“Excellent, wonderful chef's food, top-notch atmosphere and unparalleled service, you can see that you will taste a dish that you won't find anywhere else. Congratulations to the entire team.”
“This experience felt like a warm farewell hug to end my time in Lisbon. I stopped by at dinner time hours before my flight back home. I wanted to end my trip with a wine tasting and found this place on Google. I decided to try it based on the reviews. The overall experience exceeded my expectations. The owner was kind, welcoming, and attentive. I chose 3 plates I was interested in and he decided the order in which to serve them and what wine to pair them with. The flavors of everything were unreal. I might still be riding a little bit of a high from this experience. Absolutely stop by here during your trip.”
“The food was great. Amazing quality. However, the portions are very small and the prices are a bit expensive.
The staff was great, super friendly and helpful
The only thing I’d change are the portions. for the price I think they can increase it”
“Our first stop on recommendation. A hit! Great atmosphere, wonderful, friendly service and a real feast for the palate. Waffles with cinnamon and caramel could use some fruit to break the sweet taste, but the pancake is a revelation without compromise and in tandem with a smoothie it is an unforgettable visual and taste experience! we will definitely visit this place again. I highly recommend...”
“As a pizza fan that I am, I couldn't go through Lisbon without trying Forno d'Oro's offering, considered the best pizza in Portugal, according to 50 Top Pizza. The menu includes pizzas inspired by Portuguese gastronomy and, of course, by the great Italian classics that are so popular all over the world. The most striking thing about the restaurant's setting is the wood-burning oven, which is covered, as its name suggests, in a golden color. The staff was very friendly and knew several languages, including Spanish and English. As for food, we ordered two pizzas, one seasonal with Portuguese ingredients and another from the Italian section of the menu. Both lived up to expectations with a very well made dough and rich, quality ingredients. We also tried the tiramisu which was pretty good. Without being the best pizza I have ever had, I would rate it as one of the best and, of course, I would recommend visiting this restaurant if you like this Italian dish or if it is the first time you want to enjoy it with excellent quality.”

“We had dinner several days, a place close to the hotel area, and both the food and the service were excellent.
Thanks to Diogo, who attended to us both days, and was very kind and attentive.
Without a doubt a very good option, also for the price.”
“It was delicious! From start to finish it was excellent.
Many thanks to Wiki for the service, he is multilingual. Amazing ! Thanks, you're welcome, Dank u well!! ?”
“Spectacular food and service show why Alma deserves their two Michelin stars! We enjoyed every dish, and the pork and potato terrine remains the best dish we experienced on our trip across Portugal.
A small deduction was made for the environment, which is beautiful but puts guests a little close together in what became a noisier dinner experience than we would expect for the upscale nature. Additionally, the overall value rounds out the 4/5 review. We would never expect such artistic culinary creations to be frugal, but the cost of the tasting menu with no consideration for wine pairing was a small note in the negative.
All in all we would recommend Alma as an experience if you love appreciating the art that fine dining can be, and their staff were some of the best in the business!”

“Visiting Lisbon with my family from Boston. Came across this hidden gem while searching for restaurants on google maps. From the time we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff. We chose to sit out back, mainly because we had our two young sons with us. We ordered a caprese salad, minestrone soup, garlic bread, french fries, tomato bruschetta, 2 margharita pizzas and penne carbonara. My goodness! Everything was delicious and the price point was PERFECT! It was wonderful chatting with our server! Clearly everyone at this establishment takes a great deal of pride in what they do. I honestly would drive an hour to eat here again. It’s really that good! Hoping to stop by before our trip back to Boston!”

“This is one of my favorite places in Lisbon.
An excellent example of traditional Portuguese cuisine, well executed with simple techniques.
Excellent product and very good treatment of it.
The dishes are abundant, especially the main ones.
Attentive and fun service. You leave the premises with a smile and the desire to return.
The place is a bit small and gets a little noisy when there are a lot of people, which is usually the case.
It is advisable to reserve in advance.”
“We had an extraordinary enjoyable experience dining in this lovely restaurant at our stay in Lisbon. The food and the wine were excellent and the friendly staff added to the lovely atmosphere. Together with the reasonable price we highly
recommend and will definitely come back.”
“Best meal ever in Lisbon.A must visit for lisbon visitors.Give it a trial you will not be disappointed.”
“We ate the most delicious meals here. The pulled pork prego was so tender and tasty. Prawn and mango salad great for a hot day. A good spot for young kids too! Beautiful atmosphere inside the restaurant with great service. I highly recommend eating here!”

“We were two people, we ordered Portuguese style bitoque and bait.
I haven't eaten such tasty bait in a long time.
The bitoque, the meat very tender, and the sauce well seasoned.
I recommend it, and I will return because of the friendliness, the good homemade food and the good atmosphere.”
“10/10 experience. If you’re questioning whether or not to go, don’t, just go. The 10 course tasting (really 14 with desserts) was SO tasty and affordable. Our server was a standout as well. They connected with each table, clearly cared if you were enjoying your experience, was attentive but not overbearing, and had an overall great presence and energy. I would definitely go again!”
“After 2-3 days in Lisbon without Indian food, this place was a real treat for vegetarians. As most other reviews suggest, this place has absolutely amazing food. We ordered Veg thali, shahi paneer and garlic bread. Everything tasted authentic and full of flavour. Very satisfied. Don’t hesitate to visit this place.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. No need to worry for vegetarians.”
“Valdo Gatti offered up some of the best food we've enjoyed on our trip to Lisbon. The mushroom risotto is easily in the top 3 of any risotto I've ever had, and we greatly enjoyed the red Sangria and pizza we ordered as well.
Thank you again to the awesome staff for such a great food experience, and I think the QR virtual queue was a nice way to organize wait times.
I highly recommend this spot and will gladly return should I find myself in Lisbon again.”
“Amazing Persian restaurant! The eggplant yoghurt dish was my favourite, but everything was delicious. And the Persian love cake and ice cream are definitely worth trying! Super original flavour combinations that work together really well. The staff was friendly, and the place is nicely decorated. Would recommend making a reservation if you want to be seated outside.”
“Coming to Lisbon, we couldn't miss the restaurant of chef Louise Bourrat, and we were won over! The 10-course menu and its 8 wines was a real pleasure from start to finish, a journey of flavor allowing us to discover Portuguese cuisine. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you have allergies, or if you don’t like certain foods (cilantro, cucumber, etc.), the menu is adapted for you.
All this is accompanied by very pleasant attentive service. We highly recommend!”
“You MUST eat and drink here!!! Checked out food and drink menus for over a dozen places and Can the Can stood out - the Pica Pau is the best I’ve ever had - exceptional service (Leticia is amazing) and the drinks are second to none - tell Anthony or Daniel what you’re looking for at the bar and they won’t disappoint. Beyond dining and drinking - Try the Garum - if you like food, you will need to get this!”
“By far, the best Japanese I have had in Portugal and outside of Japan. Omakase. Inventive, beautiful presentation and super fresh ingredients. Worth every penny.”
“Yes this was really good! Food delicious and special. The cucumber dessert, to name just a few. Glasses of wine from 6 euros.
Carafes of water free. The four of us lost 160 euros. You have to go here. And I don't say that often.”

“Geweldig restaurant. Goed eten tegen een goede prijs. Je wordt gelijk opgevangen door het personeel die wel van een praatje en grapje houden. Eten werd snel geleverd en van hoge kwaliteit. Onze ober heeft zelf een gratis schotje gegeven om de Portugeze cultuur te proeven.”
“Fantastic experience. When you come in, there is bread, butter, olives, ham & cheese on the table - you do not have to take it, but you'll miss out. It's so good! We chose the fish and were not dissapointed. They brought a whole lobster for 2 people, plus shrimps and clams - on top of the dish Base with rice, port and small shrimps
Extensive wine list - we were overwhelmed and asked out server for a recommendation. She suggested a very well priced red that was a good match for our meal.
Recommend.”
“Absolutely lovely authentic Portuguese food. We had the oxtail, the turbot, and the mushroom rice. Also the starters were amazing including the dried Tuna salad and the squid. Super attentive service by Alex, they were fully booked but then accommodated us. Highly recommended and cannot wait to go again”
“Omakase Ri is one of those special places where they get everything right. The experience and hospitality is top notch, and the most important ingredient in every bite is love. You can tell that they love and take pride in what they do and it creates a memorable time making you want to come back again and again.”
“We came to this place for our last dinner in Lisbon. It was Sunday and at 9.30pm we thought we wouldn't find a place anywhere; we stopped here in front and, also following the advice of a couple of tourists (even if they seemed to be regular customers), we decided to go in.
We didn't regret it. The menu is not very rich (there are only four main dishes), but the quality is excellent. The house "bacalhau" is recommended. The owner is very nice and seems to manage everything himself. He recommended the wine to accompany the meal and at the end he prepared some delicious crepes suzette in front of us with his mobile stove. Highly recommended.”
“We visited ‘from the vine’ for their wine tasting experience as apart of our trip to Lisbon. Our host was hospitable, informative and chatty which made our experience. Highly recommend! Thank you :)”
“Very cool spot to check out in Belem. The building is full of history and the vibes are great. Servers are very knowledgeable on all beers and food, made in house - 10/10 would come back”

“Excellent homemade food. Upon entering we were very well received, preferring to stay inside the restaurant. Always eat. Present friendliness, I found it really funny that you asked me if I wanted a bib!!! I LOVED!!!
They recommended cod à Lagareiro and grilled emperor fish!
The fish was delicious and the vegetables too. Hats off to the cod as it tasted just like my grandmother's!!!! Real, desalted cod! The potatoes were well seasoned and the green beans were delicious, just like the ones I used to eat without chemicals!!!! Congratulations to the team that made me relive the past! The interior space is a little “scary” although it has good decoration!
Thanks for the experience!”
“An exaggeratedly friendly pub opposite the French embassy. Lovely staff, delicious, organic food - great Bernardinian eggs in a Mexican burger and on avocado toast. Delicious flat white and cappuccino. Highly recommended!!!

“I've been here a couple of times, and every time I go to Lisboa travelling via Oriente station, I try to make a beeline for it. Fabulous food, wonderful , person attention, a real family business. And if you have never tried chilled blackberry juice (sumo de amoras) with berries floating in it on a very hot summer's day...baby, you haven't lived!!”
“Definitely one of the best Indian meals I've ever had. The place is simple, without luxury, but perfectly fulfills the idea of a canteen.
The service is great, it teaches the customer how to distribute food as in Indian culture and tries to offer help and serve more, when necessary.”
“Magnifique restaurant et surtout bar à vins avec une cave extraordinaire, dans un cadre chaleureux.
Les tapas et plats sont très élaborés et faits maison, à partager ou en solo.
Les conseils du serveur sur le choix des vins est très pertinent, il était à l’écoute de nos goûts et a su trouver les bons accords mets/vins.
Service un peu long cependant avec un restaurant bondé.
Réservation conseillée.”
“Away from the busiest parts of the city, the food and atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for! I would highly recommend if you are in the area. Very good prices and delicious, unique food, if you are visiting as a tourist. Recommended by our tour guide who lives in the city, and very happy we decided to visit!”
“This was a wonderful experience. It was just like visiting a friend's home in Goa and being served family food from the kitchen. The food and service were both amazing, especially the vindaloo and the ambothik. The service was excellent too. Lisbon and Margao were suddenly one place!”
“Such a special place and an absolute must for dinner in Lisbon.
The food was incredible and the small details within their wonderful service was so very special.
Make sure you book... It's hard to get a table and you definitely can't just walk in. (August)”

“We have been in Lisbon for a few days and we have come twice.
The first time we ordered 2 pizzas for dinner, delicious.
The second day we went to eat and ordered a salad, a small pizza and a suppli pommodoro, all very good.
Value for money is great.
Highly recommended place if you are in the area.”
“This quiet little restaurant is a great spot for date night. My wife and I loved our gourmet burgers (mine had a "drippy" fried egg, and hers was topped with goat cheese, walnuts & honey), along with a pitcher of delicious homemade sangria. Service was excellent and we thought that the prices were quite reasonable. Highly recommended!”
“We probably wouldn’t have gone to a restaurant called Fishtail, but it was recommended to us and we were glad. The food was delicious, including the chicken tikka marsala and the sag paneer.”
“We went for lunch at 4pm and they were very kind to welcome us. The food didn't take long to arrive and it was delicious! Without a doubt one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten for the price. We ordered a family pizza and it was perfect for two people, along with the garlic bread which was equally good. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon!”
“it is a typical restaurant for tourists but it has a very fast service and the staff is very courteous. They recommended this place to go for piri piri chicken and it's really good”

“A prime location but difficult to park.
We ordered house steaks and it was delicious, nothing to write home about.
The place is beautiful and elegant.
The employees are professionals, perhaps the only thing I want to point out is that I wanted to be talking to the person in front of me and the employee kept “talking” a little beyond what was comfortable, I had to ask him to “go away” which added to the feeling of the night.
Shortly afterwards, at the next table, there was a family and the same waiter creating the same discomfort towards them, so they were also asked to let them eat/be “in peace”.
I would also like to add that the employee smelled a lot of tobacco, which made it difficult for us to have him by our side.
Despite this occurrence, the dinner experience was wonderful. A place to visit.”
“We did the classic review spiral before going to Loco and had hesitated after seeing some of what was written. We decided to just go for it, and I'm so glad we did!! It was an amazing experience. We have never had such attentive service (they even noticed my husband was left handed and rearranged his place setting!). On top of that, the food was so creative and dynamic. They're zero waste mentality was exceptional. I loved that they kept coming back to it to show how they use the whole ingredient. Definitely recommend doing the wine pairing, as they are very generous pours and really enhanced the food and experience.”
“A gourmet restaurant that well deserves its Michelin star. We appreciated the quality of the service, the dishes offered are tasty and very finely cooked. As a perfectly cooked camarao starter, the dishes are salmon sorrel and tasty veal cordon bleu. The saint honored for dessert with very fine choux pastry. The icing on the cake was the sweet treats at the end of the meal, and the appetizer as a starter were perfect. We recommend the lunch menu at 45 euros which is great value for money.”
“A chance discovery, but wonderful. Friendly, cordial treatment and concerned about giving us all kinds of information. Nice and well-distributed room, it was not crowded and they placed us next to a large open window WITH Exceptional VIEWS. We opted for the menu option that consisted of two first, two main and two dessert options. Glass of wine, beer or water. We chose Salad for starter, Sea Bass for main course and ice cream for dessert. Glass of white and red wine.
Everything was very, very delicious, highlighting the fish that was cooked to perfection and was accompanied by various vegetables and a soft and tasty puree accompanied by a yellow sauce that I suspect was very very mild mustard that together gave very varied nuances of flavor. very tasty. So much so that I couldn't help but spread the bread on the plate.
In short, an experience that I hope we can repeat and without a doubt allows me to recommend this place without fear of disappointing anyone who shares this experience.”
“We always take the menu according to the chef's choices. The dishes have always been excellent. Cold and hot dishes. But they decided to change their formulas without notifying customers. So we received 15 pieces of sushi. Surprised, we attracted the attention of the waiter who assured us that this was only the beginning and that the hot dishes would follow. When we received the bill we had the unpleasant surprise of finding that the hot dishes had been charged extra as well as a second cold dish that had never been ordered.
With 4 coffees, 1 bottle of wine for 25 euros, we came to a total of more than 160 euros for two. We had to ask for the complaints book for them to admit that there had been a small communication error. This is very unfortunate because it greatly damages the reputation of this restaurant. This is unfortunately becoming common in Portugal where foreigners are systematically the target of scams of all kinds.”
“Located in the back of another restaurant, Mini Bar feels tucked away but once you’re inside it’s absolutely the main event. Live music early in the evening, a dj later. The food is fantastic. The service amazing. People are partying and eating and drinking and it’s an event that you don’t want to miss. There’s a tasting menu so you don’t have to make tough decisions, and as the night continues you can sing along or dance and enjoy the atmosphere.”
“I'm a frequent customer and I recommend it! Friendliness of the staff, last time very well attended by Adelino. You can still eat for a reasonable price in ”
“Just finished a delicious meal at this Gem of a restaurant.
I would 100% recommend anyone to try it and enjoy what is easily one of our top meals since coming to Lisbon. To top of off the guys that run it are awesome, super friendly and warm.
Really fab. x”
Cheap Eats
“Taken by friends, as I was unfamiliar with the place, it proved to be a gastronomic surprise, despite the noise not allowing for large conversations. Without ever reaching the stratospheric limit of "divine", the small restaurant served dishes of good, honest and unpretentious Portuguese food. The only negative note for the creamed milk, floured and with few eggs, which could have been something from a packet. A shame, because the burnt sugar topping was delicious.”
“Very pleasant restaurant, reservation being essential to eat there, the number of people in the room is regulated and allows a calm meal in a subdued atmosphere.
The service is warm and quality, the owner takes care to personalize the service and all with a smile.
The cuisine is hearty and tasty.
We had a great time marking the end of our stay in Lisbon, and can only recommend it.
Vegetarian options: You can taste a Portuguese sausage specialty with meat and bread, suitable for vegetarians. The vegetarian dishes are very tasty.”
“Typical Lisbon bar. The place is small, if you like privacy it is not your place, we were comfortable, but they put some Spanish girls in the middle of a table of 6. But it is one of the best I have been to, quality-price, what we ordered, everything was very good , especially the ribs. I had heard that it is normal in Portugal for them to give you tapas even if you have asked for them. Here we had it on the table, but I returned one (without touching it of course) and without a problem, they didn't charge it. Very good white wine sangria”
“Nous sommes venus ici pour dîner sur ma dernière nuit à Lisbonne. Pendant que nous mangions sorte de tard c'était assez donc mes amis et moi avons pu vraiment profiter de notre conversation. Le service était excellent et ils ont eu la gentillesse d'expliquer certains des plats sur le menu qui est faite de la cuisine essentiellement locale. C'est un prix raisonnable et la nourriture goûts incroyable. Vraiment j'espère avoir l'occasion d'y retourner.”
“Totally family-friendly place where you will eat very fresh grilled fish. Homemade food 100x100
You share the same table with other customers.
I recommend it, if you are going to eat delicious, cheap, and go somewhere else to have an after-dinner meal.
The only downside is that you come out smelling like charcoal... but it made up for me because of how good the food was.”
“The food is amazing! The arroz de marisco is delicious with a hint of coriander, and the shrimp pasta is flavorful, though the spaghetti could be more al dente. The attendants were kind and considerate. one didn’t rush me when I was browsing the menu before deciding to dine. The other offered us ginja, a Portuguese liqor made by infusing ginja berries. Everything we tried is first time and we love it!”
“I liked the experience. The chopsticks are packaged in paper, the cutlery and glass are free from dirt. The food is tasty, made with very fresh vegetables. The space has its DNA but it is not a restaurant, it is a family home. To improve, the cleanliness of the kitchen floor. The lady who answered was cordial. I wouldn't be a customer per se, but I would like this space to remain. It comes out of the box.”
“It feels like a restaurant frequented by locals. It really tastes like Seabeth.
Have lunch and come back in the evening.
It's much more delicious here than the tourist patch restaurants in the city. I want to try everything, but it's a shame.
You don’t speak English, but you are kind.”

“Our first 2 star michelin restaurant and what an experience! The whole staff was
The food was exquisite, the wine pairing was out of this world. We can only recommand it and we hope to be back soon!”
“I’ve lived in SF Bay Area, LA, Austin and Pacific Northwest. Senhor Uva was one of my favorite meals. Not only was the food spectacular but the service was impeccable and entertaining . The only restaurant in Portugal that we’ve wanted to go back to.”
“I stopped there for a light lunch - I decided to order a few starters and ended up having the caperse salad, vegan cheese, rice bread and olives. All the flavors were amazing, the plant based cheeses were wonderful and the tomato in the salad was one of the best I’ve had! The restaurant is small and cute and the outside seating area is small but I was lucky to get a table there and the atmosphere was great.”
“The best Nepali & Indian cuisine in Lisbon city and the atmosphere is very nice. Staff are very friendly. Food tastes is woow. Recommend to those who visit Lisbon Portugal. ??”

“A sophisticated and unique restaurant with exceptional food. Chef Rodrigo’s menu is impeccable - from incredible fish to the most amazing quesadillas, if you are looking for an upscale and fresh Mexican experience, this is the place.”
“Absolutely delicious. I went there by chance, on a day when I was exhausted and just wanted to eat and rest, and I ate so well that I left feeling relaxed, happy and satisfied. It has become one of my favorite restaurants in Lisbon!
It's not a restaurant where you go for the space or the decor, it's a place where you go for the food and service.
All the dishes I tried were delicious - the samosas, the fried momo's, the chicken madras and the Butter.
While waiting for the food, they serve papadum with 2 sauces (no charge).
The person serving is friendly and always calm.
Even the house wine (glass) is good.
The doses are relatively large. Two people are fine with 1 chicken curry and some momo's.”
“Great truck at the water's edge, ambient music, fresh homemade and generous cocktails. Trimmed boards. More affordable price than in France.
Very very nice address.”

“Top croissant in Lisbon!
The scrambled eggs and the poached eggs are also very good.
Açaí bowl is in balance with the granola and with the fruit.
Only things what l don’t like here are the drinks (l tried: orange juice, smoothies, ice latte).”
“Restaurant in the lower part of the Alfama neighborhood. Small but charming. Good fish, although we have tried better in Lisbon in similar restaurants. We did not make a reservation and had to wait 50 minutes. Very friendly waiters. Card payment is not allowed. Recommendable.”
“We went to a “candlelight” concert at the “Mosteiro de São Vicente de Fora” and as we know that parking nearby is not easy… we thought we would arrive earlier than most and have dinner there, with “Gato Pardo” being the perfect option. … Dear, lots of space. friendly and good reviews (4.7*>thousand), and really well deserved! Everything was great, the gizzards, the cheeks, the bread & olive oil, the peppers ?️ pardon, the dessert, everything… It was one of those nights, simple and perfect. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend the experience!”
“Anyone who loves good food is indifferent to good service... It's been a long time since we've had an experience of this kind: flavor, quality, empathy, friendliness, rigor! We entered and felt that we were very well received... but everything else, these days, is just a unique experience! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making small moments of pleasure into giant memories!! If we come back? Oh yes, we will definitely be back!! And with friends, for whom we want the best!! Quality food and luxury service ❤️Mr. João, Nuno, the whole Family: they are the greatest!! Now let's "burn calories" through the streets of Lisbon!!Thank you very much!Marisa and Mario”
“Genial de sabor, muchas opciones y todo buenísimo Nos ha encantado y eso que iba con un omnívoro. Platos elaborados, otros más sencillos, exquisito y precio asequible”
“Like others here said before this is actually authentic Thai and they really push it to the limits. I lived for many years in Thailand and this is probably the best Thai food you can get outside of Thailand. Will be back!”
“Magnifique restaurant et surtout bar à vins avec une cave extraordinaire, dans un cadre chaleureux.
Les tapas et plats sont très élaborés et faits maison, à partager ou en solo.
Les conseils du serveur sur le choix des vins est très pertinent, il était à l’écoute de nos goûts et a su trouver les bons accords mets/vins.
Service un peu long cependant avec un restaurant bondé.
Réservation conseillée.”
“Very warm welcome, also speaks French. Excellent dishes, fried cod as well as the highest quality Iberian pork that I have been able to eat so far, after 10 days on Portuguese territory. An excellent wine from the Douro Valley in the glass. Decent dessert. Excellent value. I highly recommend”
“Amazing Goan food! I've been there several times, never disappointing. Whatever I tried as mains, either the usual or special ones were always perfect. For starter, I can't avoid getting Bhaji puri. Great service! Bring cash.”
“Octopus legs are fresh and delicious!
One portion can be shared by two people, including spinach and a lot of potatoes?!
Sangria is delicious in a big cup!
The business is very good. It is recommended to make a reservation or go as soon as the door opens.”
“Good place, good vibes with a super friendly gentleman and it's open until 2am in Junqueira in Belém
I loved the experience
I loved the chicken korma with that rice that looks like it belongs to my mother”
“We reserved a table for 9, we got there in perfect time, they told us we called the wrong number, we checked with the restaurant owner and it was the exact same phone number you can find here, we tried to call the number in front of them and they hanged it in front of us. Unfortunately we don't understand Portuguese but they were clearly talking about us negatively. Reading comments we could understand they don't like foreigners that look "poor" and prefer to take reservations just for drinking and not eating. If you want to try and go there just know you can get rejected just because they don't like you by your look.
Good luck i guess.
EDIT: I'll keep the last comment because I think it should be clear what happened, they called us the next day saying sorry, they had a problem with a new manager, the "old" one asked if we wanted to go back to the place the next day, we did and they offered us a lot of food and drinks and they apologized, the food was grate and the "old" manager was really a awesome person, very pleasant dinner”
“Restaurant that I highly recommend. Very welcoming and attentive servers. Very nice pieces of fish and meat. 13€ for the salmon steak with fries and salad. 59€ for 3 with shared starter, main course and soft drink. Very good value for money”
“Nice and tasty food, decent portion size, friendly and fast service. It's a local restaurant for me so I will be back again.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's possible, but a little complicated because the street is very narrow.”
“Charming restaurant located in a discreet alley in downtown Lisbon. The Indian cuisine offered in this establishment is simply exceptional. The dishes are subtle, fine, tasty, precisely seasoned/spicy. Lunch in this restaurant was a joy.”
“This was a wonderful experience. It was just like visiting a friend's home in Goa and being served family food from the kitchen. The food and service were both amazing, especially the vindaloo and the ambothik. The service was excellent too. Lisbon and Margao were suddenly one place!”
Recommend.”
“I have been here 3 times already and I've never been disappointed by the food. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good value for money. Highly recommended =)”
“A very cool experience!! Have never tried axe throwing and was kind of scared I would hurt someone but the technique was explained well and I was able to get the hang of it quickly (without causing any injuries ?). Can definitely recommend for those who want to try something new!! ”
“Excellent food and great service. The servers are attentive and provide excellent recommendations. The cauliflower two ways is the best dish on the menu. Dinner on the terrace is relaxed and a great way to end the day.
Vegetarian options: Cauliflower
Dietary restrictions: Lacto, ovo, pescatarian”
“Absolutely lovely authentic Portuguese food. We had the oxtail, the turbot, and the mushroom rice. Also the starters were amazing including the dried Tuna salad and the squid. Super attentive service by Alex, they were fully booked but then accommodated us. Highly recommended and cannot wait to go again”
“Typical local food, very central, around 25 euros per head. I recommend Frango a Bras,...good service, it has an open kitchen so you can see what they are cooking. It's very small but we were fine.”
“Thank you for this exceptional gastronomic experience! The service was very kind and the chef Matheus is fantastic. We think Zazah has to be the best restaurant in Lisbon.
We will be back (hopefully) soon!
A hug from Renata, Emilia and Margherita”
“Wow, this is the place I came to two days in a row.
A real seafood restaurant of the best!!!!!!! Come to Lisbon and come here
You'd be stupid if you didn't eat it, really..
I recommend that you make a reservation before going.
Be sure to try the octopus (poppo dish) and cutlassfish dish!!!!
I think I’ll remember this even when I go to Korea ㅠㅠ
It's a bit scary on the way up, so ladies, make sure to go when the sun is shining! Absolutely”
“A restaurant on the new avenues of Lisbon, with a neighborhood atmosphere, without tourists, where Portuguese is spoken.
Great service, typical Portuguese food very well prepared. Partridge game dishes were a delicacy.
I recommend.”
“Great restaurant! The bread with chorizo ans cheese was AMAZING, as wete the mushroms, the pork cheeks and the lamb. Fantastic food, the highlight of pur trip! Add to that cute artsy decor and fun and friendly waiters - a perfect night.”
“This is without a doubt the best sushi in Lisbon (and few other places I can think of), unpretentious, great quality, DELICIOUS .. love sushi and have been eating here for years and never disappointed… Highly highly recommend it.”
“We arrived by chance, and without regret. Typical decoration, impeccable service, impeccable dishes, quality products, everything is there. We highly recommend this address. From aperitif to dessert.”
“The final bouquet of our stay in Lisbon!
Thank you Medames for the quality of your welcome and your cuisine: “here everything is cooked on the spot”
Perhaps the most beautiful address in Lisbon...provided you are not in a hurry
We'll come back! Obligado ”
“Memorable dinner at Beco a Sério. Tucked in a courtyard off a pedestrian street in the hills of Lisbon, a pleasant change from summer crowds and bustle. We were made to feel welcome and were able to enjoy well made top quality starters, main courses (both seafood and meat options were great), desserts, and nice wines. Small-ish place with maybe ten tables.”
“The Piri Piri chicken here is a must. Only order to go so get a whole chicken, rice, spinach, and drinks and head over to the closest park which is about 10 minutes away. Get one of the benches over looking the park and enjoy while the cool breeze blows away.”
“A cool space, with a friendly atmosphere but tends to be very crowded. For dinner, reservation is recommended. The service is friendly, but it depends a little on the person. All the food we tried was good, despite some intense flavors. It's worth the experience.”
“The best steak I've had on my whole trip! If you're a steak lover, don't miss this spot. We also got a bottle of the red wine blend Dao which was delightful (dry yet rich).
They were accommodating to my food sensitivities and I'll probably go back tomorrow for another steak!”
“I had been coming here a few years ago and I remember loving it, so I decided to go back to see the new menu.
I ordered the Hey Salmon, which is an authentic fusion of European and Asian flavors. It has Nordic-style marinated salmon, Greek Tzatziki, Asian Edamame beans, and even red onion pickles that add that impeccable finishing touch. It was magnificent, I loved the composition, a perfect delight. And to continue the global flavor route, Eastern European Syrniki for dessert, with wild fruits and caramel, in an alchemy of flavors of phenomenal charm. The only thing I didn't like was the Passion Fruit Lemonade, which is completely artificial, carbonated, and you can see that it's already bottled, it's not made there, and it's anything but natural. It's a shame, the delicious dishes deserved a worthy drink. Service was quick and friendly.”
“After waiting indefinitely and sightseeing at the monastery, I came home tired and hungry.
There was a wait here too, but it was gone quickly.
It was nice to be guided so kindly.
The grilled sardines were delicious and went well with beer.”
“Ate here twice during our stay and only saw them cooking chicken. It's absolutely delicious. They also have home made potato chips that they make from scratch. Inexpensive but delicious meal. Take out and cash only.”
“Very good home cooking. A good place to eat a delicious Cod a la Nata. The place is small but we were lucky and there was a table for 4. The price is appropriate for the quality although it is not cheap, but a day of tribute is worth the expense.”
“Very funny and well decorated space with American themes from the 50s.
Very friendly service and dressed to the nines.
Tasty food at a very reasonable price.
Desserts a little overpriced.”
“Very good charming restaurant located on a pedestrian street. The service was impeccable, Leonardo attended to us and explained the phenomenal menu, in addition to recommending the best dishes.
A totally recommendable experience, quite a discovery. They also have delicious vegetarian options.”
“The place has a great vibe, as the staff. Some dishes are great, others are ok. But it's super worth it to visit, sit outside and enjoy a good wine with some finger foods. It's possible to taste various dishes Updated from previous review on 2025-05-08”
“Place where they sell sandwiches and burchettas. There is a variety of foods, some cheaper than others. The owner is a very nice person. Although the place is small, it is worth it, it is rich and it is a place where locals go, which creates a better atmosphere than many others that are too touristy.
Vegetarian options: It has some sandwiches and burchettas that do not have meat, but rather tomato, cheese and dressing”
“It reflects the best positive reviews: dinner for three with risotto, fish soup and grilled octopus. Excellent flavors in good balance, quality in the food and courtesy in the service, shame that it is closed tomorrow, we would have gladly returned to taste the meat.”
“Everything was perfect from the service to the food.
Very generous portion for the Lamb leg, very tender.
The staff was very attentive and friendly.
The atmosphere is cool and you can see your cooking.”
“Excellent meat and fish skewers served with mixed vegetables
Delicious grilled octopus with broccoli
The only flaw is that the waitresses don't understand English and are sometimes grumpy”
“We were going with the main idea of going to LX factory, but we noticed this small restaurant nearby, it's like the covers never show the interior, we decided to try it...
Freshly made pica pau, very tasty, the food is fresh, top music... I can say it was a good experience and we will certainly go back.”
“IPA on draft! Mojitos are great here! We just stopped here for a drink before dinner. I have a feeling food here would be great, too. You can see pride of ownership in this business. And IPA on draft!”
“More expensive than the surrounding restaurants (in the evening) but it's worth it! Magnificent setting, live music, hearty and delicious dishes, ultra friendly waiters.”
“We visit this restaurant regularly and it is always an excellent option!
End the week with the Tuna in Azores yeast cake and the prawns with sun-dried tomatoes, it's worth it!”
“Nandan was amazing, very friendly nice, funny and a great worker, He made my experience amazing and would recommend the restaurant. The food was great and the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.”
“We almost couldn’t find this place as it is a bit hidden but it is so worth the searching. They do a set price of €25 for a huge selection of dishes they bring, all nice small amounts which you can then ask for more of the ones you like the most - and we certainly did. The black chorizo and goats cheese was delicious as was the ‘woodpecker’ and the chicken gizzard was (surprisingly) really good. We all loved it. Drinks very reasonably priced and staff were fab. Trust me, go and try it, you’ll love it.”
“Small restaurant, good local food, very nice service, patient with kids. Highly recommended. Wife wanted to come back here every night! Octo0us, fish, sardinhas but also the veggies and the tomato salad were great!”
“It had good reviews and I was not disappointed. It is in the center, the place is one of the best I have been to considering that it is a restaurant with good prices. The service was very good, attentive and they did their part to make us understand, I don't speak Portuguese. The food was all very good, the only thing I ordered was seafood rice and it had a lot of flavor of some aromatic herb, but it happened to me somewhere else, I guess it's a Lisbon custom. Good price, highly recommended”
“I really like this Chinese restaurant! I‘ve been there now two times.
The only thing that is missing here for me, is the crispy duck.
But therefor it has other, very delicious dishes!
Good and fast service ??”
“Amazing place, one of my favorite in Lisbon! Tasty food and atmosphere is really nice. Big thanks for waitress Khrystyna, she is very friendly and kind person ?? we will come back to try more dishes from the menu!”
“2023: Super tasty steak and very good side dishes. Ate here two days in a row! Friendly staff, good quality and great prices!! Value for money 10/10! Only recommended!
Update 2024:
After a year we are back in Lisbon and came straight back here on the first day. Still super tasty and a great atmosphere at a great price!”

“Just returned from Lisbon and enjoyed ZeroZero several times. It is not a 5 Star restaurant with white napkins, elegant atmosphere and stuffy waiters. It does produce 5-star food and service, however. The waiters' attention to our needs superseded expectations. We ate pizza there, but also enjoyed two amazing pasta meals with an absolutely beautiful bottle of wine (encouraged by our waiter) and finished off with a gelato. We loved the food and the people there and would encourage all to go.”

“Food was decent like everyone else had said, and reasonable priced. It’s small and family run, I’m giving 4 starts because I’m not sure if the food was worth the almost one hour wait. Don’t get me wrong food was good but inside was crowded and very loud so those with sensory sensitivity be aware. And cash only was annoying”
“A restaurant which is not on the main boulevards but what a discovery.
A warm welcome with a big smile, in French too.
Always attentive to customers.
As for the dishes, there was nothing to complain about other than that they were succulent and plentiful.
The photos speak for themselves.
As a starter, shrimp, a dish for two is enough given what happens afterwards.
The octopus was magnificent, tender and tender.
The same goes for cod.
For dessert, we were no longer hungry but greed took over and the red fruit cheesecake was great.
Consider booking.
Thanks again for the welcome.
In addition in quantity for a more than reasonable price, I recommend 200%.”
“Lively, local, chaotic wonderful. Shrimp and garlic, clams and garlic, scarlet prawns, edible crab and that bread!
Delicious food, friendly kind and service and a raucous crowd made for an unforgettable first meal in Lisbon. A must when you come to Portugal! From central Lisbon it's about $6-8 in a cab”
“Their rigorously selected, certified-origin beef is the star of the show. Each cut is a masterpiece, cooked to perfection.
Atmosphere: The ambiance strikes a balance between cozy and chic, making it an ideal spot for a memorable dining experience.
Service: The attentive staff ensures you feel pampered throughout your meal.”
“Great brunch, if you come early in the morning you won't wait at all!
The dishes are delicious, plentiful and inexpensive. Everything is homemade in front of you and the service is impeccable.
I recommend with my eyes closed, Nicolau is an address not to be missed if you pass through Lisbon.”
