“Located right in the center of the “old” Oeiras “village”, right next to the church, with plenty of space, I advise you to book in advance, it would be a family tavern, with the mother serving and the daughter in the kitchen, with a service well, the lady was very friendly, we came to try the steak at the stall and honestly I was a little disappointed, the rabbit, that one, was exceptional, the house wine is not bad and the desserts are not bad either, we wanted to go back, However, there is only one drawback, which is that it does not have an exhaust system, which means that we leave with our clothes smelling like food.“

“I guess experience can be very different depending on person and their expectations. I really liked the place, did not expect much, but it was really nice, fast, food was very good, fresh, very home like. We did not wait at all with around 70 percent occupancy at 19 30 on Friday night.“
“The decor of the restaurant is retro, the food is traditional and delicious!! The chicken was divine, the flavors harmonious. Yes, everything here is old, the chairs, the tables, the waiter. But! The toilet is clean and tidy, the food is tasty, the old man serving is nice and smiling, why should everything be brand new and modern?? This little restaurant has charm. ❤️ All the charm and kindness of a disappearing age group can be found here, not to mention the wonderful view. “Above expectations: tasty food, cool atmosphere sitting at the tables in the street and very gentle snd caring staff.
Had dinner for 2. We were welcomed with some slices of bread accompanied by persil and garlic butter. We shared and enjoyed all we ordered: stuffed shrimps with tomato snd garlic base, grilled squid (served with white rice) and polpo a la gallega. All was amazing, but we “had to” take a second time the shrimps, so to enjoy more shrimp and use the tomato and garlic soup as a top for the rice we got with the squid. The rice topped with the tasty soup turned into an unexpected and delicious course.
We finally took a lemon mousse topped with crumbled biscuits: a fresh and delicious way to end the dinner. Highly recommended to go, and suggested to book a table says in advance.“

“Really nice place out in cascais. Service was great, prawns and fish too. The only thing (which was probably on us) was that the octopus just tasted of olive oil which took over a bit, but it also said on the menu “cooked in olive oil” so. Lovely view and great location“

“The fish cataplana is impressive as is the rice with seafood. We had a white wine that the waiter recommended and it was spectacular. Super recommended. It's a pleasure to dine in a place like this because of its good product and good price.“

“It deserves lots of praise and a new visit. In an easily accessible location, it offers a rich menu, a robust wine list and an impressive dessert list.
Among so many good things, I can highlight the soft dough pastries and the abbe de priscos. However, at a large group table no one complained. An excellent meal that will be remembered.“

“TOP place to eat in Belém, after visiting the neighborhood eating here (even when tired) makes you feel full and satisfied. The steak with egg is incredible, but the stone-grilled steak exceeds expectations. The wait at rush hour (14-15) and in August can be a little longer, as is normal, but it is worth it.“

“Good food, good atmosphere owner will go out of his way to help you with any questions you have about the food. The staff and owner were great with my kids. My kid had the secretos (pork) I had their steak (Entrecôte) medium rare very tender and juicy. ????“
