“This is really a hidden gem, not easy to get there, but it was completely booked, and one can understand why! The place has outstanding seafood, totally fresh and amazing wine to pair the food with. For starters we had some really nice cheese from Alentejo with really good bread; and we ordered some clams as well. The clams were fresh and amazingly cooked. For the main course we had grilled sea bream that was cooked to perfection, with sauteed vegetables. We ended on an amazing note with a delicious lemon meringue pie with a delicious tawny Port. The service was excellent, the only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is because the dishes took too long to come to the table. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. It is definitely worth going there.“

“It has the best Moscow Mule I've ever had... the preparation of the most different dishes I've tried (and there have been many) is truly impeccable, the employees are of the highest quality and have unsurpassed treatment and the entire decor is extremely tasteful. .“

“My wife and I dined here last night. The seafood rice, along with a very nice bottle of wine, was delicious. We followed this up by splitting a beautiful piece of seven layer cake for dessert. The service was outstanding and the price was very reasonable. So good we're going back tonight. No need to look any further.“

“The best were the desserts and the attention of the waiter, very attentive to everything, advising us and explaining each plant in Spanish in great detail. The sour legume soup (cress) is a spectacle. It exceeded my expectations. Thanks to Francisco, our waiter.“

“Some time ago I made a constructive criticism about this restaurant/seafood restaurant where I mentioned that, practically, it was impossible to speak/converse with the person with whom we were going to share the meal due to the fact that the noise of the dishes coming from the kitchen was extraordinarily annoying and incomprehensible, as It didn't happen in any other restaurant. In the same way that I did so constructively, I now come to praise the change that has occurred in this aspect. Today you can relax and enjoy the excellent dishes this restaurant offers and the calm atmosphere it has become. Therefore, I will continue to have lunch/dinner with the certainty that I will enjoy a well-cooked and peaceful meal. Congratulations on the change and continued success.“

“Above expectations: tasty food, cool atmosphere sitting at the tables in the street and very gentle snd caring staff.
Had dinner for 2. We were welcomed with some slices of bread accompanied by persil and garlic butter. We shared and enjoyed all we ordered: stuffed shrimps with tomato snd garlic base, grilled squid (served with white rice) and polpo a la gallega. All was amazing, but we “had to” take a second time the shrimps, so to enjoy more shrimp and use the tomato and garlic soup as a top for the rice we got with the squid. The rice topped with the tasty soup turned into an unexpected and delicious course.
We finally took a lemon mousse topped with crumbled biscuits: a fresh and delicious way to end the dinner. Highly recommended to go, and suggested to book a table says in advance.“

“Really nice place out in cascais. Service was great, prawns and fish too. The only thing (which was probably on us) was that the octopus just tasted of olive oil which took over a bit, but it also said on the menu “cooked in olive oil” so. Lovely view and great location“

“The fish cataplana is impressive as is the rice with seafood. We had a white wine that the waiter recommended and it was spectacular. Super recommended. It's a pleasure to dine in a place like this because of its good product and good price.“

“Coming to Lisbon, we couldn't miss the restaurant of chef Louise Bourrat, and we were won over! The 10-course menu and its 8 wines was a real pleasure from start to finish, a journey of flavor allowing us to discover Portuguese cuisine. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you have allergies, or if you don’t like certain foods (cilantro, cucumber, etc.), the menu is adapted for you.
All this is accompanied by very pleasant attentive service. We highly recommend!“

“It deserves lots of praise and a new visit. In an easily accessible location, it offers a rich menu, a robust wine list and an impressive dessert list.
Among so many good things, I can highlight the soft dough pastries and the abbe de priscos. However, at a large group table no one complained. An excellent meal that will be remembered.“

“Good food and even better seafood, I just don't give it 5* because the service (friendliness and attention falls short of the experience). Of the 4 employees I approached, 3 treated me with indifference and as if I was giving them a lot of work, the rest were 6*. Attention, dedication, speed....very, very good. I made a point of praising him straight away. Surprise! He was the owner of the restaurant.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a terrace on the street.“
“Great little tasca (mom and pop local place) with bare bones atmosphere but delicious local food at extremely fair prices. Had the cabbage and bean soup and it was delish. Fried pork strips…sounds so boring and it was also delish. Be like the Portuguese and come enjoy this place.“

“The food was good!
The dishes were well made, good plating and presentation.
As for the dishes, rich, flavorful, you could tell that the product was good. We noticed the care in the plating and the service was very friendly (both the girl and the boy).
The price may be a little high for what we ordered, but not excessive.“

“TOP place to eat in Belém, after visiting the neighborhood eating here (even when tired) makes you feel full and satisfied. The steak with egg is incredible, but the stone-grilled steak exceeds expectations. The wait at rush hour (14-15) and in August can be a little longer, as is normal, but it is worth it.“

Excellent atmosphere.

I will definitely come back to eat the same, I didn't think I would like a meat dish made in a seafood restaurant so much ??“

“The servers were some of the hardest working people and incredibly kind and helpful. They were fast, efficient, and really tried their best. They address you by your name and care a lot.
It was Extraordinary service. We had to wait 30 minutes, because there was a line, but they were going as fast as they could and really tried for a fast table turn around.
The appetizers were very yummy and helped us be patient waiting for food.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly as well as dogs :)“

“The portion of the octopus was surprising, they brought two small tentacles for 18 Е, in other restaurants for such a price they bring almost a whole one, well half for sure. There are no complaints about the taste, tasty tentacles. Dorado is deliciously prepared. The wine is delicious. Homely atmosphere and fast service.“

“Such a special place and an absolute must for dinner in Lisbon.
The food was incredible and the small details within their wonderful service was so very special.
Make sure you book... It's hard to get a table and you definitely can't just walk in. (August)“

“From the outside through the porch, a bit inconspicuous, but definitely an insider tip for anyone looking for an authentic Portuguese restaurant with inexpensive, tasty dishes near the Hotel Tryp by Wyndham Lissboa Caparica Mar.Multilingual menu and illustrations of the dishes make the selection easier. Delivery option through Bolt as well as clearer photos of the food on Google and Bolt. The free cherry liqueur was delicious and the espresso was strong and enjoyable.Only the dessert menu, which consists of industrial desserts, didn't appeal to us.“

“For the sake of this friendly restaurant, which is appreciated for its aesthetic environment, menu and service, I regret having to point out the lack of cordiality shown by SOME of the team members at the service, which, of course, needs to improve!
The customer is never taken for granted. Spend more sometimes or spend less sometimes, the customer must always be served with respect and kindness and not subject to the luck and mood of SOME employees and even hear reprimands from colleagues. It's not a category! Better is required.“
“We had dinner with friends who recommended the Chicken (Barbecue)... and it is simply well seasoned, delicious, wonderful! ? I also loved the fries, because they are real potatoes (and not the frozen ones) ??I will be back again, for sure!?? Super recommend!Note to those who follow me and Google: This time I don't have any pictures to post, because I was busy eating this delight the whole time! Lol ???♀️?♀️??Thanks.Continuation of Success ??“

“Seafood restaurant in the Alges area.
Very busy and does not take reservations on a first-come, first-served basis.
Service from some employees is not very friendly and it is clear that they needed more employees.
But as soon as we sat down, the food came quickly, was very well prepared and tasty.
Very good seafood.
Price appropriate to quality and quantity.“

“We had the best time here! We were only in Cascais for one night and the owner, Sonya, came out and talked with us the whole dinner. She said that she would bring out the best they had and took our menus. Everything we had was delicious, including the bottle of wine. We had a great time with great food and an experience that I will never forget from all my time in Portugal!!“

“Nice restaurant with very pleasant team.
The moules are really Good especially the Gratinados as a starter.
As for the main dishes, it would be great if we can have a refill of moules because even if they are big moules it is not enough for someone with a great appetite.
As non-alcoholic, we didn't try the gin
Kid-friendliness: Share one plate between two kids.“

“A quality restaurant. Excellent service. Product quality. A magnificent kitchen. A most pleasant atmosphere. Beautiful dining room and very nice terrace. 20 years of customers, every time we are in Cascais we eat there at least once. The price depends on what is requested. It can be very reasonable. And if the price is not the problem (it will never be exaggerated, Cascais is not Cannes) you will surely get it right.“

“Local restaurant with a lot of national Portuguese cuisine on its menu, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. We played it safe and ate shrimp, which we tried many times and it was excellent, and on the advice of the waiter, we also ordered some kind of crab, the name of which I have forgotten. They had fries and I have to admit that it was great.“

“Food as expected by the reviews read, the portion of mussels large, the scallops au gratin of scandal, the scallops also delicious and tender and the grilled octopus exquisite, accompanied with perfectly cooked vegetables.
The attention of the waitresses was great, but don't be in a hurry because the service is not fast, although it didn't matter to us and we enjoyed the evening. The apple pie we ordered for dessert was also delicious.“
