What a lovely spot! After walking around Alfama and seeing the monastery, we wandered down the street and found this beautiful park with a view of the river. It was quiet and shady with this great cafe. We enjoyed a delicious sandwich and wine. Highly recommend checking it out.
Can have a bit of a queue on Saturdays during the market, but a great spot to stop and rest in the shade with some light bites. Very good prices. Humus was very nice! Can see a bit of the river from the cafe.

The café is known for its great prices and the best galão coffee. While it can get busy during the nearby market on Saturdays, the café remains a great place to rest and recharge.
