During a recent visit to Cabana do Pescador, we were absolutely delighted by the experience from start to finish. This restaurant truly stands out in every aspect, making it one of the best dining experiences we've had so far.

“It is on the dock of São Martinho Bay. Professional and pleasant staff. The meal for 10. We ordered, for 2, a zapateira and 1/2 kg of prawns and since they didn't have enough prawns left, they cooked them on the spot. At the end they served us a shot, without asking for it; a detail on your part. Everything very rich and fresh. A quiet place to enjoy a good meal that didn't seem expensive at all“

The steak was so tender, the sauce to die for and love the addition of the egg. I got my dish with a side of potato gratin and it was delightful! Highly recommend this place for dinner. “WOW! best food!! The food is so fresh you can sometimes see the seafood coming off the boat and into the restaurant. You can select your fish prior to it being cooked. The restaurant feels new and clean and it’s very nice and cute inside. Great place. Oh and best sangria in all of sao martinho.“

“We went for lunch this day and there were 4 of us. We each had a different option. We were each very pleased with our meals and the restaurant was quite full. Service was excellent and we were seated in their outside area. It was very comfortable. Parking is available, but limited.“

“The restaurant is big, so luckily no wait! However, the tuna steak seems to be seasoned with too much vinegar, it’s too sour and I hardly taste the tuna itself. The tuna steak is also a bit over-cooked for my liking; I prefer it more raw. Maybe I should’ve ordered seafood by the kilogram instead or asked for the most popular dish.

Service was fast, which increased my overall rating by 1 star. There’s live seafood in the aquarium, showing those are fresh.“
