustling Bélem, a 6-minute walk directly behind the Museu de Arte e Artitectura. The fresh vegetarian cuisine à la India captivates you immediately. Absolute recommendation!!

“Nice to seat outside in the shadow in a quiet street with no noise. Vegan options. I tried veg samosa, onion bhaji and daal soup very tasty and cheap. All for 6,50 euro. In the menu there is s veg section if something has butter you can ask without. I uploaded pictures with menu and food and place. Updated from previous review on 2025-09-06“

“Definitely the best Indian restaurant!A small, modest restaurant, but everything is clean and tidy.Pleasant, polite, unobtrusive staff.Well, the reason why you actually need to go there is food. Everything is very delicious. In Meat Curry, the meat is of very good quality and there is a lot of it for such a low durability.Shrimp in mango sauce is absolutely incredible, such a delicate, creamy, mango taste. And be sure to try the flatbreads, especially the coconut and cashew flatbread, a very unusual taste.I will come back here more than once and recommend it to everyone“

“The food is really good, but the house needs to be modernized a little, even for the comfort of the customer (who doesn't pay little...). The samosas left something to be desired... Extra note: in a restaurant of this type, drink is a must...!“

“I like the atmosphere, the staff are friendly and attentive, but that's not all.The food is very good, whether in-house or takeaway, the food is always good. Prices, I believe, are in line with current costs. So it's time to go back and eat those delicious dishes, whether spicy or not.“

“Typical Nepalese/Indian in the pleasant sand area. Avoid the lower floor as it almost looks like a storage room, while the upper floor has a fun and lively atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful and the dishes presented are those that are “normally” found in restaurants of the same type.“

“Very flavorful food, great service! We sat outside which was a good if you like people watching, but it's a very busy pedestrian street, lots of tourists walking by. Inside had good atmosphere and was full, sign of the popularity of the place. Only point of improvement was that the heaters on which our food was delivered could use some cleaning. The bowls with our food in it were clean though.“

“Very good restaurant with low prices.
Friendly and helpful employees.
During the week it is easy to find a parking space and it is not usually full. At the weekend, as it is next to the Benfica market, parking is very difficult.
I have used Uber several times to bring food from there and it is always well served.“

“Love love love this place! Everything from the delicious homemade tasting food, the caring staff and owner and the fair prices keep me and others coming back. I can’t go without a week passing where I have the urge to come back. If you truly love spicy food, ask for some green chilis from the owners personal plant from home. Don’t forgot to trash the chai and chaat samosa!
Parking: Best to park across the street at the Mercado“

“Located next to Estrela's stadium and without the typical decoration of Indian restaurantssurprising for the excellent food, far above the average of the Indians I've been to. A starter not to be missed: fried cassava with spices. Good choice of dishes (including vegetarian options). Friendly and welcoming service.“

“I been here several times and the food has consistently been of a very high standard. I can see why trip advisor credits had been previously given … I think it’s time that the cook should enter a few competitions for food …. A good chance they might win some !“

“Well prepared Indian food. I loved the "Madras", it was really tasty.
I just wish it were possible in some options to choose to add spicy, as one of the dishes was with coconut and it really needed a bit of that condiment ?
As for dessert, I didn't like it. On the menu was the option of camel baba but it was not homemade, but industrialized and, on top of that, semi-frozen.
Reasonable quality/price, within the expectations of other Indians.“

“If you want vegetarian options, traditional Indian food is a good and very pleasant choice. They make a variety of dishes with simple or complex flavors. They have varied options for all tastes. As for the space, I must confess that it is a little uncomfortable and needs to be renovated in order to bring it up to date. The service is friendly and fast. I recommend it for group lunch or quick meals.
Vegetarian options: Grain curry, vegetable chamosa, etc...“

“Very unsuspecting little place in a crowded back street. We went in for some lunch, craving some seafood and their menu seemed a bit cheaper than most around. Well were we in for a surprise! Then clams were BRILLIANT and full of flavour, much better than the extremely expensive upper class restaurants in the area and even further down the coast (in fact I would warn against any fancy restaurant in Cascais and within a 5 mile radius!). We also had the squid and prawns which came in a different sauce and the squid was beautifully tender. The decor isn’t great and we were put by a big tv screen outside but wow to the clams in particular.
So good in fact that we took our friends a couple of days later, they had the same with the addition of swordfish that was cooked perfectly, everyone was full and happy with a reasonable bill at the end of it.
The waiters were very friendly and attentive, however I did have to mark it down just one star as they put bread and olives on the table as if it were complimentary (as is the standard across Europe/UK) but you do have to pay for them so if you don’t want them, do send them back so you don’t get charged! But you will want the bread to dip in that garlic clam sauce ;)
The fish and seafood is top top notch, I can’t comment on their Asian influenced dishes. Bravo to their chef.“
“Good kebab, super fast service, the best kebabs in Queluz and the price is right. The menu has soft drinks included and it can be takeaways or by the plate. The kebab sauce is better than the rest, and the meat has almost no fat.
Kid-friendliness: Kebab menu with fries and soda
Parking: Free parking on Av.Miguel Bombarda
