“Great local seafood restaurant in Lisbon!
We had Cod filet, clamps, seafood rice, and garlic prawns (so good that we even forgot to take photo). All the seafood here is really fresh and the seasoning is simple but heightening the flavors of the original ingredients.
This place seems more for local Lisbon people to have a beer and some seafood snacks not tourist-oriented. The price here is very reasonable. The interior decoration is also very simple. Staff here might not speak English, but they still try offering friendly services.
Definitely a place worth a visit for local seafood experience in Lisbon.“

“Excellent!
I was recommended to eat at this restaurant if I ever went to Setúbal and I was very satisfied.
A well-presented space, with quality products and proven freshness.
Adding to the kindness and professionalism of Paulo and the rest of the team who served us, our first visit to this house was an experience to be repeated.
Thank you very much, and see you soon ?“

“Very pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff. We went for dinner on Saturday and it was a little late and the service took a while but it was worth it. Good food, well prepared and in more than enough quantity. I highlight the homemade molotof which was superb. A well decorated and aesthetically very pleasant and interesting space. They have a very complete wine cellar with a very original design and construction.
Will we be back?
Yes of course!“

“Taken by friends, as I was unfamiliar with the place, it proved to be a gastronomic surprise, despite the noise not allowing for large conversations. Without ever reaching the stratospheric limit of "divine", the small restaurant served dishes of good, honest and unpretentious Portuguese food. The only negative note for the creamed milk, floured and with few eggs, which could have been something from a packet. A shame, because the burnt sugar topping was delicious.“

“Very good and fresh seafood and fishes!I love the tuna belly! Didn’t have such good quality anywhere in Portugal yet but here. U can also request to cook according to your liking so no overcooking!Small cuttlefish in the ink, and fish roe were also grilled to its perfection!Dessert are all home made and very special. We had the fig in egg cake and aqua dent on top of sweet potato pudding.“

“We stopped for lunch at O Dias because we were looking for a light meal on the waterfront. So glad to have made this selection. The waiter, Carla, was excellent. Very welcoming and took her time explaining the various items. Her recommendation was perfect: the thinly sliced sausage in a slightly spicy honey sauce along with some bread for dipping. I also had a lovely, large glass of sangria. I would definitely return when I'm next back In Setúbal.“

“10/10 experience. If you’re questioning whether or not to go, don’t, just go. The 10 course tasting (really 14 with desserts) was SO tasty and affordable. Our server was a standout as well. They connected with each table, clearly cared if you were enjoying your experience, was attentive but not overbearing, and had an overall great presence and energy. I would definitely go again!“

“Excellent place for lunch or dinner in Lisbon!
It is very close to the historic center of Lisbon and the food is very good at a very good price for being in the center.
Joy has looked after us very well, he is very friendly and has advised us on everything we have asked for.“
“…a late afternoon stroll through the wonderful village of Alcochete, and after a brief random search…Xico Garcia was the choice…and I guarantee it couldn’t have been better!

“We had an excellent lunch. We loved the atmosphere and the staff were all very friendly. What made our lunch so special was our Waiter Emerson. He recommended great food and was incredibly helpful and kind. Unfortunately they had a shift change so we didn't get to say a special thank you to him so here it is. Thanks for making our lunch so special Emerson.“

It's a 2 in 1: on the one hand, we have a good meal; on the other hand, we contribute to the fishermen's association, who deserve all the help! “It's one of my favorite places to eat seafood. The food is very well prepared and super fresh. Whenever we go there, we choose the natural shoe rack - which is divine and already arranged in such a way that we hardly have to use a hammer at the table.
The view is really nice, there is parking all around - even on those days when Setúbal is crowded - and the staff is very friendly.
The restaurant also has a terrace for those who want to stay outside and a side shop, for those who want to take seafood and eat at home.
Recommended!“

“One of the best restaurants in Barreiro in terms of quality/price.
The menu changes every day, maintaining 90% of the dishes.
Generous portions and very tasty food.
I recommend the mixed grill and the lizards.
For dessert I recommend the homemade burnt cream milk.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Ease of parking within a radius of 250m.“

“Simple, beautifully cooked local seafood and meats but the seafood was amazing.. you can choose your own farmed or wild caught fish.. we chose the clams and sea bass farmed - AMAZING tastes and I can’t recommend enough. Staff were great, spoke English as my Portuguese is bad. Helpful with the menu and food choices. Even weighed the wild fish to get the correct price.. An extensive menu. This is a local restaurant on the street near a busy road so great for people watching.“
“(Translated by Google) For me it is the best place to buy seafood in the Barreiro area. Always very fresh, there's crab, barnacles, shrimp, coastal shrimp, clams. “We arrived a little late for dinner and asked if dinner could still be served, the owner immediately made a table available for us to choose from. The menu had very nice options. We chose mussel tomato for starters (I don't remember the exact name), it was very good. Next we ordered the typical fried cuttlefish, I would have expected a thinner cuttlefish, it still came with “lard” of oil but otherwise it was good, the portion is well served for two people, to go with it is French fries. The sangria was also great. We were served by a very attentive and friendly gentleman. We saw divine desserts around us, we didn't have the stomach for it. The only thing to point out, I think they should ask about the coriander in the food, all the dishes contained coriander, not everyone likes it.
Parking: There is parking around but you have to pay every day of the week except during the night.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is easy access on the terrace to seat people with wheelchairs, inside the tables seem more cramped for this purpose“

“Very good, but they should improve the terrace service. The rest was fine. WC in good condition and clean.
Vegetarian options: It does not have
Parking: The restaurant is in the center of the city, without parking and parking is very complicated in the surroundings
Kid-friendliness: Not suitable
Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible“
“Excellent restaurant that we stumbled upon while visiting the wharf. The waiter gave us the recommendation of sea bass. He brought the fresh fish to the table like you would a bottle of wine. Yep, looks good! They grilled the fish and it was terrific! A pitcher of sangria, the fish for 2, olives, bread and a salad, all for 53 euros. Yum!“

“Great experience, both with the waiters, super friendly (they apologized several times for taking a little longer because they had a lot of work) and with the cooks and chef, who made a delicious and abundant meal. I have been trying takoyaki in many cities in my country (Spain) and until now I had not tried any better than those from another restaurant. They are well worth it, although be careful, they are very hot, but perfect. Thank you very much for the kindness and good vibes of the entire team!“

“I tried a saucer of snails and they were some of the best snails I've ever eaten (and look, I'm picky), you could tell that they were cooked slowly as required by law, tasting slightly garlicky, as tasty and simple as you want, I would just add a little more chilli pepper (but that’s everyone’s taste); congratulations!“

“It is possibly our favorite restaurant in Setúbal and where they have the best sardines and charcoal-grilled fish imaginable. If we also add the family atmosphere, the charm of everyone who serves you there and a great variety of desserts, all of them homemade, I think you couldn't ask for more.
In short: a must-see if you pass through Setúbal or seen in another way, a good reason to visit this beautiful Portuguese city if it was not in your plans.“

“Our tour guide and friend Diogo loves this spot. It’s not fancy and all the locals go here. It is very very VERY well priced for the amount and quality of food that you get. Three people in our group decided to do the “tasting” which is anywhere from 8 to 12 fish depending on the catches of the day. My mom and I decided to do entrées which were just as delicious. I couldn’t recommend this place more. It truly is a local spot and worth going to, but usually they can be very busy so I’d recommend going early for lunch or later in the day. Take note it’s cash only. the owner is very friendly and wonderful to speak with. Last week… The guys that did the taste were extremely stuffed, but very happy with their full bellies!! Oh and the yummy sangria sneaks up on you so watch out!“

“An absolute gem for tinned seafood lovers. The excellent selection of seafood, paired with ice-cold beer, is perfect on a hot June day. While my personal favorite was the Portuguese-style stuffed squid, the variety guarantees you'll find something to your liking. Plus, the tinned seafood makes a perfect souvenir from Portugal.“

“We wanted to go to the famous restaurant next door but as there was a queue the staff advised us to go to this new place from the same group and with the same chef. We were pleasantly surprised because everything was really delicious! The waiter at our table did not serve us well, first offering us wines and bitters and then saying he didn't have them so we could buy something else at a higher price. When I pointed this out to the room manager he immediately offered us the bitters we had requested and which according to the boy were not available, going to get them directly from the wine shop next door (always from the same group). We liked the Muscatel so much that we bought a bottle and drank some glasses of Port too. We definitely were unlucky with the table boy because the rest of the staff were magnificent!“

“Everything is very rich. Right off the bat they gave us four starters, goat cheese, olives, large cooked shrimp, and octopus salad with peppers with garlic butter. And two very delicious types of bread. Second, swordfish with potatoes cooked with oil and garlic, a salad and something very curious. I discovered that it was bread mixed with water and oil, with parsley and other spices, garlic oil, pepper and a spicy sauce. Very good.
In short, a delicious experience for €60.(2 people)
Wonderful!!
Sorry, the puffer can't resist some chocolate.... A frozen Brownie. It wasn't necessary, I was about to burst, but long live gluttony!!!!!!!

“Cozy but relatively small place. If you are not early, I recommend making a reservation. Friendly staff and always attentive to table requests. “Not your typical Rodizio restaurant but just that made it really great for us. Nice and simple, but savoury food.. Many options for “espetinhos”. The owner doesn’t speak anything but portuguese but made an effort to understand us and be understood, such a nice lady! Only downside for us was the noisy and smelly street right next to it. Still, Definitely recommend!“
