About Portugália Cervejaria Belém

Portugália Cervejaria Belém is a restaurant located by the Tagus River, near the Monument to the Discoveries and the Belém Tower. It offers a Portuguese menu at affordable prices, with a full meal available for under 20 euros. The service is friendly and helpful, with staff serving drinks promptly and courteously. The restaurant features a beautiful view of the river and is wheelchair accessible. Customers enjoy the great display of fresh seafood and the restaurant's fantastic location on the water, next to the Discoveries Monument. The octopus salad is highly recommended, and the crab filling is very tasty, especially when enhanced with piri piri sauce. Toasted bread with butter is served alongside dishes. The shrimp stew was noted to have few shrimp, but overall, the food quality is good. On hot days, it is better to stay inside, as the terraces can be busy, but seating is often available even without reservations. Parking is available but may require some walking. The menu includes vegetarian options, although these are limited. The restaurant is a popular spot for visitors seeking good value and a scenic experience.

We only ordered one portion of fries, which we could only eat halfway, weren't really crispy and weren't really seasoned well. The employees were actually quite friendly so far. The atmosphere is, well, it's not 100% clean etc.

Near the Discovery Museum. Great value for money. The octopus salad was wonderful. The crab filling was very tasty, but requires an additional piri piri sauce to enhance the flavor. Accompanied by toasted bread with butter. The shrimp stew I found to have few shrimp.

Fantastic location on the water, next to the discoveries monument! Quite a busy place but they were very happy to give us a table. We had some drinks, which were served promptly and with great courtesy. Great display of fresh seafood. Prices looked reasonable enough for the location. We definitely will back for more!
